When duct quality makes the difference
- 1
Duct losing cold air
An open seam or an unsealed joint loses cold air before it reaches the room. We close every seam with Foster sealant in the workshop before shipping, so the seal does not depend on site work alone.
- 2
Condensation wetting the ceiling
In Jeddah's humid air any bare metal surface sweats and drips onto the ceiling or damages the unit insulation. We wrap with Kimmco or Armaflex at the thickness the site calls for.
- 3
A project with many duct runs
A villa or commercial building needs main trunks, branches and plenums in several sizes. We make sections in the workshop numbered to the site plan, so the hanging crew assembles without cutting or adjusting.
Who it's for
Replacing your villa's AC and need new ductwork
We make supply and return trunks and plenums to your villa's dimensions, insulated and numbered, ready for the hanging crew without any on-site cutting.
Ask on WhatsAppRunning a commercial fit-out that needs duct runs
We take your project drawings and produce numbered sections in batches matched to your site schedule, so the hanging crew is never waiting on supply.

How we work
How we work
- 1
Send sizes or drawings
Send us the duct drawing or a list of section sizes. If sizes are not fixed yet, we agree a site survey before production starts.
- 2
Review sizes and sheet gauge
We check each section's dimensions and pick the right sheet thickness for the duct size, then confirm quantities with you before cutting begins.
- 3
Fabricate, seal and insulate
We cut and fold the G90 galvanised sheet, lock the seams with Foster sealant, and wrap each section with Kimmco or Armaflex insulation in the workshop before shipment.
- 4
Number and deliver
We mark each section with its position and dimension from the site plan, so the hanging team identifies every piece without confusion and starts work on arrival.
Workshop-made or site-cut duct?
| Alrabih | The usual way | |
|---|---|---|
| Sealing | Foster on every seam in workshop | Uneven site sealing |
| Insulation | Kimmco or Armaflex fully wrapped | Partial or delayed wrap |
| Sheet gauge | Chosen for each duct size | One gauge for everything |
| Assembly time | Numbered, assembled straight away | Cut and adjust on site |
| Joint fit | Workshop dimensions close every joint | Hand trimming breaks the seal |

What sets this district apart
Al Sahifah is a contemporary-build area with mid to large residential blocks and mixed commercial buildings, most projects using central AC distributed across multiple floors and wings. On-site-cut ducts leave gaps that bleed air and pressure, especially in tall residential towers where the distance from the central unit to the top floor is significant. Workshop manufacturing ensures tight seals and thick insulation maintaining system efficiency across all floors and wings.
Al Sahifah is in central Jeddah, a contemporary-build area of large modern residential and commercial blocks.
Most residential and commercial projects here are tall towers using central AC units with long ducts distributed across multiple floors.
The AC setup in Al Sahifah
- 1
Strong main ducts for tall towers
Tall residential towers need main ducts with large diameters and thick walls to handle pressure and the extra height.
- 2
Separate branches per wing or unit
Different residential and commercial wings need separate branches with dampers to balance pressure and cooling across each unit.
- 3
Heavily insulated central return ducts
Return ducts from upper floors need thick insulation and tight seals to avoid absorbing heat from the hot outside air.
Before the visit
Before our visit in Al Sahifah
- 1
Gather complete drawings for the building and towers
Send us architectural drawings with exact dimensions for each floor, the central unit location and every branch and wing in the building.
- 2
Define separate wings and different uses
Discuss the number of different residential and commercial wings and how ducts will be distributed, so we ensure precise balance.
- 3
Coordinate with construction, structure and electrical teams
Ensure all teams know when ducts arrive, their route across floors, and electrical power is ready for the central unit.

FAQ
Questions about AC duct manufacturing
How do you make sure the duct does not leak air at the seams?
We close the long seams with a tight mechanical lock as the sheet is formed, then seal every seam and every joint between sections with Foster sealant before insulating. Sections leave the workshop with matching flanges that tighten evenly when hung, because any small gap in cold duct means lost air and a point where condensation forms.
Does the duct arrive ready to hang, or is it assembled on site?
Sections arrive fabricated, insulated, sealed and numbered to the route drawing, so the fitters know where each piece goes without cutting or altering on site. What is left on site is joining the sections, fixing them to the hangers and connecting the unit and outlets, which shortens the work above the ceiling.
Do you make plenums for cassette and cabinet units?
Yes, we fabricate plenums for both types. A cassette unit plenum is measured to match the unit's outlet frame exactly so air reaches the branch runs without leaking at the connection. A cabinet unit plenum is made to carry both the supply and return paths if the design calls for it. Both types are insulated with Kimmco or Armaflex and sealed with Foster sealant before they leave the workshop.
Can you manufacture duct for a large commercial project?
Yes. The workshop is equipped to fabricate large supply and return trunk runs suited to commercial, government and industrial buildings. Each section is made to the project drawings, numbered and delivered ready to hang after insulation and sealing. When engineering drawings are available, the technical team reviews them before fabrication starts to confirm that the duct dimensions fit the ceiling voids on site.
Why are the duct sections insulated in the workshop before delivery?
The duct carries cold air through a ceiling void that may be hot and humid. Without external insulation, water vapour condenses on the cold sheet and drips onto the false ceiling or the goods below. So each section is wrapped in Kimmco or Armaflex in our workshop and every edge and joint is sealed with Foster sealant before delivery.
Do tall residential towers need special duct standards for over 10 floors?
Yes, tall towers need larger-diameter ducts and higher pressure to ensure even distribution from the ground floor to the top.
Does the long distance from the ground-floor unit to upper floors cause pressure loss?
Yes, long ducts lose significant pressure if not sealed tightly, and we seal every joint precisely to maintain consistent pressure across the full height.
Does the dense building and heat and humidity in Al Sahifah affect ducts?
Yes, we insulate all ducts heavily to prevent cold-air loss and condensation in the hot, humid air between densely packed buildings.
Can separate ducts be split for different residential or commercial wings in the same building?
Yes, we design the system with separate branches for each wing or commercial unit, with dampers to control pressure and independent distribution per wing.
