When you need a proper installer

  1. 1

A new unit for a room or flat

You have bought the unit, or are about to, and want it fitted once, not to find a refrigerant leak or water on the floor a few weeks later. Getting it right first time saves you all of that.

  2. 2

Not sure where the outdoor unit goes

In Jeddah flats the choice is usually the roof, the balcony or the facade. We pick a spot where the condenser gets enough air, a technician can reach it for servicing, and neither noise nor drain water bothers the neighbours.

  3. 3

A past install that went wrong

Weak cooling since day one, water running down the wall, a loud indoor unit. These are usually installation mistakes, not faults in the unit, and our installation is built step by step to avoid them.

Who it's for

  • Moving into a new flat that needs AC

We plan every unit position and copper route in one go, so the whole flat ends up neat and consistent.

    Ask on WhatsApp
  • Fitting AC in a shop or office

We place the units so cool air reaches the entrance and the work area, and arrange outdoor units and drains to suit the shopfront and the building's rules.

How we work

How we work

  1. 1

    Send a photo

WhatsApp us a photo of the room, where the outdoor unit might go and your district, and we tell you what the job needs before the visit.

  2. 2

    Agree positions and route

On site, the technician agrees the unit positions and the copper and drain route with you before drilling any wall.

  3. 3

    Fit and vacuum

We mount both units, run and insulate the copper, then vacuum the line with a pump and check the joints before releasing the refrigerant held in the outdoor unit.

  4. 4

    Start-up and handover

We run the unit, measure the air coming out, check the drain flows, then leave the room clean and show you the remote and how to clean the filter.

  • Round diffusers and a spiral duct trunk in a tiled stairwell service shaft.
  • Rooftop ductwork and an exhaust fan, with Jeddah buildings in the background.
  • Rooftop packaged AC units with rectangular duct transitions, city buildings behind.
  • Insulated rooftop duct run beside a packaged unit, a warehouse roof in the background.
  • A grid of round diffusers in an open-plan office ceiling, mid-construction.
  • An insulated rooftop duct elbow, against a mountainous backdrop.
  • Large insulated ductwork running along a factory ceiling, with workers visible below.
  • A yellow round diffuser mid-installation, with spiral duct and a suspended ceiling grid.

What sets this district apart

Al Manarat is a relatively new district with diverse modern buildings, from large villas to upmarket apartment blocks, laid out with orderly planning, wide streets and organised passages. The open spaces between buildings mean outdoor units can be sited away from main entrances without aesthetic impact. The hot, humid coastal climate calls for strong copper insulation and effective drainage to prevent condensation leaks on walls and floors.

Al Manarat sits in far north Jeddah, a high-quality modern residential area blending upmarket villas and apartment blocks on orderly planning with wide open spaces.

Upmarket villas in Al Manarat often need multiple split units, while apartment blocks rely on single or dual splits depending on flat size.

The AC setup in Al Manarat

  1. 1

Multiple splits for large upmarket villas

Upmarket villas in Al Manarat may need three or four split units distributed across different rooms and suites.

  2. 2

Single or dual split for apartment blocks

Upmarket apartment blocks here use single or dual splits depending on flat size and room count.

  3. 3

Outdoor units screened behind walls and side gardens

In villas, outdoor units can be sited in side or rear areas away from street view or front facade.

  2. 2

Agree with building management on installation conditions

In the apartment block, get management's approval on location and design before you book our visit.

In your villa, pick hidden or side locations for outdoor units, and ensure these spots are safe and accessible for servicing.

FAQ

Questions about Split AC installation

Will you install a unit I bought elsewhere?

Yes, we install units you have bought yourself. Before the visit we ask the model, its capacity and where both units will go, so we know the copper length. If you have not bought one yet, we are an authorised distributor for Carrier, YORK, General, Midea, Gree and Smart Gold and can help you choose.

Why does the line need vacuuming before start-up?

New pipes hold air and moisture, and Jeddah's humid air adds more. Mixed with refrigerant, they weaken cooling and strain the compressor over time. We pull them out with a vacuum pump, watch that the reading holds so we know the line is tight, and only then release the refrigerant.

Can the outdoor unit be far from the room?

Yes, within the manufacturer's limits for line length and height difference. We use Mueller copper in runs of up to 30 metres without welded joints, so there are fewer joints that could leak, and the survey shows whether a long run needs extra refrigerant.

Can you hide the copper and cables in the wall?

It depends on the house. In a new build or during finishing works, the copper can run inside the wall before plastering. In a lived-in home we use neat plastic trunking in the wall colour. We show you the better option for your home at the survey, before any work starts.

What if the outside wall cannot carry the unit?

We check the wall before fixing anything, because some facades are clad in stone or panels that cannot take the weight. Then we set the unit on a floor stand on the roof or balcony, or on a bracket anchored to the concrete itself, not the cladding, so it does not shake loose.

My villa is large and I may need several units, how do you choose outdoor unit locations?

We visit the villa to assess thermal loads for each zone, then identify the best outdoor locations that are balanced and as hidden from the front facade as possible.

Building management may impose conditions on the outdoor unit location, how do you handle that?

We contact management before installation to understand the requirements and ensure compliance. We select locations meeting both management conditions and thermal performance.

Al Manarat is humid and hot, does the new split's drainage handle high condensation?

Yes, coastal humidity increases condensation. We ensure drain pipes slope correctly and are connected securely to prevent water leaks on walls and floors.

Is the copper you use well insulated? The outdoor heat may affect cooling.

We use thick, high-quality insulation on copper, especially when the outdoor unit sits in direct sun at Al Manarat. This keeps cooling efficiency even in extreme heat.
