When duct quality makes the difference
- 1
Duct losing cold air
An open seam or an unsealed joint loses cold air before it reaches the room. We close every seam with Foster sealant in the workshop before shipping, so the seal does not depend on site work alone.
- 2
Condensation wetting the ceiling
In Jeddah's humid air any bare metal surface sweats and drips onto the ceiling or damages the unit insulation. We wrap with Kimmco or Armaflex at the thickness the site calls for.
- 3
A project with many duct runs
A villa or commercial building needs main trunks, branches and plenums in several sizes. We make sections in the workshop numbered to the site plan, so the hanging crew assembles without cutting or adjusting.
Who it's for
Replacing your villa's AC and need new ductwork
We make supply and return trunks and plenums to your villa's dimensions, insulated and numbered, ready for the hanging crew without any on-site cutting.

How we work
How we work
- 1
Send sizes or drawings
Send us the duct drawing or a list of section sizes. If sizes are not fixed yet, we agree a site survey before production starts.
- 2
Review sizes and sheet gauge
We check each section's dimensions and pick the right sheet thickness for the duct size, then confirm quantities with you before cutting begins.
- 3
Fabricate, seal and insulate
We cut and fold the G90 galvanised sheet, lock the seams with Foster sealant, and wrap each section with Kimmco or Armaflex insulation in the workshop before shipment.
- 4
Number and deliver
We mark each section with its position and dimension from the site plan, so the hanging team identifies every piece without confusion and starts work on arrival.

What sets this district apart
Al Atheer is a zone of rapid residential growth with new villa developments, apartment complexes and mid-range hotels, most built to high specifications that demand insulated and reliable central duct networks. Manual cutting on site leaves gaps that leak cooled air and cause moisture to condense on internal surfaces, especially in Al Atheer's hot and humid climate. We manufacture ducts in the workshop to the exact project dimensions with sequential numbering, ensuring perfect fit and fast on-site assembly without gaps.
Al Atheer, in south Jeddah, is a zone of new residential and hotel projects built to high architectural standards.
Most new projects here run on central AC systems with insulated ducts routed horizontally and vertically through ceilings and walls.
The AC setup in Al Atheer
- 1
Central duct network distributed
New residential and hotel projects in Al Atheer require complex horizontal and vertical duct runs linking the outdoor unit to all rooms.
- 2
Insulated plenums and distribution boxes
We manufacture main distribution boxes and branch plenums to the same sealed and insulated standards to prevent cold loss between the plenum and rooms.
- 3
Limited use of flexible ducts
We use flexible ducting only for short, sensitive runs; the bulk of the network is rigid duct that we manufacture and seal precisely.
Before the visit
Before our visit in Al Atheer
- 1
Obtain the precise project drawing
Before the visit, get the exact duct schematic and dimensions from the project engineer for all runs and clearances.
- 2
Confirm the outdoor unit dimensions
Verify the location and footprint of the main unit and the available space for duct runs from it indoors.
- 3
Check the site is ready for delivery
Ensure corridors, ceilings and walls are ready for installation, and there is enough space to stage the ducts before hanging begins.

FAQ
Questions about AC duct manufacturing
How do you make sure the duct does not leak air at the seams?
We close the long seams with a tight mechanical lock as the sheet is formed, then seal every seam and every joint between sections with Foster sealant before insulating. Sections leave the workshop with matching flanges that tighten evenly when hung, because any small gap in cold duct means lost air and a point where condensation forms.
Does the duct arrive ready to hang, or is it assembled on site?
Sections arrive fabricated, insulated, sealed and numbered to the route drawing, so the fitters know where each piece goes without cutting or altering on site. What is left on site is joining the sections, fixing them to the hangers and connecting the unit and outlets, which shortens the work above the ceiling.
Do you make plenums for cassette and cabinet units?
Yes, we fabricate plenums for both types. A cassette unit plenum is measured to match the unit's outlet frame exactly so air reaches the branch runs without leaking at the connection. A cabinet unit plenum is made to carry both the supply and return paths if the design calls for it. Both types are insulated with Kimmco or Armaflex and sealed with Foster sealant before they leave the workshop.
Can you manufacture duct for a large commercial project?
Yes. The workshop is equipped to fabricate large supply and return trunk runs suited to commercial, government and industrial buildings. Each section is made to the project drawings, numbered and delivered ready to hang after insulation and sealing. When engineering drawings are available, the technical team reviews them before fabrication starts to confirm that the duct dimensions fit the ceiling voids on site.
Why are the duct sections insulated in the workshop before delivery?
The duct carries cold air through a ceiling void that may be hot and humid. Without external insulation, water vapour condenses on the cold sheet and drips onto the false ceiling or the goods below. So each section is wrapped in Kimmco or Armaflex in our workshop and every edge and joint is sealed with Foster sealant before delivery.
What is the difference between ducts cut on site and ducts made in the workshop?
Hand-cut ducts on site leave gaps that leak cold air and increase cooling bills. We manufacture ducts precisely in the workshop and seal every seam tightly, so there is no leakage and no moisture condensation inside.
Can you deliver ducts quickly for large projects in Al Atheer?
Yes, we plan the duct layout with the project engineer before manufacturing starts, and number each section in installation order, which speeds up both delivery and fitting.
The heat and humidity in Al Atheer are severe, does insulation alone stop condensation?
Complete duct insulation combined with tight sealing of every seam prevents hot, humid outdoor air from entering the duct, so moisture does not condense on the inner surfaces.
How do you ensure the ducts match the project dimensions before delivery?
We take precise measurements from the project drawings and manufacture all ducts and plenums to those exact dimensions, inspecting each piece before delivery to confirm perfect fit.
