When to book a technician visit

  1. 1

AC that no longer cools properly

The unit runs but the air is barely cool, you hear knocking from the indoor head, or you find water on the wall. The technician brings pressure gauges and electrical test tools and finds the cause before starting any repair.

  2. 2

A fridge or cold room in your shop

The fridge does not hold temperature, or the compressor runs without cycling off. Stock loss starts before you notice the fault. The technician comes to your shop, checks the circuit and tells you the real condition of the unit.

  3. 3

A sudden fault with no obvious cause

The AC trips the breaker, runs without cooling, or gives off a smell. These symptoms can have different causes. The technician checks the board, compressor, capacitor and coil in the right order and explains what he finds.

Who it's for

  • Your AC keeps tripping the breaker and you need answers

The technician visits your home with electrical test tools, checks the board, capacitor and compressor in order, and explains the real cause before starting any repair.

How we work

How we work

  1. 1

    Describe the fault

WhatsApp the unit type and what you are seeing, such as a noise, no cooling or water, and your district, and we arrange the visit.

  2. 2

    On-site inspection

The technician arrives with pressure gauges and electrical test tools, inspects the unit in the correct sequence in front of you and does not start any work until the inspection is complete.

  3. 3

    Explain and agree next step

After the inspection the technician explains the real cause and what the repair needs, then starts work only after you agree on what will be done.

  4. 4

    Repair and run test

The technician carries out the agreed repair and runs the unit in front of you to confirm the fault is cleared and the unit is working properly before he leaves.

What sets this district apart

The North Corniche combines tall residential towers, hotels and luxury resorts facing the sea, each relying on powerful, continuous AC to withstand heavy use and high coastal humidity. Sea salt builds up quickly on evaporator and condenser coils, cutting cooling efficiency and accelerating corrosion, and the high-rise layout means outdoor units sit at various heights with exacting maintenance needs.

The North Corniche is an upmarket tourist and residential district on the Red Sea coast, with modern towers, hotels and resorts.

Most towers and hotels here run central AC systems or large chillers, and the outdoor units face salt spray directly.

The AC setup in North Corniche

  1. 1

Central AC systems in residential towers

Most tall towers here run a single central system serving multiple units, requiring regular servicing to maintain even air distribution across all floors.

  2. 2

Large chillers for hotels and resorts

Hotels and resorts on the Corniche rely on large chillers for centralised cooling, and these systems need specialist technicians to diagnose compressor and valve faults.

  3. 3

Multiple outdoor units at different roof levels

Tall towers often have outdoor units spread across multiple roof levels to reduce load, making servicing complex and access limited.

Before the visit

Before our visit in North Corniche

  1. 1

Tell us the unit number and floor clearly

In tall buildings, specify the unit number, floor and roof level of the outdoor unit so our team reaches you directly without delay.

  2. 2

    Arrange access with building management

Make sure building management or security knows the visit time and that the roof door or plant room is unlocked when the team arrives.

  3. 3

Test the unit before we arrive

Run the AC and test the cooling before the appointment, and tell us if there are strange noises or water leaks so the team arrives prepared.

FAQ

Questions about HVAC & refrigeration technician

What does the technician bring on the visit?

The technician brings pressure gauges to check the refrigeration cycle, electrical meters to test the capacitor, relay and control board, and leak detection and flare joint tools. The exact kit depends on the fault description you give when you book.

Can the technician check the AC and the fridge in the same visit?

Yes. The technician covers both air conditioning and refrigeration, so if you have a faulty AC and a commercial fridge or cold unit at the same location he inspects both in one visit and explains the condition of each separately before any repair begins.

How does the technician explain the fault before any work begins?

The technician diagnoses the fault first, whether a failing capacitor, a deteriorated flare joint or a blocked drain line, then tells you what he found, what work is needed and which parts must be replaced. No work starts until you have approved what he has explained.

What happens if the repair needs a spare part?

After the inspection the technician names the part needed and explains why. If the part is available on site the repair is done in the same visit. If it has to be sourced first, he agrees a second visit with you. No replacement is started without your knowledge of what will be done.

Is the inspection for a split unit different from a ducted or cassette unit?

Yes. A split unit gives direct access to the coil, filter and flare joint. A ducted or cassette unit also needs the plenum, dampers and duct runs checked to confirm air is distributed correctly. The technician decides the inspection method after seeing the unit type and installation at your site.

My beachfront unit loses cooling power quickly, why?

Sea salt builds up on the evaporator and condenser coils and cuts cooling efficiency. Our team cleans the coils and inspects the full system to restore peak performance in a coastal setting.

The tower is very tall, how do you reach outdoor units at height?

We coordinate with the building management and maintenance team to secure safe access to units at each level, and use proper safety equipment for working at height.

Does coastal humidity cause problems in the indoor units?

Yes, high humidity speeds up mould and rust in the drain pan and indoor coils. We clean them regularly and check drainage lines to prevent buildup.

How much circuit capacity do the outdoor units at height need?

It depends on the unit size and distance from the distribution board. We inspect the connections and electrical protection to ensure they safely handle the load, and coordinate with the building electrician if needed.
