When your commercial fridge needs attention

  1. 1

    Temperature creeping up slowly

The fridge runs but no longer reaches its old temperature. In Jeddah's hot kitchens, grease builds on the condenser quickly, robbing it of the ability to shed heat and straining the compressor. We check the blockage on site and decide what is needed.

  2. 2

    Condenser fan stopped or slowed

The condenser fan draws air across the condensing coil. When it stops or slows, heat rises fast and the compressor cuts out on its thermal protector. We test the motor and the run capacitor and replace what has failed as part of the repair.

  3. 3

    Door gasket not sealing properly

A cracked or burned gasket lets warm, humid kitchen air in constantly. The result is a compressor that never rests, condensation forming inside the cabinet and an unstable temperature. We measure the existing gasket and replace it with the right size for that door.

WhatsApp us the make, model and the fault you see, plus your district, so the technician arrives with the right tools and likely parts.

  2. 2

    On-site diagnosis

We check the condenser, fan, gaskets and refrigerant pressure on site and identify the real cause before starting any repair.

  3. 3

    Repair and clean

We clean the condenser of grease and dust, replace the faulty part and top up refrigerant if needed, all while keeping disruption to your work as short as possible.

  4. 4

    Temperature check and handover

After the repair we let the fridge run and measure the cabinet temperature until it reaches the correct range, then hand the unit back to you.

What sets this district apart

Obaid is a fast-growing area with many food shops, restaurants and cafés, most in modern buildings or small shopping centres. Fridges here work at high intensity and cooking grease and oil quickly choke the condensers, needing more frequent maintenance. Our team inspects the condenser, fans and door gaskets to ensure no cold air escape and stable temperature.

Obaid lies in south Jeddah, an emerging commercial area with food shops, restaurants and cafés in modern buildings.

Most fridges here are independent display units and separate storage coolers, connected by direct, straightforward refrigerant lines.

The AC setup in Obaid

  1. 1

    Separate display coolers for shops

Most Obaid shops use independent display coolers for each product type, connected to one or more cooling units.

  2. 2

    Rear storage coolers

Larger shops and restaurants have separate storage coolers in the kitchen or back room, away from customers.

  3. 3

    Simple and direct refrigerant lines

Modern buildings in Obaid allow straightforward refrigerant lines from the outdoor unit to the coolers without complex bends.

Before the visit

The outdoor unit may be on the roof or in a back yard, confirm the team can reach it safely.

  3. 3

Prepare photos of the cooler and current temperature

Send a photo of the cooler and its current temperature reading over WhatsApp before the visit, helping us prepare the right tools.

FAQ

Questions about Commercial fridge service

My kitchen fridge runs all the time but does not cool enough. What is wrong?

In most cases the condenser is blocked with grease and dust, which is common in Jeddah kitchens where steam and smoke build up fast. A worn door gasket letting warm kitchen air in constantly is another likely cause. We check both on site and tell you which is the problem, or whether both need attention.

Do you service prep counters and under-counter fridges as well?

Yes, our service covers upright fridges, prep counters, under-counter units and bottle coolers in restaurants, bakeries and groceries. We ask for the model in advance so the technician arrives with the right tools and parts for that unit's size and type.

How does Jeddah's humidity affect kitchen fridges?

Warm, humid air enters through any worn gasket and condenses inside the cabinet, raising the load on the compressor and speeding gasket wear. Salt in Jeddah's sea air also corrodes condenser parts over time. That is why we check gaskets and the condenser condition carefully at every service visit.

Can the fridge be repaired without shutting the kitchen down?

For most repairs, yes. Cleaning the condenser and replacing a fan motor or gasket takes the fridge out of service for a short time only. If the repair needs the refrigerant recovered and recharged we tell you the expected time beforehand so you can prepare your stock.

Why does water keep collecting inside my kitchen fridge?

The most common cause is a worn door gasket letting humid kitchen air in, which then condenses on the walls and shelves. A blocked defrost drain at the base of the unit is another frequent cause. We check the gaskets and the drain line on site and identify the problem before starting any repair.

Our fridge loses temperature every week, how do you solve this?

We inspect the condenser, fans and door gaskets, since weakness in any of them causes slow cold air escape. We clean grease from the condenser and ensure the door seals tight.

My shop is busy with customers, can you fix the fridge during working hours?

Yes, we agree a time that suits you. Some repairs take only a few hours, and we coordinate to avoid shutting you down entirely.

The heat here is very high, does it affect the fridge's efficiency?

Yes, high outdoor heat increases the condenser's load, and grease buildup compounds it. We keep the condenser clean to handle the extra strain.

The fridge has long copper lines, does this affect cooling?

Long lines may cause slight cooling loss if not properly insulated. We check the insulation and connections to ensure minimum loss.
