When duct quality makes the difference
- 1
Duct losing cold air
An open seam or an unsealed joint loses cold air before it reaches the room. We close every seam with Foster sealant in the workshop before shipping, so the seal does not depend on site work alone.
- 2
Condensation wetting the ceiling
In Jeddah's humid air any bare metal surface sweats and drips onto the ceiling or damages the unit insulation. We wrap with Kimmco or Armaflex at the thickness the site calls for.
- 3
A project with many duct runs
A villa or commercial building needs main trunks, branches and plenums in several sizes. We make sections in the workshop numbered to the site plan, so the hanging crew assembles without cutting or adjusting.
Who it's for
Replacing your villa's AC and need new ductwork
We make supply and return trunks and plenums to your villa's dimensions, insulated and numbered, ready for the hanging crew without any on-site cutting.

How we work
How we work
- 1
Send sizes or drawings
Send us the duct drawing or a list of section sizes. If sizes are not fixed yet, we agree a site survey before production starts.
- 2
Review sizes and sheet gauge
We check each section's dimensions and pick the right sheet thickness for the duct size, then confirm quantities with you before cutting begins.
- 3
Fabricate, seal and insulate
We cut and fold the G90 galvanised sheet, lock the seams with Foster sealant, and wrap each section with Kimmco or Armaflex insulation in the workshop before shipment.
- 4
Number and deliver
We mark each section with its position and dimension from the site plan, so the hanging team identifies every piece without confusion and starts work on arrival.
Workshop-made or site-cut duct?
| Alrabih | The usual way | |
|---|---|---|
| Sealing | Foster on every seam in workshop | Uneven site sealing |
| Insulation | Kimmco or Armaflex fully wrapped | Partial or delayed wrap |
| Sheet gauge | Chosen for each duct size | One gauge for everything |
| Assembly time | Numbered, assembled straight away | Cut and adjust on site |
| Joint fit | Workshop dimensions close every joint | Hand trimming breaks the seal |

What sets this district apart
Al Tawfeeq is a relatively older district compared to the southern areas, dominated by mid-rise apartment blocks with some office and commercial projects, and streets are narrower with less flexibility for post-build changes. Most projects here cannot afford to cut and modify ducts on site because it delays the schedule and creates gaps where cold air leaks and moisture pools in Jeddah's damp climate. Pre-made ducts ensure better fit with available dimensions and faster installation.
Al Tawfeeq lies in east Jeddah and is a district of relatively older apartment blocks with small to mid-size office and commercial projects.
Most residential and office projects in Al Tawfeeq use central AC systems rather than splits, requiring carefully distributed ductwork across floors and corridors.
The AC setup in Al Tawfeeq
- 1
Distribution ducts for multi-unit flats
Al Tawfeeq's apartment blocks need main and branching supply ducts from the central unit to multiple flats, fully insulated with every seam sealed.
- 2
Corridor and common-area ducts
Large office and residential projects here need separate ducts for corridors and common areas, and pre-manufacturing ensures better dimensional accuracy.
- 3
Collected return ducts
AC systems in these projects need return ducts collecting from multiple units back to the central unit, fully insulated to reduce noise.

FAQ
Questions about AC duct manufacturing
How do you make sure the duct does not leak air at the seams?
We close the long seams with a tight mechanical lock as the sheet is formed, then seal every seam and every joint between sections with Foster sealant before insulating. Sections leave the workshop with matching flanges that tighten evenly when hung, because any small gap in cold duct means lost air and a point where condensation forms.
Does the duct arrive ready to hang, or is it assembled on site?
Sections arrive fabricated, insulated, sealed and numbered to the route drawing, so the fitters know where each piece goes without cutting or altering on site. What is left on site is joining the sections, fixing them to the hangers and connecting the unit and outlets, which shortens the work above the ceiling.
Do you make plenums for cassette and cabinet units?
Yes, we fabricate plenums for both types. A cassette unit plenum is measured to match the unit's outlet frame exactly so air reaches the branch runs without leaking at the connection. A cabinet unit plenum is made to carry both the supply and return paths if the design calls for it. Both types are insulated with Kimmco or Armaflex and sealed with Foster sealant before they leave the workshop.
Can you manufacture duct for a large commercial project?
Yes. The workshop is equipped to fabricate large supply and return trunk runs suited to commercial, government and industrial buildings. Each section is made to the project drawings, numbered and delivered ready to hang after insulation and sealing. When engineering drawings are available, the technical team reviews them before fabrication starts to confirm that the duct dimensions fit the ceiling voids on site.
Why are the duct sections insulated in the workshop before delivery?
The duct carries cold air through a ceiling void that may be hot and humid. Without external insulation, water vapour condenses on the cold sheet and drips onto the false ceiling or the goods below. So each section is wrapped in Kimmco or Armaflex in our workshop and every edge and joint is sealed with Foster sealant before delivery.
Do you make ductwork for older office projects in Al Tawfeeq?
Yes, we make ductwork for both older office and residential projects in Al Tawfeeq, accounting for the limited dimensions of corridors and floors during manufacturing.
Al Tawfeeq's streets are narrow, does that affect delivering the manufactured ducts?
We supply ducts divided into numbered sections that move easily through narrow streets and entries, and we simplify assembly and joining on site.
Do insulated ducts maintain their insulation over time in humid conditions?
We seal every seam with Foster sealant and fully insulate ducts to prevent air leakage and moisture seeping through cracks in Jeddah's humid environment.
How do you handle ductwork running over floors and suspended ceilings in larger projects?
We study duct routing with suspended ceilings and floors, and manufacture ducts to exact dimensions that fit the available space and ensure safe installation.
