When you need a proper installer

  1. 1

A new unit for a room or flat

You have bought the unit, or are about to, and want it fitted once, not to find a refrigerant leak or water on the floor a few weeks later. Getting it right first time saves you all of that.

  2. 2

Not sure where the outdoor unit goes

In Jeddah flats the choice is usually the roof, the balcony or the facade. We pick a spot where the condenser gets enough air, a technician can reach it for servicing, and neither noise nor drain water bothers the neighbours.

  3. 3

A past install that went wrong

Weak cooling since day one, water running down the wall, a loud indoor unit. These are usually installation mistakes, not faults in the unit, and our installation is built step by step to avoid them.

Who it's for

  • Moving into a new flat that needs AC

We plan every unit position and copper route in one go, so the whole flat ends up neat and consistent.

    Ask on WhatsApp
  • Fitting AC in a shop or office

We place the units so cool air reaches the entrance and the work area, and arrange outdoor units and drains to suit the shopfront and the building's rules.

How we work

How we work

  1. 1

    Send a photo

WhatsApp us a photo of the room, where the outdoor unit might go and your district, and we tell you what the job needs before the visit.

  2. 2

    Agree positions and route

On site, the technician agrees the unit positions and the copper and drain route with you before drilling any wall.

  3. 3

    Fit and vacuum

We mount both units, run and insulate the copper, then vacuum the line with a pump and check the joints before releasing the refrigerant held in the outdoor unit.

  4. 4

    Start-up and handover

We run the unit, measure the air coming out, check the drain flows, then leave the room clean and show you the remote and how to clean the filter.

Some of our work

Ductwork, rooftop units and diffusers, from work we've completed in Jeddah.

  • Galvanized rectangular duct trunk with branch takeoffs and round diffusers, hung from a black ceiling, a Carrier unit visible behind — interior finishing stage.
  • Round diffusers and a spiral duct trunk in a tiled stairwell service shaft.
  • Rooftop ductwork and an exhaust fan, with Jeddah buildings in the background.
  • Rooftop packaged AC units with rectangular duct transitions, city buildings behind.
  • Insulated rooftop duct run beside a packaged unit, a warehouse roof in the background.
  • A grid of round diffusers in an open-plan office ceiling, mid-construction.
  • An insulated rooftop duct elbow, against a mountainous backdrop.
  • Large insulated ductwork running along a factory ceiling, with workers visible below.
  • A yellow round diffuser mid-installation, with spiral duct and a suspended ceiling grid.
  • Duct insulation wrap in progress on a construction site, bare duct still exposed.
  • A black-painted duct trunk with round diffusers and track lighting, in a finished retail interior.

What sets this district apart

Al Hafnah is a mixed-use district in east Jeddah, blending mid-range and modern villas, residential blocks, and light commercial shops and small offices. Balanced development means a mix of older and newer buildings, so installations need flexible approach. Some older structures may need deeper engineering study for pipe routing, while modern units have known technical voids. Villas and blocks offer multiple outdoor sites, main streets are wide but some side streets can be narrow. Temperatures are moderate and summer humidity is limited compared to the seafront.

Al Hafnah is in east Jeddah, a mixed-use area blending modern villas, residential blocks, and light commercial shops.

Independent splits are standard per unit, though some small shops may use older window or through-wall units.

The AC setup in Al Hafnah

  1. 1

Independent split per residential or commercial unit

Most residential units and small commercial spaces have their own independent split system.

  2. 2

Window or through-wall units in some older shops

Some older commercial shops may still use window or through-wall units instead of split systems.

  3. 3

Varied outdoor placement based on building type

Villas offer multiple wall and roof options, while blocks rely on shared roofs and corners.

Before the visit

Before our visit in Al Hafnah

  1. 1

Choose the right outdoor unit location

In mixed residential buildings, discuss with us the best outdoor-unit location based on your unit type (villa or flat) and position.

  2. 2

Identify a safe parking spot for equipment

Especially if you are on a narrow side street, identify the nearest safe parking spot from your building entrance.

  3. 3

    Confirm access to outdoor areas

Check that the building's roofs and outdoor spaces are safe and accessible for the team before the visit day.

FAQ

Questions about Split AC installation

Will you install a unit I bought elsewhere?

Yes, we install units you have bought yourself. Before the visit we ask the model, its capacity and where both units will go, so we know the copper length. If you have not bought one yet, we are an authorised distributor for Carrier, YORK, General, Midea, Gree and Smart Gold and can help you choose.

Why does the line need vacuuming before start-up?

New pipes hold air and moisture, and Jeddah's humid air adds more. Mixed with refrigerant, they weaken cooling and strain the compressor over time. We pull them out with a vacuum pump, watch that the reading holds so we know the line is tight, and only then release the refrigerant.

Can the outdoor unit be far from the room?

Yes, within the manufacturer's limits for line length and height difference. We use Mueller copper in runs of up to 30 metres without welded joints, so there are fewer joints that could leak, and the survey shows whether a long run needs extra refrigerant.

Can you hide the copper and cables in the wall?

It depends on the house. In a new build or during finishing works, the copper can run inside the wall before plastering. In a lived-in home we use neat plastic trunking in the wall colour. We show you the better option for your home at the survey, before any work starts.

What if the outside wall cannot carry the unit?

We check the wall before fixing anything, because some facades are clad in stone or panels that cannot take the weight. Then we set the unit on a floor stand on the roof or balcony, or on a bracket anchored to the concrete itself, not the cladding, so it does not shake loose.

I live in a residential block in Al Hafnah, how do you choose the outdoor unit location among multiple units?

We visit the building first and inspect the roofs, walls, and technical spaces. We choose a safe, easy-to-maintain location and balance the needs of different units if they share one.

Some side streets are narrow, how do you bring the equipment in?

We ask you for the nearest safe parking beforehand, and the team carries tools from there. We usually find a practical solution with neighbours.

My building is a mix of old and new sections, does that affect the pipe routing?

Yes, mixed buildings need careful field assessment. We inspect the voids and divisions and choose a safe path avoiding load-bearing walls and old wiring.

There are small commercial shops here, can you install AC units for them?

Yes, we install units for shops and small offices. They may need an independent split or window unit depending on size and location. We visit and recommend the best fit.
