When to book a technician visit

  1. 1

AC that no longer cools properly

The unit runs but the air is barely cool, you hear knocking from the indoor head, or you find water on the wall. The technician brings pressure gauges and electrical test tools and finds the cause before starting any repair.

  2. 2

A fridge or cold room in your shop

The fridge does not hold temperature, or the compressor runs without cycling off. Stock loss starts before you notice the fault. The technician comes to your shop, checks the circuit and tells you the real condition of the unit.

  3. 3

A sudden fault with no obvious cause

The AC trips the breaker, runs without cooling, or gives off a smell. These symptoms can have different causes. The technician checks the board, compressor, capacitor and coil in the right order and explains what he finds.

What sets this district apart

Al Muntazahat is an upscale residential district with spacious villas on large, well-spaced plots, wide streets, large gardens and outdoor areas. Villas here are typically new or recently upgraded with advanced AC systems, often combining a main central unit with additional splits in annexes or summer kitchens. Accessing outdoor units is easy because gardens are large, but diagnosis may need knowledge of complex systems and multiple connections.

FAQ

Questions about HVAC & refrigeration technician

What does the technician bring on the visit?

The technician brings pressure gauges to check the refrigeration cycle, electrical meters to test the capacitor, relay and control board, and leak detection and flare joint tools. The exact kit depends on the fault description you give when you book.

Can the technician check the AC and the fridge in the same visit?

Yes. The technician covers both air conditioning and refrigeration, so if you have a faulty AC and a commercial fridge or cold unit at the same location he inspects both in one visit and explains the condition of each separately before any repair begins.

How does the technician explain the fault before any work begins?

The technician diagnoses the fault first, whether a failing capacitor, a deteriorated flare joint or a blocked drain line, then tells you what he found, what work is needed and which parts must be replaced. No work starts until you have approved what he has explained.

What happens if the repair needs a spare part?

After the inspection the technician names the part needed and explains why. If the part is available on site the repair is done in the same visit. If it has to be sourced first, he agrees a second visit with you. No replacement is started without your knowledge of what will be done.

Is the inspection for a split unit different from a ducted or cassette unit?

Yes. A split unit gives direct access to the coil, filter and flare joint. A ducted or cassette unit also needs the plenum, dampers and duct runs checked to confirm air is distributed correctly. The technician decides the inspection method after seeing the unit type and installation at your site.

My villa has a central system plus additional splits, how do you diagnose them together?

We inspect the main central system first, then each additional split unit, and determine whether the fault is in the main unit or the branch.

The garden is large and outdoor units are far away, does that cause problems?

Long distances can increase pressure drop in the pipes, so we carefully inspect pipe length, diameter and insulation.

Does summer heat affect the central system more than the splits?

The central system carries a larger load because it covers more area, so we regularly inspect the larger compressor and all ducts.

The duct pipes are mounted in the ceiling, how do you inspect them?

We trace the ducts from the outdoor unit through to the room outlets and check for leaks or blockages using specialist detection tools.
