When duct quality makes the difference

  1. 1

    Duct losing cold air

An open seam or an unsealed joint loses cold air before it reaches the room. We close every seam with Foster sealant in the workshop before shipping, so the seal does not depend on site work alone.

  2. 2

    Condensation wetting the ceiling

In Jeddah's humid air any bare metal surface sweats and drips onto the ceiling or damages the unit insulation. We wrap with Kimmco or Armaflex at the thickness the site calls for.

  3. 3

A project with many duct runs

A villa or commercial building needs main trunks, branches and plenums in several sizes. We make sections in the workshop numbered to the site plan, so the hanging crew assembles without cutting or adjusting.

Who it's for

  • Replacing your villa's AC and need new ductwork

We make supply and return trunks and plenums to your villa's dimensions, insulated and numbered, ready for the hanging crew without any on-site cutting.

How we work

How we work

  1. 1

    Send sizes or drawings

Send us the duct drawing or a list of section sizes. If sizes are not fixed yet, we agree a site survey before production starts.

  2. 2

    Review sizes and sheet gauge

We check each section's dimensions and pick the right sheet thickness for the duct size, then confirm quantities with you before cutting begins.

  3. 3

    Fabricate, seal and insulate

We cut and fold the G90 galvanised sheet, lock the seams with Foster sealant, and wrap each section with Kimmco or Armaflex insulation in the workshop before shipment.

  4. 4

    Number and deliver

We mark each section with its position and dimension from the site plan, so the hanging team identifies every piece without confusion and starts work on arrival.

Some of our work

Ductwork, rooftop units and diffusers, from work we've completed in Jeddah.

  • Galvanized rectangular duct trunk with branch takeoffs and round diffusers, hung from a black ceiling, a Carrier unit visible behind — interior finishing stage.
  • Round diffusers and a spiral duct trunk in a tiled stairwell service shaft.
  • Rooftop ductwork and an exhaust fan, with Jeddah buildings in the background.
  • Rooftop packaged AC units with rectangular duct transitions, city buildings behind.
  • Insulated rooftop duct run beside a packaged unit, a warehouse roof in the background.
  • A grid of round diffusers in an open-plan office ceiling, mid-construction.
  • An insulated rooftop duct elbow, against a mountainous backdrop.
  • Large insulated ductwork running along a factory ceiling, with workers visible below.
  • A yellow round diffuser mid-installation, with spiral duct and a suspended ceiling grid.
  • Duct insulation wrap in progress on a construction site, bare duct still exposed.
  • A black-painted duct trunk with round diffusers and track lighting, in a finished retail interior.
  • An indoor AHU unit connected to round ductwork in a mechanical plant room, exposed concrete ceiling.

What sets this district apart

Al Hamdaniyah is growing rapidly with new residential towers, commercial buildings and small hotels on regular streets. These new buildings are built to modern specifications that include complex central AC systems spanning multiple floors, and on-site cut ducts cause air balance failure and higher consumption. Workshop-made ducts with precise sealing and insulation achieve even cold distribution and energy stability.

Al Hamdaniyah is in the east, a rapidly growing district of new residential towers, commercial buildings and hotels on a grid layout.

Most new buildings here use central units with complex metal ducts and need precisely made ducts to distribute air evenly across multiple floors and rooms.

The AC setup in Al Hamdaniyah

  1. 1

    Complex multi-run ducts

Multi-storey new buildings need complex ducts with many runs and branches, made with full seals at every junction.

  2. 2

Heavy insulation to prevent condensation and rust

Thick foam insulation protects ducts from coastal humidity and reduces cooling loss through tall towers and buildings.

  3. 3

    Ducts numbered to drawings

Every duct arrives numbered to its position on the drawings, making installation fast and accurate on site and reducing errors.

Before the visit

Before our visit in Al Hamdaniyah

  1. 1

    Send complete and detailed drawings

Send us complete central AC drawings with exact dimensions for all runs, branches and plenums before production so we manufacture with highest accuracy.

  2. 2

    Specify access and mounting points

Tell us about available passages and spaces for duct runs, and which walls or ceilings will hold the ducts.

  3. 3

Agree on production and pickup schedule

Set a date with our team for finishing production and collecting the ducts, so installation starts on your project schedule.

FAQ

Questions about AC duct manufacturing

How do you make sure the duct does not leak air at the seams?

We close the long seams with a tight mechanical lock as the sheet is formed, then seal every seam and every joint between sections with Foster sealant before insulating. Sections leave the workshop with matching flanges that tighten evenly when hung, because any small gap in cold duct means lost air and a point where condensation forms.

Does the duct arrive ready to hang, or is it assembled on site?

Sections arrive fabricated, insulated, sealed and numbered to the route drawing, so the fitters know where each piece goes without cutting or altering on site. What is left on site is joining the sections, fixing them to the hangers and connecting the unit and outlets, which shortens the work above the ceiling.

Do you make plenums for cassette and cabinet units?

Yes, we fabricate plenums for both types. A cassette unit plenum is measured to match the unit's outlet frame exactly so air reaches the branch runs without leaking at the connection. A cabinet unit plenum is made to carry both the supply and return paths if the design calls for it. Both types are insulated with Kimmco or Armaflex and sealed with Foster sealant before they leave the workshop.

Can you manufacture duct for a large commercial project?

Yes. The workshop is equipped to fabricate large supply and return trunk runs suited to commercial, government and industrial buildings. Each section is made to the project drawings, numbered and delivered ready to hang after insulation and sealing. When engineering drawings are available, the technical team reviews them before fabrication starts to confirm that the duct dimensions fit the ceiling voids on site.

Why are the duct sections insulated in the workshop before delivery?

The duct carries cold air through a ceiling void that may be hot and humid. Without external insulation, water vapour condenses on the cold sheet and drips onto the false ceiling or the goods below. So each section is wrapped in Kimmco or Armaflex in our workshop and every edge and joint is sealed with Foster sealant before delivery.

Are manufactured ducts necessary in Al Hamdaniyah's new buildings?

Yes, multi-storey new buildings need precision-made ducts for balanced distribution across floors. On-site cut ducts cause cooling differences and higher electricity bills.

Do manufactured ducts fit small hotels and commercial buildings?

Yes, we make custom ducts for hotels and commercial buildings based on the number of rooms, area and floors. Each project has its own drawings, and we manufacture ducts to match exactly.

Does Jeddah's humid climate affect new metal ducts?

Yes, high humidity and heat cause condensation and rust on poorly insulated ducts. We insulate every duct with thick foam to prevent corrosion and ensure system durability.

How long does it take to manufacture and deliver workshop ducts?

The time depends on the project size, number of ducts and design complexity. Send us the drawings on WhatsApp, and we will tell you the production and delivery schedule that suits your project timeline.
