When you need a proper installer
- 1
A new unit for a room or flat
You have bought the unit, or are about to, and want it fitted once, not to find a refrigerant leak or water on the floor a few weeks later. Getting it right first time saves you all of that.
- 2
Not sure where the outdoor unit goes
In Jeddah flats the choice is usually the roof, the balcony or the facade. We pick a spot where the condenser gets enough air, a technician can reach it for servicing, and neither noise nor drain water bothers the neighbours.
- 3
A past install that went wrong
Weak cooling since day one, water running down the wall, a loud indoor unit. These are usually installation mistakes, not faults in the unit, and our installation is built step by step to avoid them.
Who it's for
Moving into a new flat that needs AC
We plan every unit position and copper route in one go, so the whole flat ends up neat and consistent.
Ask on WhatsAppFitting AC in a shop or office
We place the units so cool air reaches the entrance and the work area, and arrange outdoor units and drains to suit the shopfront and the building's rules.

What the installation covers
- Site check and unit positions
- Insulated copper, sealed wall core
- Drain line with correct fall
- Vacuum and leak test
- Start-up test with you present
How we work
How we work
- 1
Send a photo
WhatsApp us a photo of the room, where the outdoor unit might go and your district, and we tell you what the job needs before the visit.
- 2
Agree positions and route
On site, the technician agrees the unit positions and the copper and drain route with you before drilling any wall.
- 3
Fit and vacuum
We mount both units, run and insulate the copper, then vacuum the line with a pump and check the joints before releasing the refrigerant held in the outdoor unit.
- 4
Start-up and handover
We run the unit, measure the air coming out, check the drain flows, then leave the room clean and show you the remote and how to clean the filter.
A careful install or a rushed one?
| Alrabih | The usual way | |
|---|---|---|
| Vacuum | Pumped before start-up | Often skipped |
| Copper | Mueller, fully insulated | Patchy insulation |
| Drain | Falls, so no drips | Water down the wall |
| Outdoor unit spot | Airy and easy to reach | Wherever it fits |
| Wall opening | Sealed tight | Dust gets through |

What sets this district apart
Al Shati is a beachside district mixing luxury villas and residential or commercial blocks directly near the sea, meaning constant exposure to moisture, salt and strong winds. Installation here requires careful outdoor unit placement to limit salt air exposure, premium corrosion-resistant materials, and meticulous line evacuation because coastal humidity raises the risk of condensation and mould.
Al Shati is in north Jeddah directly on the Red Sea coast, a district of varied luxury villas and beachside residential and commercial blocks.
Outdoor units in Al Shati are usually placed on raised walls or distant balconies to limit direct moisture exposure, but salt corrosion remains a long-term challenge.
The AC setup in Al Shati
- 1
Outdoor units on protected, elevated positions
Al Shati requires placing units on high walls or distant balconies away from direct sea winds and salt spray.
- 2
Salt-resistant metal materials
All exterior metal components are coated or made from materials resistant to long-term salt corrosion.
- 3
Enhanced, moisture-insulated drainage
Drainage is installed with premium insulation and enhanced slope to prevent moisture pooling and mould in the lines.
Before the visit
Before our visit in Al Shati
- 1
Choose a wind-shielded location from salt winds
Before the visit, consider a side that has easy power access and is away from the exposed front sea-facing facade exposed to salt air.
- 2
Confirm wall or balcony mounting stability
Verify that the chosen wall or balcony is strong enough to bear the outdoor unit weight and strong winds.
- 3
Arrange a regular maintenance schedule in advance
In a salty coastal environment, it is best to agree on servicing every two to three months before installation.

FAQ
Questions about Split AC installation
Will you install a unit I bought elsewhere?
Yes, we install units you have bought yourself. Before the visit we ask the model, its capacity and where both units will go, so we know the copper length. If you have not bought one yet, we are an authorised distributor for Carrier, YORK, General, Midea, Gree and Smart Gold and can help you choose.
Why does the line need vacuuming before start-up?
New pipes hold air and moisture, and Jeddah's humid air adds more. Mixed with refrigerant, they weaken cooling and strain the compressor over time. We pull them out with a vacuum pump, watch that the reading holds so we know the line is tight, and only then release the refrigerant.
Can the outdoor unit be far from the room?
Yes, within the manufacturer's limits for line length and height difference. We use Mueller copper in runs of up to 30 metres without welded joints, so there are fewer joints that could leak, and the survey shows whether a long run needs extra refrigerant.
Can you hide the copper and cables in the wall?
It depends on the house. In a new build or during finishing works, the copper can run inside the wall before plastering. In a lived-in home we use neat plastic trunking in the wall colour. We show you the better option for your home at the survey, before any work starts.
What if the outside wall cannot carry the unit?
We check the wall before fixing anything, because some facades are clad in stone or panels that cannot take the weight. Then we set the unit on a floor stand on the roof or balcony, or on a bracket anchored to the concrete itself, not the cladding, so it does not shake loose.
Does salt corrosion shorten the unit's life?
Yes, salt air on Al Shati speeds corrosion, but using salt-resistant materials and regular servicing significantly extend unit life.
What is the best location for the outdoor unit in a beachside home?
We choose raised, wind-shielded locations such as a high side wall or protected balcony, away from the front sea-facing facade.
Does the intense coastal humidity affect cooling efficiency?
High humidity does reduce cooling efficiency somewhat, but thorough line evacuation and regular maintenance preserve optimal performance.
How often should the unit be serviced in a coastal environment?
We recommend servicing every two to three months rather than every six, to remove accumulated salt and moisture and maintain reliable performance.
