Who needs workshop-fabricated duct?

  1. 1

    A contractor with project-specific sizes

Your project has non-standard sizes or volumes too large for site cutting. We fabricate rectangular and round sections from your drawings at exact dimensions, labelled and ready to hang when they reach the site.

  2. 2

Fittings too awkward to cut on site

Elbows, transitions, offsets and takeoffs come out distorted when cut by hand on site, leaking air and creating noise in the line. We make them in the workshop at the right dimensions with tight seams.

  3. 3

Extending or renovating an existing duct network

You need new branches, a damaged section replaced or a fitting that matches an old duct size. We measure the existing network on site and fabricate the pieces to match what is already there.

Who it's for

  • Building a facility that needs non-standard duct sizes

We read your project drawings and fabricate all sections and fittings at exact dimensions from G90 or aluminium sheet, labelled and ready to hang the moment they reach your site.

  • Renovating home AC and need fittings to match old duct

We measure the existing ductwork in your home and fabricate the branches, transitions and elbows needed to match the original duct without replacing the whole network.

How we work

How we work

  1. 1

    Take measurements

A technician visits the site or you send us the drawings; we list every duct section needed, its size and the correct sheet thickness for that section.

  2. 2

    Fabricate sections and fittings

We cut, form and lock the sheet in the workshop, including all elbows, transitions, offsets and takeoffs, and each section comes out at its exact dimension.

  3. 3

    Label and prepare for delivery

We number every section and fitting against the assembly plan so the installation crew knows exactly where each piece goes, with no guessing on site.

  4. 4

    Deliver to site

We deliver the duct to your Jeddah site protected and ready to hang. If you need an installation crew, we can arrange that as a separate step.

Some of our work

Ductwork, rooftop units and diffusers, from work we've completed in Jeddah.

  • Galvanized rectangular duct trunk with branch takeoffs and round diffusers, hung from a black ceiling, a Carrier unit visible behind — interior finishing stage.
  • Round diffusers and a spiral duct trunk in a tiled stairwell service shaft.
  • Rooftop ductwork and an exhaust fan, with Jeddah buildings in the background.
  • Rooftop packaged AC units with rectangular duct transitions, city buildings behind.
  • Insulated rooftop duct run beside a packaged unit, a warehouse roof in the background.
  • A grid of round diffusers in an open-plan office ceiling, mid-construction.
  • An insulated rooftop duct elbow, against a mountainous backdrop.
  • Large insulated ductwork running along a factory ceiling, with workers visible below.
  • A yellow round diffuser mid-installation, with spiral duct and a suspended ceiling grid.
  • Duct insulation wrap in progress on a construction site, bare duct still exposed.
  • A black-painted duct trunk with round diffusers and track lighting, in a finished retail interior.

What sets this district apart

Madinat Al Sultan mixes small and medium industries with distribution warehouses, and cooling needs vary by site due to different activities and floor areas. Some sites may need simple straight duct, others need complex branches and sharp bends. On-site cutting is inefficient with this variety, but workshop fabrication gives flexibility and precise fit to each factory or warehouse's needs.

Madinat Al Sultan in south Jeddah is a mixed industrial zone with diverse small and medium factories and distribution warehouses.

Industries in Madinat Al Sultan are diverse, so cooling systems range from small to medium central units with ductwork tailored to each case.

The AC setup in Madinat Al Sultan

  1. 1

Small to medium central duct systems

Small and medium industries here need central cooling from simple to moderately complex, with duct sized to the site.

  2. 2

Flexible branches to match each site's needs

Each site may need different branches to match production or storage layout, and we fabricate them precisely to your specific needs.

  3. 3

Flat duct for low ceilings and tight spaces

Many warehouses in the area have low ceilings or tight spaces, so we assess each case and fabricate duct that fits the site constraints.

Before the visit

Before our visit in Madinat Al Sultan

  1. 1

Provide site measurements and available space

Measure the site, ceiling heights, passages and available space for the duct before the visit so we design the right system.

  2. 2

Confirm central unit and branch locations

Clearly specify where the central unit will be and where you want branches and outlets.

  3. 3

Discuss future needs and potential expansion

Tell us if you plan to expand or change use later, so we design a system that can grow with you.

FAQ

Questions about Duct fabrication

Can you fabricate from drawings without visiting the site?

Yes, when the drawings are clear and carry the actual as-built dimensions. If a dimension is uncertain or a field change has been made, we prefer a site visit to avoid a fabricated piece that does not fit. We discuss the better approach with you before starting work.

What is the difference between galvanized and aluminium sheet for duct?

G90 galvanized sheet is the standard choice for interior duct: strong and suited to a range of pressures. Aluminium is lighter and handles Jeddah's coastal humidity and salt air better, making it right for some exposed applications or where structural load is a limiting factor. The correct choice depends on the site.

Can you make elbows and transitions to match an existing duct network?

Yes. We measure the existing network on site to match sizes precisely, whether you need a new branch added, a damaged fitting replaced or an extension tied into the original ductwork. The right approach is confirmed after the site visit.

How do you choose sheet thickness for each section?

Thickness follows section size: a large duct needs heavier sheet to hold its shape under pressure, a small one can use lighter material. We apply the SMACNA requirements to each section in the project individually, not a single thickness across the whole job.

Does Jeddah's humidity and salt air affect which sheet material to use?

Yes, particularly for sections exposed to outdoor air or installed near fresh-air intakes. G90 galvanized sheet performs well inside the building, but aluminium is the better choice where duct is in continuous contact with Jeddah's humid, salt-laden air. The site survey determines the right material for each section.

Our factory is small, do you fabricate economical duct for small spaces?

Yes, we fabricate duct systems for any size, from small to large, to suit your needs and budget, without compromising quality or precision.

Our warehouse is divided into different sections, how do you cool each section?

We fabricate separate branches for each section as you need, allowing independent airflow control to each area if required.

Space is tight and ceilings might be low in places, does this affect the duct?

We fabricate flat or rectangular duct that adapts to low ceilings and tight spaces, maintaining reliable cooling performance.

Can you modify the duct later if we expand operations?

Pre-fabrication makes future additions or changes easy, so we can add new branches or expand the duct to match your growth without rebuilding.
