When duct quality makes the difference
- 1
Duct losing cold air
An open seam or an unsealed joint loses cold air before it reaches the room. We close every seam with Foster sealant in the workshop before shipping, so the seal does not depend on site work alone.
- 2
Condensation wetting the ceiling
In Jeddah's humid air any bare metal surface sweats and drips onto the ceiling or damages the unit insulation. We wrap with Kimmco or Armaflex at the thickness the site calls for.
- 3
A project with many duct runs
A villa or commercial building needs main trunks, branches and plenums in several sizes. We make sections in the workshop numbered to the site plan, so the hanging crew assembles without cutting or adjusting.
Who it's for
Replacing your villa's AC and need new ductwork
We make supply and return trunks and plenums to your villa's dimensions, insulated and numbered, ready for the hanging crew without any on-site cutting.

How we work
How we work
- 1
Send sizes or drawings
Send us the duct drawing or a list of section sizes. If sizes are not fixed yet, we agree a site survey before production starts.
- 2
Review sizes and sheet gauge
We check each section's dimensions and pick the right sheet thickness for the duct size, then confirm quantities with you before cutting begins.
- 3
Fabricate, seal and insulate
We cut and fold the G90 galvanised sheet, lock the seams with Foster sealant, and wrap each section with Kimmco or Armaflex insulation in the workshop before shipment.
- 4
Number and deliver
We mark each section with its position and dimension from the site plan, so the hanging team identifies every piece without confusion and starts work on arrival.

What sets this district apart
Al Salihiyah has purposefully designed mid-rise blocks with tight mechanical spaces and confined air routes, requiring high-precision ductwork. Random on-site cutting causes leaks that waste cool air and trap humidity in Jeddah's coastal heat. Workshop-sealed and insulated ducts deliver even air pressure to each unit and cut electricity use across the building.
Al Salihiyah sits in east Jeddah, a district of practical mid-rise residential blocks with limited space and engineered layout.
Most residential towers here run multiple central cooling units, each serving several floors through vertical and horizontal duct networks.
The AC setup in Al Salihiyah
- 1
Vertical and horizontal interconnected duct networks
Buildings here need ducts that run vertically between floors and branch horizontally to flats, with every joint sealed and no leaks.
- 2
Insulated against cool loss and moisture entry
In internal corridors and potentially warm ceilings, full insulation maintains cool air and stops condensation forming.
- 3
Precision joint fittings with Foster sealing
Duct junctions are sealed with Foster Sealant to stop any air leakage or outside moisture seeping in.
Before the visit
Before our visit in Al Salihiyah
- 1
Obtain ceiling and corridor blueprints
Send floor plans and mechanical paths so we can see where ducts will run between units and fans.
- 2
Confirm mechanical room access for delivery
Manufactured duct sections need to reach the mechanical space from the main entry, so confirm corridors and doors can take large sections.
- 3
Get building or hotel management approval
Coordinate with building or hotel management to schedule installation days that do not disturb residents or guests.

FAQ
Questions about AC duct manufacturing
How do you make sure the duct does not leak air at the seams?
We close the long seams with a tight mechanical lock as the sheet is formed, then seal every seam and every joint between sections with Foster sealant before insulating. Sections leave the workshop with matching flanges that tighten evenly when hung, because any small gap in cold duct means lost air and a point where condensation forms.
Does the duct arrive ready to hang, or is it assembled on site?
Sections arrive fabricated, insulated, sealed and numbered to the route drawing, so the fitters know where each piece goes without cutting or altering on site. What is left on site is joining the sections, fixing them to the hangers and connecting the unit and outlets, which shortens the work above the ceiling.
Do you make plenums for cassette and cabinet units?
Yes, we fabricate plenums for both types. A cassette unit plenum is measured to match the unit's outlet frame exactly so air reaches the branch runs without leaking at the connection. A cabinet unit plenum is made to carry both the supply and return paths if the design calls for it. Both types are insulated with Kimmco or Armaflex and sealed with Foster sealant before they leave the workshop.
Can you manufacture duct for a large commercial project?
Yes. The workshop is equipped to fabricate large supply and return trunk runs suited to commercial, government and industrial buildings. Each section is made to the project drawings, numbered and delivered ready to hang after insulation and sealing. When engineering drawings are available, the technical team reviews them before fabrication starts to confirm that the duct dimensions fit the ceiling voids on site.
Why are the duct sections insulated in the workshop before delivery?
The duct carries cold air through a ceiling void that may be hot and humid. Without external insulation, water vapour condenses on the cold sheet and drips onto the false ceiling or the goods below. So each section is wrapped in Kimmco or Armaflex in our workshop and every edge and joint is sealed with Foster sealant before delivery.
Can you make tall vertical ducts for apartment towers?
Yes, we make multi-storey vertical ducts and seal every joint tightly with full insulation to keep cold air steady as it rises.
Our mechanical room is very tight, will custom ductwork fit?
We measure the actual space first and make ducts to fit the real dimensions available, including clearances around columns and wiring.
Humidity in Al Salihiyah is high, how do you protect ducts from condensation?
We wrap ducts in thick insulation and seal every gap with Foster, keeping the outer surfaces warm and preventing moisture build-up inside.
Does the central duct network need extra electrical load?
The ducts themselves draw no power, but the distribution fans do. In residential towers, total electrical needs are calculated at design stage based on unit count and storeys.
