When your commercial fridge needs attention

  1. 1

    Temperature creeping up slowly

The fridge runs but no longer reaches its old temperature. In Jeddah's hot kitchens, grease builds on the condenser quickly, robbing it of the ability to shed heat and straining the compressor. We check the blockage on site and decide what is needed.

  2. 2

    Condenser fan stopped or slowed

The condenser fan draws air across the condensing coil. When it stops or slows, heat rises fast and the compressor cuts out on its thermal protector. We test the motor and the run capacitor and replace what has failed as part of the repair.

  3. 3

    Door gasket not sealing properly

A cracked or burned gasket lets warm, humid kitchen air in constantly. The result is a compressor that never rests, condensation forming inside the cabinet and an unstable temperature. We measure the existing gasket and replace it with the right size for that door.

How we work

How we work

  1. 1

    Describe the fault

WhatsApp us the make, model and the fault you see, plus your district, so the technician arrives with the right tools and likely parts.

  2. 2

    On-site diagnosis

We check the condenser, fan, gaskets and refrigerant pressure on site and identify the real cause before starting any repair.

  3. 3

    Repair and clean

We clean the condenser of grease and dust, replace the faulty part and top up refrigerant if needed, all while keeping disruption to your work as short as possible.

  4. 4

    Temperature check and handover

After the repair we let the fridge run and measure the cabinet temperature until it reaches the correct range, then hand the unit back to you.

What sets this district apart

Al Dahiyah is a broad southern district with varied development: small villas next to trading areas, grocery shops, vegetable stalls and small local markets. Fridges here run under constant pressure because shops serve large numbers of residents and visitors all day. The fierce southern heat and high coastal humidity mean grease and dirt clog the condenser much faster than in northern areas, and the fan and gaskets wear faster. Regular maintenance here is not a choice but a necessity.

Al Dahiyah is in south Jeddah, a broad area with mixed development of villas and small commercial shops.

Fridges here vary: from small upright units in corner shops to larger units in local markets, with the external condenser in a yard or on an outer wall.

The AC setup in Al Dahiyah

  1. 1

    Upright fridges in corner shops

Corner shops and small stores in Al Dahiyah use medium-capacity upright fridges suited to limited space.

  2. 2

Display fridges in larger local markets

Larger local markets place multiple transparent display fridges for drinks, dairy and seafood sales.

  3. 3

Storage fridges in larger shops' back rooms

Some larger shops place a storage fridge in the back room to hold bulk drinks and chilled products.

FAQ

Questions about Commercial fridge service

My kitchen fridge runs all the time but does not cool enough. What is wrong?

In most cases the condenser is blocked with grease and dust, which is common in Jeddah kitchens where steam and smoke build up fast. A worn door gasket letting warm kitchen air in constantly is another likely cause. We check both on site and tell you which is the problem, or whether both need attention.

Do you service prep counters and under-counter fridges as well?

Yes, our service covers upright fridges, prep counters, under-counter units and bottle coolers in restaurants, bakeries and groceries. We ask for the model in advance so the technician arrives with the right tools and parts for that unit's size and type.

How does Jeddah's humidity affect kitchen fridges?

Warm, humid air enters through any worn gasket and condenses inside the cabinet, raising the load on the compressor and speeding gasket wear. Salt in Jeddah's sea air also corrodes condenser parts over time. That is why we check gaskets and the condenser condition carefully at every service visit.

Can the fridge be repaired without shutting the kitchen down?

For most repairs, yes. Cleaning the condenser and replacing a fan motor or gasket takes the fridge out of service for a short time only. If the repair needs the refrigerant recovered and recharged we tell you the expected time beforehand so you can prepare your stock.

Why does water keep collecting inside my kitchen fridge?

The most common cause is a worn door gasket letting humid kitchen air in, which then condenses on the walls and shelves. A blocked defrost drain at the base of the unit is another frequent cause. We check the gaskets and the drain line on site and identify the problem before starting any repair.

Every year my shop fridge gets slower at cooling, what is happening?

Intense heat and humidity speed up grease build-up on the condenser and wear on metal parts. We recommend cleaning the condenser every month or two, and replacing seals every one to two years.

My shop's front yard narrows sometimes, can you reach the condenser?

We check the space beforehand. If the yard narrows seasonally or temporarily, we ask you to shift any obstacle briefly so we can work safely.

Does the coastal salt air affect the outdoor cooling unit?

Yes, salt and moisture speed up rust on the condenser, fans and copper wiring. We regularly check metal parts and remove rust if found.

How many times a year should I service the fridge?

In Al Dahiyah, because of the intense heat and humidity, we recommend a full service every two to three months. Send a photo on WhatsApp for an assessment and the best schedule.
