Who needs workshop-fabricated duct?

  1. 1

    A contractor with project-specific sizes

Your project has non-standard sizes or volumes too large for site cutting. We fabricate rectangular and round sections from your drawings at exact dimensions, labelled and ready to hang when they reach the site.

  2. 2

Fittings too awkward to cut on site

Elbows, transitions, offsets and takeoffs come out distorted when cut by hand on site, leaking air and creating noise in the line. We make them in the workshop at the right dimensions with tight seams.

  3. 3

Extending or renovating an existing duct network

You need new branches, a damaged section replaced or a fitting that matches an old duct size. We measure the existing network on site and fabricate the pieces to match what is already there.

Who it's for

  • Building a facility that needs non-standard duct sizes

We read your project drawings and fabricate all sections and fittings at exact dimensions from G90 or aluminium sheet, labelled and ready to hang the moment they reach your site.

  • Renovating home AC and need fittings to match old duct

We measure the existing ductwork in your home and fabricate the branches, transitions and elbows needed to match the original duct without replacing the whole network.

How we work

How we work

  1. 1

    Take measurements

A technician visits the site or you send us the drawings; we list every duct section needed, its size and the correct sheet thickness for that section.

  2. 2

    Fabricate sections and fittings

We cut, form and lock the sheet in the workshop, including all elbows, transitions, offsets and takeoffs, and each section comes out at its exact dimension.

  3. 3

    Label and prepare for delivery

We number every section and fitting against the assembly plan so the installation crew knows exactly where each piece goes, with no guessing on site.

  4. 4

    Deliver to site

We deliver the duct to your Jeddah site protected and ready to hang. If you need an installation crew, we can arrange that as a separate step.

Some of our work

Ductwork, rooftop units and diffusers, from work we've completed in Jeddah.

  • Galvanized rectangular duct trunk with branch takeoffs and round diffusers, hung from a black ceiling, a Carrier unit visible behind — interior finishing stage.
  • Round diffusers and a spiral duct trunk in a tiled stairwell service shaft.
  • Rooftop ductwork and an exhaust fan, with Jeddah buildings in the background.
  • Rooftop packaged AC units with rectangular duct transitions, city buildings behind.
  • Insulated rooftop duct run beside a packaged unit, a warehouse roof in the background.
  • A grid of round diffusers in an open-plan office ceiling, mid-construction.
  • An insulated rooftop duct elbow, against a mountainous backdrop.
  • Large insulated ductwork running along a factory ceiling, with workers visible below.
  • A yellow round diffuser mid-installation, with spiral duct and a suspended ceiling grid.
  • Duct insulation wrap in progress on a construction site, bare duct still exposed.
  • A black-painted duct trunk with round diffusers and track lighting, in a finished retail interior.

What sets this district apart

Al Sahl is an industrial and commercial zone with factories, warehouses and large workshops, mostly needing central ventilation and AC systems with wide round duct. These large projects require very large duct sections and complex elbows and transitions to distribute cold air evenly across vast spaces. Shop fabrication ensures dimensional precision, quality and fast installation.

Al Sahl is an industrial and commercial zone in the south, marked by factories, warehouses and large workshops needing robust ventilation and AC systems.

Most industrial systems here use large round or spacious rectangular duct distributing air across vast areas, with duct diameters reaching 600 mm or more.

The AC setup in Al Sahl

  1. 1

Large-diameter round duct from the outdoor unit

Factories and warehouses need large-diameter round duct (600 mm or more) conveying large volumes of air from the outdoor unit.

  2. 2

    Robust branches to different areas

Vast spaces need robust duct branches distributed across the factory or warehouse by cooling and ventilation zones.

  3. 3

    Reinforced-gauge duct for pressure resistance

Large systems generate high pressure, so we use appropriately gauged G90 galvanized to withstand pressure and heat.

Before the visit

Before our visit in Al Sahl

  1. 1

Obtain complete factory or warehouse drawings

Send factory drawings with dimensions, heights and zones needing cooling or ventilation.

  2. 2

Specify outdoor unit and compressor location

Tell us where the outdoor unit and compressor will be (roof or ground), as this determines the main duct's starting point.

  3. 3

Confirm access for heavy installation equipment

Ensure sidewalks, passages and roofs are strong enough to bear large duct and heavy metal supports.

FAQ

Questions about Duct fabrication

Can you fabricate from drawings without visiting the site?

Yes, when the drawings are clear and carry the actual as-built dimensions. If a dimension is uncertain or a field change has been made, we prefer a site visit to avoid a fabricated piece that does not fit. We discuss the better approach with you before starting work.

What is the difference between galvanized and aluminium sheet for duct?

G90 galvanized sheet is the standard choice for interior duct: strong and suited to a range of pressures. Aluminium is lighter and handles Jeddah's coastal humidity and salt air better, making it right for some exposed applications or where structural load is a limiting factor. The correct choice depends on the site.

Can you make elbows and transitions to match an existing duct network?

Yes. We measure the existing network on site to match sizes precisely, whether you need a new branch added, a damaged fitting replaced or an extension tied into the original ductwork. The right approach is confirmed after the site visit.

How do you choose sheet thickness for each section?

Thickness follows section size: a large duct needs heavier sheet to hold its shape under pressure, a small one can use lighter material. We apply the SMACNA requirements to each section in the project individually, not a single thickness across the whole job.

Does Jeddah's humidity and salt air affect which sheet material to use?

Yes, particularly for sections exposed to outdoor air or installed near fresh-air intakes. G90 galvanized sheet performs well inside the building, but aluminium is the better choice where duct is in continuous contact with Jeddah's humid, salt-laden air. The site survey determines the right material for each section.

Our factory is very large, how do you fabricate duct covering the whole space?

We measure the factory precisely and map duct from the outdoor unit with robust branches to different cooling zones, then fabricate large-diameter round or rectangular duct.

Large duct needs strong supports, do you help with installation?

We fabricate duct at the calculated gauge and diameter, and provide a clear hanging map with support locations and required metal angles.

Our factory has extreme heat, does the duct withstand high temperatures?

We use G90 galvanized for strength and resistance, and recommend adding a humidifier or extra cooling based on the factory's temperature level.

The warehouse needs both ventilation and cooling, how do you combine them?

We integrate ventilation and cooling duct in one system with separate branches, based on the warehouse's needs and stored products.
