When duct quality makes the difference

  1. 1

    Duct losing cold air

An open seam or an unsealed joint loses cold air before it reaches the room. We close every seam with Foster sealant in the workshop before shipping, so the seal does not depend on site work alone.

  2. 2

    Condensation wetting the ceiling

In Jeddah's humid air any bare metal surface sweats and drips onto the ceiling or damages the unit insulation. We wrap with Kimmco or Armaflex at the thickness the site calls for.

  3. 3

A project with many duct runs

A villa or commercial building needs main trunks, branches and plenums in several sizes. We make sections in the workshop numbered to the site plan, so the hanging crew assembles without cutting or adjusting.

Who it's for

  • Replacing your villa's AC and need new ductwork

We make supply and return trunks and plenums to your villa's dimensions, insulated and numbered, ready for the hanging crew without any on-site cutting.

How we work

How we work

  1. 1

    Send sizes or drawings

Send us the duct drawing or a list of section sizes. If sizes are not fixed yet, we agree a site survey before production starts.

  2. 2

    Review sizes and sheet gauge

We check each section's dimensions and pick the right sheet thickness for the duct size, then confirm quantities with you before cutting begins.

  3. 3

    Fabricate, seal and insulate

We cut and fold the G90 galvanised sheet, lock the seams with Foster sealant, and wrap each section with Kimmco or Armaflex insulation in the workshop before shipment.

  4. 4

    Number and deliver

We mark each section with its position and dimension from the site plan, so the hanging team identifies every piece without confusion and starts work on arrival.

Ductwork, rooftop units and diffusers, from work we've completed in Jeddah.

  • Galvanized rectangular duct trunk with branch takeoffs and round diffusers, hung from a black ceiling, a Carrier unit visible behind — interior finishing stage.
  • Round diffusers and a spiral duct trunk in a tiled stairwell service shaft.
  • Rooftop ductwork and an exhaust fan, with Jeddah buildings in the background.
  • Rooftop packaged AC units with rectangular duct transitions, city buildings behind.
  • Insulated rooftop duct run beside a packaged unit, a warehouse roof in the background.
  • A grid of round diffusers in an open-plan office ceiling, mid-construction.
  • An insulated rooftop duct elbow, against a mountainous backdrop.
  • Large insulated ductwork running along a factory ceiling, with workers visible below.
  • A yellow round diffuser mid-installation, with spiral duct and a suspended ceiling grid.
  • Duct insulation wrap in progress on a construction site, bare duct still exposed.

What sets this district apart

Al Harazat is an industrial and commercial zone east Jeddah with factories, warehouses and large commercial buildings of high ceiling span. Central AC here needs ducts in large gauges and wide cross-sections to deliver sufficient air across vast spaces, and on-site cutting is time-consuming and creates leaking gaps. Al Harazat faces easterly winds and industrial dust, so complete insulation and tight sealing are vital to keep contaminated air out and reduce cooling loss in dry hot summer. Workshop manufacturing speeds installation and commissioning.

Al Harazat sits in east Jeddah, a major industrial-commercial zone with factories, warehouses and massive halls.

Central AC in Al Harazat requires very wide duct sections and long runs to cover warehouses and factories with high ceilings.

The AC setup in Al Harazat

  1. 1

Very wide main ducts for warehouses

Large warehouses in Al Harazat need main ducts with very wide sections to distribute adequate air across the entire floor area.

  2. 2

Multiple distribution branches across high ceilings

Factories and warehouses with high ceilings need evenly distributed branches hung on tall steel or concrete ceilings.

  3. 3

Insulated return ducts with dust protection

Return ducts in Al Harazat need complete insulation and tight sealing to protect returning air from industrial dust and easterly winds.

Before the visit

Before our visit in Al Harazat

  1. 1

Bring complete warehouse or factory drawings

We need complete architectural drawings of total area, ceiling heights and cavities to design the duct system accurately before manufacturing.

  2. 2

Identify outdoor unit location and distribution branches

Identifying the outdoor unit location and main distribution points in the warehouse helps plan ducts efficiently.

  3. 3

Confirm space readiness and installation access

Verify that spaces between ceilings and steel beams are ready and accessible for mounting, and that there is a clear route for transporting duct sections to site.

FAQ

Questions about AC duct manufacturing

How do you make sure the duct does not leak air at the seams?

We close the long seams with a tight mechanical lock as the sheet is formed, then seal every seam and every joint between sections with Foster sealant before insulating. Sections leave the workshop with matching flanges that tighten evenly when hung, because any small gap in cold duct means lost air and a point where condensation forms.

Does the duct arrive ready to hang, or is it assembled on site?

Sections arrive fabricated, insulated, sealed and numbered to the route drawing, so the fitters know where each piece goes without cutting or altering on site. What is left on site is joining the sections, fixing them to the hangers and connecting the unit and outlets, which shortens the work above the ceiling.

Do you make plenums for cassette and cabinet units?

Yes, we fabricate plenums for both types. A cassette unit plenum is measured to match the unit's outlet frame exactly so air reaches the branch runs without leaking at the connection. A cabinet unit plenum is made to carry both the supply and return paths if the design calls for it. Both types are insulated with Kimmco or Armaflex and sealed with Foster sealant before they leave the workshop.

Can you manufacture duct for a large commercial project?

Yes. The workshop is equipped to fabricate large supply and return trunk runs suited to commercial, government and industrial buildings. Each section is made to the project drawings, numbered and delivered ready to hang after insulation and sealing. When engineering drawings are available, the technical team reviews them before fabrication starts to confirm that the duct dimensions fit the ceiling voids on site.

Why are the duct sections insulated in the workshop before delivery?

The duct carries cold air through a ceiling void that may be hot and humid. Without external insulation, water vapour condenses on the cold sheet and drips onto the false ceiling or the goods below. So each section is wrapped in Kimmco or Armaflex in our workshop and every edge and joint is sealed with Foster sealant before delivery.

My warehouse has an old central AC that leaks air, can you make replacement ducts in large gauges?

Yes, we make ducts in any large gauge your warehouse needs, with full insulation and Foster sealing on every joint to stop leakage.

Industrial dust and easterly winds enter our old ducts, what is the solution?

New ducts with complete insulation and tight sealing protect against dust and polluted air, and insulation cuts heat and moisture ingress from outside.

Our factory needs a very long run from the AC unit, what is the longest duct length you make?

We make ducts to any length your project needs, cut into numbered sections for easy transport and assembly in large spaces.

How long does it take to manufacture ducts for a large warehouse?

Timeline depends on warehouse size, number of sections and specs; send drawings and we will set a fitting completion date.
