When your commercial fridge needs attention

  1. 1

    Temperature creeping up slowly

The fridge runs but no longer reaches its old temperature. In Jeddah's hot kitchens, grease builds on the condenser quickly, robbing it of the ability to shed heat and straining the compressor. We check the blockage on site and decide what is needed.

  2. 2

    Condenser fan stopped or slowed

The condenser fan draws air across the condensing coil. When it stops or slows, heat rises fast and the compressor cuts out on its thermal protector. We test the motor and the run capacitor and replace what has failed as part of the repair.

  3. 3

    Door gasket not sealing properly

A cracked or burned gasket lets warm, humid kitchen air in constantly. The result is a compressor that never rests, condensation forming inside the cabinet and an unstable temperature. We measure the existing gasket and replace it with the right size for that door.

How we work

How we work

  1. 1

    Describe the fault

WhatsApp us the make, model and the fault you see, plus your district, so the technician arrives with the right tools and likely parts.

  2. 2

    On-site diagnosis

We check the condenser, fan, gaskets and refrigerant pressure on site and identify the real cause before starting any repair.

  3. 3

    Repair and clean

We clean the condenser of grease and dust, replace the faulty part and top up refrigerant if needed, all while keeping disruption to your work as short as possible.

  4. 4

    Temperature check and handover

After the repair we let the fridge run and measure the cabinet temperature until it reaches the correct range, then hand the unit back to you.

What sets this district apart

Khaleej Salman is a relatively new commercial area mixing shops, hotels and restaurants with rapid business growth. The coastal setting and high humidity increase moisture buildup inside units and speed up seal and copper-line corrosion. Every fridge here runs under heavy daily use, making preventive maintenance essential to avoid sudden cooling failure.

Khaleej Salman lies directly on Jeddah's northern coast, a growing commercial area mixing hotels and residential blocks.

Most hotels and restaurants here run large commercial display units and separate cold rooms to store large volumes.

The AC setup in Khaleej Salman

  1. 1

    Large commercial display units

Large hotels and restaurants here rely on front-display units with heavy-duty compressors and high cooling capacity.

  2. 2

    Separate cold and freezer rooms

Alongside display units, hotels run separate cold rooms to store bulk food volumes, each needing independent servicing.

  3. 3

    Condensers mounted on high roofs

Most hotel condensers are mounted on high roofs away from daily traffic, but fully exposed to coastal salt and humidity.

FAQ

Questions about Commercial fridge service

My kitchen fridge runs all the time but does not cool enough. What is wrong?

In most cases the condenser is blocked with grease and dust, which is common in Jeddah kitchens where steam and smoke build up fast. A worn door gasket letting warm kitchen air in constantly is another likely cause. We check both on site and tell you which is the problem, or whether both need attention.

Do you service prep counters and under-counter fridges as well?

Yes, our service covers upright fridges, prep counters, under-counter units and bottle coolers in restaurants, bakeries and groceries. We ask for the model in advance so the technician arrives with the right tools and parts for that unit's size and type.

How does Jeddah's humidity affect kitchen fridges?

Warm, humid air enters through any worn gasket and condenses inside the cabinet, raising the load on the compressor and speeding gasket wear. Salt in Jeddah's sea air also corrodes condenser parts over time. That is why we check gaskets and the condenser condition carefully at every service visit.

Can the fridge be repaired without shutting the kitchen down?

For most repairs, yes. Cleaning the condenser and replacing a fan motor or gasket takes the fridge out of service for a short time only. If the repair needs the refrigerant recovered and recharged we tell you the expected time beforehand so you can prepare your stock.

Why does water keep collecting inside my kitchen fridge?

The most common cause is a worn door gasket letting humid kitchen air in, which then condenses on the walls and shelves. A blocked defrost drain at the base of the unit is another frequent cause. We check the gaskets and the drain line on site and identify the problem before starting any repair.

Our hotel in Khaleej Salman has many fridges, do you handle comprehensive maintenance?

Yes, we offer service contracts covering regular inspection, condenser and seal cleaning, and compressor checks for multiple units. We discuss the details at consultation.

Does Khaleej Salman's high humidity cause specific fridge problems?

Yes, coastal humidity drives mould growth on seals, tubes and nozzles. Regular cleaning and proper ventilation reduce the issue.

Hotel fridges need longer service times, how long does it take?

It depends on the number of units and issues found. We recommend scheduling early morning before peak hours to avoid disrupting service.

Do large hotel fridges need more spare parts than smaller units?

Larger units need more powerful compressors, longer copper lines and heavier-duty seals. Failures vary, so we recommend regular inspections.
