When your commercial fridge needs attention

  1. 1

    Temperature creeping up slowly

The fridge runs but no longer reaches its old temperature. In Jeddah's hot kitchens, grease builds on the condenser quickly, robbing it of the ability to shed heat and straining the compressor. We check the blockage on site and decide what is needed.

  2. 2

    Condenser fan stopped or slowed

The condenser fan draws air across the condensing coil. When it stops or slows, heat rises fast and the compressor cuts out on its thermal protector. We test the motor and the run capacitor and replace what has failed as part of the repair.

  3. 3

    Door gasket not sealing properly

A cracked or burned gasket lets warm, humid kitchen air in constantly. The result is a compressor that never rests, condensation forming inside the cabinet and an unstable temperature. We measure the existing gasket and replace it with the right size for that door.

What sets this district apart

Al Marwah is a mixed commercial zone with food shops, cafés and small restaurants scattered among residential buildings and offices, often squeezed into tight spaces within shopping malls or directly on the street. Rear space is severely limited, so outdoor units are often mounted on crowded exterior walls or in basic shared yards. Summer heat and humidity speed up grease buildup on the condenser.

Al Marwah sits in central Jeddah, a dense mixed commercial zone with small to medium food retailers.

Most display fridges here are small to medium independent units, with the outdoor unit mounted directly on the shop's exterior wall.

FAQ

Questions about Commercial fridge service

My kitchen fridge runs all the time but does not cool enough. What is wrong?

In most cases the condenser is blocked with grease and dust, which is common in Jeddah kitchens where steam and smoke build up fast. A worn door gasket letting warm kitchen air in constantly is another likely cause. We check both on site and tell you which is the problem, or whether both need attention.

Do you service prep counters and under-counter fridges as well?

Yes, our service covers upright fridges, prep counters, under-counter units and bottle coolers in restaurants, bakeries and groceries. We ask for the model in advance so the technician arrives with the right tools and parts for that unit's size and type.

How does Jeddah's humidity affect kitchen fridges?

Warm, humid air enters through any worn gasket and condenses inside the cabinet, raising the load on the compressor and speeding gasket wear. Salt in Jeddah's sea air also corrodes condenser parts over time. That is why we check gaskets and the condenser condition carefully at every service visit.

Can the fridge be repaired without shutting the kitchen down?

For most repairs, yes. Cleaning the condenser and replacing a fan motor or gasket takes the fridge out of service for a short time only. If the repair needs the refrigerant recovered and recharged we tell you the expected time beforehand so you can prepare your stock.

Why does water keep collecting inside my kitchen fridge?

The most common cause is a worn door gasket letting humid kitchen air in, which then condenses on the walls and shelves. A blocked defrost drain at the base of the unit is another frequent cause. We check the gaskets and the drain line on site and identify the problem before starting any repair.

My shop is small with very limited outdoor space, how do you mount the unit?

We mount it on a safe exterior wall or small balcony. We assess the space on the first visit and arrange installation based on what is available.

The fridge sits in a small café where the condenser gets dirty fast from steam?

Coffee and tea steam deposits residue on the condenser quickly. We inspect and clean it every month or two to keep cooling working.

The street outside my shop is busy, can the team access the outdoor unit easily?

We schedule at quieter times and need your permission to enter and access the outdoor unit.

The fridge temperature won't drop enough, what causes it?

It could be a weak fan, gas leak or grease on the condenser. A full inspection identifies the real cause.
