When duct quality makes the difference

  1. 1

    Duct losing cold air

An open seam or an unsealed joint loses cold air before it reaches the room. We close every seam with Foster sealant in the workshop before shipping, so the seal does not depend on site work alone.

  2. 2

    Condensation wetting the ceiling

In Jeddah's humid air any bare metal surface sweats and drips onto the ceiling or damages the unit insulation. We wrap with Kimmco or Armaflex at the thickness the site calls for.

  3. 3

A project with many duct runs

A villa or commercial building needs main trunks, branches and plenums in several sizes. We make sections in the workshop numbered to the site plan, so the hanging crew assembles without cutting or adjusting.

Who it's for

  • Replacing your villa's AC and need new ductwork

We make supply and return trunks and plenums to your villa's dimensions, insulated and numbered, ready for the hanging crew without any on-site cutting.

How we work

How we work

  1. 1

    Send sizes or drawings

Send us the duct drawing or a list of section sizes. If sizes are not fixed yet, we agree a site survey before production starts.

  2. 2

    Review sizes and sheet gauge

We check each section's dimensions and pick the right sheet thickness for the duct size, then confirm quantities with you before cutting begins.

  3. 3

    Fabricate, seal and insulate

We cut and fold the G90 galvanised sheet, lock the seams with Foster sealant, and wrap each section with Kimmco or Armaflex insulation in the workshop before shipment.

  4. 4

    Number and deliver

We mark each section with its position and dimension from the site plan, so the hanging team identifies every piece without confusion and starts work on arrival.

Ductwork, rooftop units and diffusers, from work we've completed in Jeddah.

  • Galvanized rectangular duct trunk with branch takeoffs and round diffusers, hung from a black ceiling, a Carrier unit visible behind — interior finishing stage.
  • Round diffusers and a spiral duct trunk in a tiled stairwell service shaft.
  • Rooftop ductwork and an exhaust fan, with Jeddah buildings in the background.
  • Rooftop packaged AC units with rectangular duct transitions, city buildings behind.
  • Insulated rooftop duct run beside a packaged unit, a warehouse roof in the background.
  • A grid of round diffusers in an open-plan office ceiling, mid-construction.
  • An insulated rooftop duct elbow, against a mountainous backdrop.
  • Large insulated ductwork running along a factory ceiling, with workers visible below.
  • A yellow round diffuser mid-installation, with spiral duct and a suspended ceiling grid.
  • Duct insulation wrap in progress on a construction site, bare duct still exposed.

What sets this district apart

Al Majami' contains large residential complexes with dozens of units, alongside modern villas and scattered shops. Large complexes typically choose unified central AC for all units or separate per-unit cooling by design. On-site-cut ducts leave gaps that bleed cold, a serious issue in large complexes where system load is high. Shop-sealed and insulated ducts deliver uniform efficiency across the whole complex and cut energy loss.

Al Majami' sits at far north Jeddah, a district of large residential complexes with modern villas and commercial shops.

Large residential complexes in Al Majami' use either unified central AC or separate central systems per unit, with ducts routed through shared false ceilings and partition walls.

The AC setup in Al Majami'

  1. 1

Unified duct network for large complexes

Large residential complexes use a unified main duct network with separate or shared distribution by design.

  2. 2

    Distribution ducts through shared corridors

Ducts distribute through shared corridors and spaces safely and concealed within false ceilings.

  3. 3

Insulated sealed ducts for uniform efficiency

All ducts are fully insulated and tightly sealed to ensure uniform distribution and high efficiency across the entire complex.

FAQ

Questions about AC duct manufacturing

How do you make sure the duct does not leak air at the seams?

We close the long seams with a tight mechanical lock as the sheet is formed, then seal every seam and every joint between sections with Foster sealant before insulating. Sections leave the workshop with matching flanges that tighten evenly when hung, because any small gap in cold duct means lost air and a point where condensation forms.

Does the duct arrive ready to hang, or is it assembled on site?

Sections arrive fabricated, insulated, sealed and numbered to the route drawing, so the fitters know where each piece goes without cutting or altering on site. What is left on site is joining the sections, fixing them to the hangers and connecting the unit and outlets, which shortens the work above the ceiling.

Do you make plenums for cassette and cabinet units?

Yes, we fabricate plenums for both types. A cassette unit plenum is measured to match the unit's outlet frame exactly so air reaches the branch runs without leaking at the connection. A cabinet unit plenum is made to carry both the supply and return paths if the design calls for it. Both types are insulated with Kimmco or Armaflex and sealed with Foster sealant before they leave the workshop.

Can you manufacture duct for a large commercial project?

Yes. The workshop is equipped to fabricate large supply and return trunk runs suited to commercial, government and industrial buildings. Each section is made to the project drawings, numbered and delivered ready to hang after insulation and sealing. When engineering drawings are available, the technical team reviews them before fabrication starts to confirm that the duct dimensions fit the ceiling voids on site.

Why are the duct sections insulated in the workshop before delivery?

The duct carries cold air through a ceiling void that may be hot and humid. Without external insulation, water vapour condenses on the cold sheet and drips onto the false ceiling or the goods below. So each section is wrapped in Kimmco or Armaflex in our workshop and every edge and joint is sealed with Foster sealant before delivery.

Our large residential complex wants unified ducts for all units, can you make them?

Yes, we manufacture unified duct networks for large residential complexes. We take complete complex plans, count the units and produce main supply, distribution and return ducts with full precision.

The complex has shared spaces and long corridors, how are the ducts distributed?

We design duct distribution based on the complex's layout, shared areas and corridors. We manufacture precisely distributed branches for each complex section, with strong main ducts routed through long hallways.

Humidity and heat in the complexes are high, is insulation and sealing enough for cooling efficiency?

Yes, fully insulated and tightly sealed ducts maintain cooling efficiency even in high heat and humidity. Foster sealing on every joint stops any cold-air loss.

The complex is huge and splits into phases, how do you handle future expansion?

We manufacture phase-one ducts so they can be connected later to new ducts in future phases. We provide designs that expand as your project needs.
