When does a factory need a specialist system?

  1. 1

    Machine heat exhausting the workers

Compressors, motors and furnaces push out steady heat that scattered split units cannot handle. We assess every heat source on site and design a system that removes that heat and delivers cooled air precisely where people work.

  2. 2

A high roof that traps hot air

Hot air rises and collects under the roof while workers suffer at floor level. Evaporator positions, airflow angles and unit sizing all depend on the ceiling height and building shape, and the site survey decides each of these.

  3. 3

    Production dust destroying equipment

In wood, metal and plastic factories, coarse dust enters units and damages compressors and coils. We select equipment suited to industrial environments and design air paths that separate cooling air from contaminated process air wherever possible.

Who it's for

  • Building a new factory that needs HVAC

We join at design stage to fix unit positions, duct routes and extraction before the roof is cast and machines are installed, so the system is built into the structure from the start.

How we work

How we work

  1. 1

    Industrial site survey

Our team visits the factory during operation to measure actual heat from machines, map worker zones and critical processes, record ceiling heights and identify possible duct routes.

  2. 2

    System design

We design central plant, distributed units or a combination to suit the factory, and fix the positions of extraction and ventilation units, duct sizes and damper locations before you approve the work.

  3. 3

    Fabrication and installation

We fabricate duct in our own workshop from G90 galvanised or aluminium sheet to SMACNA standards, run Mueller copper in runs of up to 30 metres without welded joints, mount units and insulate pipework with Armaflex and Kimmco materials.

  4. 4

    Commissioning and scheduled maintenance

We commission the system, check airflow distribution, refrigerant pressure and damper balance, then set up a preventive and corrective maintenance contract timed to fit around your production shifts.

Some of our work

Ductwork, rooftop units and diffusers, from work we've completed in Jeddah.

  • Galvanized rectangular duct trunk with branch takeoffs and round diffusers, hung from a black ceiling, a Carrier unit visible behind — interior finishing stage.
  • Round diffusers and a spiral duct trunk in a tiled stairwell service shaft.
  • Rooftop ductwork and an exhaust fan, with Jeddah buildings in the background.
  • Rooftop packaged AC units with rectangular duct transitions, city buildings behind.
  • Insulated rooftop duct run beside a packaged unit, a warehouse roof in the background.
  • A grid of round diffusers in an open-plan office ceiling, mid-construction.
  • An insulated rooftop duct elbow, against a mountainous backdrop.
  • Large insulated ductwork running along a factory ceiling, with workers visible below.
  • A yellow round diffuser mid-installation, with spiral duct and a suspended ceiling grid.
  • Duct insulation wrap in progress on a construction site, bare duct still exposed.
  • A black-painted duct trunk with round diffusers and track lighting, in a finished retail interior.

Service areas

We come to you anywhere in Jeddah

From Al Shiraa and Al Yaqout in the north to Al Thaghr and Al Quraiyat in the south, with our base in Al Aziziyah.

Don't see your district?Message us. We most likely cover it.

What sets this district apart

Al Fayhaa is a logistics and commercial zone with large warehouses, storage areas and light repair workshops, with simple-build structures, very high ceilings and wide floor depths. Heat comes from direct sun on roofs and external walls, and workers operate in very warm conditions especially in summer. Adequate ventilation is essential for worker comfort and inventory protection, and outdoor-unit installation is relatively straightforward but requires adequate electrical power from potentially limited electrical systems.

Al Fayhaa is in Jeddah's central industrial zone, a wide logistics and commercial district with vast warehouses and very high ceilings.

Most warehouses here need powerful distributed cooling units to cover large volumes and high heights, with strong fans to distribute cold air horizontally and vertically.

The AC setup in Al Fayhaa

  1. 1

Distributed cooling units with powerful fans

Large warehouses need multiple cooling units strategically distributed with powerful fans to pull and push cold air across vast spaces and high ceilings.

  2. 2

    Natural ventilation with ceiling fans

Powerful ceiling fans help distribute cold air and improve natural air circulation, reducing reliance on heavy cooling and saving energy.

  3. 3

Electrical monitoring and robust power infrastructure

Powerful cooling units require reliable power supply and separate circuits. We recommend comprehensive electrical checks and may suggest upgrades to ensure safe and stable operation.

Before the visit

Before our visit in Al Fayhaa

  1. 1

Provide warehouse dimensions and actual ceiling height

Send total dimensions (length, width, height) and locations of sub-storage areas and equipment so we calculate thermal load accurately and distribute units efficiently.

  2. 2

Check the electrical distribution panel beforehand

Locate the main electrical panel and check its capacity and wire age, then tell us of any known electrical issues so we assess if upgrades are needed.

  3. 3

Ensure outdoor-unit installation access is clear

Verify that safe space is available on roofs or external walls for mounting outdoor units, and check that access routes to the roof are clear of obstacles.

FAQ

Questions about Factory HVAC

Can you cool just the worker zones without cooling the whole factory?

Yes, and we do it often. We design spot cooling for workstations or worker walkways using independent units or directed duct runs, rather than trying to cool the entire building volume. The right approach depends on the site and the process, and the survey decides it.

How do you handle heavy industrial dust in Jeddah?

We select units with a protection rating suited to the industrial environment and route airflow away from dust sources where the layout allows. In scheduled maintenance we inspect and clean coils, compressors and filters before deposits build up and affect unit performance.

Do you fabricate the large ducts a factory needs?

Yes, in our own workshop we fabricate round and rectangular duct to any size the design calls for, from G90 galvanised or aluminium sheet to SMACNA standards, including plenums, transitions and dampers needed to control air distribution.

Can you do maintenance between production shifts?

Yes, when we set up the preventive maintenance contract we agree times that fit your production schedule, whether between shifts or on rest days. The aim is that production lines are never stopped because of maintenance work.

What is the difference between process ventilation and worker-zone air conditioning?

Process ventilation targets heat and fumes produced by machinery and production lines, using exhaust fans and calculated fresh-air inlets sized to the heat load at each source. Worker-zone air conditioning aims to maintain a tolerable temperature at floor level without cooling the full volume of the building. A site survey of each factory decides which approach fits each area.

How many cooling units does a very large warehouse need?

The number depends on warehouse size, ceiling height and heat from sun and equipment. We conduct a technical survey to measure thermal load, then recommend the number of units and fans needed to cover the space efficiently.

Does intense heat from warehouse roofs affect worker comfort in summer?

Yes, simple roofs absorb heat quickly. We select high-capacity cooling units and recommend adding powerful ceiling fans to distribute cold air and improve air circulation between levels.

Electrical systems in older warehouses may be weak, does it affect installing powerful units?

Yes, powerful cooling units need strong power supply. We check the electrical distribution panel first and may recommend upgrading wiring or adding new circuits to ensure safe system operation.

Can we easily clean filters in a massive warehouse?

We design units for easy filter access and cleaning. We recommend monthly inspection and replacement as needed, and you can arrange a regular maintenance contract with us to avoid cooling disruptions.
