Precision-made ductwork
AC duct manufacturing in Al Jawharah
In Al Jawharah, south Jeddah, modern residential and commercial projects rely on central AC with ducting for distribution, yet site-cut ducts leave gaps that bleed cold air. Alrabih manufactures your ducts complete in-house to your project dimensions, seals every seam with Foster sealant, and delivers them ready to install.

When duct quality makes the difference
- 1
Duct losing cold air
An open seam or an unsealed joint loses cold air before it reaches the room. We close every seam with Foster sealant in the workshop before shipping, so the seal does not depend on site work alone.
- 2
Condensation wetting the ceiling
In Jeddah's humid air any bare metal surface sweats and drips onto the ceiling or damages the unit insulation. We wrap with Kimmco or Armaflex at the thickness the site calls for.
- 3
A project with many duct runs
A villa or commercial building needs main trunks, branches and plenums in several sizes. We make sections in the workshop numbered to the site plan, so the hanging crew assembles without cutting or adjusting.
Who it's for
Replacing your villa's AC and need new ductwork
We make supply and return trunks and plenums to your villa's dimensions, insulated and numbered, ready for the hanging crew without any on-site cutting.

How we work
How we work
- 1
Send sizes or drawings
Send us the duct drawing or a list of section sizes. If sizes are not fixed yet, we agree a site survey before production starts.
- 2
Review sizes and sheet gauge
We check each section's dimensions and pick the right sheet thickness for the duct size, then confirm quantities with you before cutting begins.
- 3
Fabricate, seal and insulate
We cut and fold the G90 galvanised sheet, lock the seams with Foster sealant, and wrap each section with Kimmco or Armaflex insulation in the workshop before shipment.
- 4
Number and deliver
We mark each section with its position and dimension from the site plan, so the hanging team identifies every piece without confusion and starts work on arrival.

What sets this district apart
Al Jawharah is a relatively modern district of planned residential blocks and commercial towers, and many new projects choose central AC for its energy efficiency and cleanliness over separate units. Workshop-made ducts offer tighter seals than random on-site cutting, and reduce cold-air leakage that drains efficiency and raises electricity bills in south Jeddah's heat.
Al Jawharah lies in south Jeddah, a district of modern residential blocks and commercial towers planned around central AC networks.
Most new projects in Al Jawharah use parallel ducting with one main trunk and secondary branches to distribute cool air across floors.
The AC setup in Al Jawharah
- 1
Main trunks with parallel branches
Residential projects in Al Jawharah typically need one main trunk on the ceiling with parallel branches feeding each horizontal air handler.
- 2
Rectangular ducts for commercial buildings
Commercial towers and hotels in Al Jawharah use larger rectangular ducts to distribute air across many floors with higher efficiency.
- 3
Acoustic lining for hotels and offices
Commercial and hotel projects may request ducts with acoustic lining to dampen airflow noise in residential and office units.

FAQ
Questions about AC duct manufacturing
How do you make sure the duct does not leak air at the seams?
We close the long seams with a tight mechanical lock as the sheet is formed, then seal every seam and every joint between sections with Foster sealant before insulating. Sections leave the workshop with matching flanges that tighten evenly when hung, because any small gap in cold duct means lost air and a point where condensation forms.
Does the duct arrive ready to hang, or is it assembled on site?
Sections arrive fabricated, insulated, sealed and numbered to the route drawing, so the fitters know where each piece goes without cutting or altering on site. What is left on site is joining the sections, fixing them to the hangers and connecting the unit and outlets, which shortens the work above the ceiling.
Do you make plenums for cassette and cabinet units?
Yes, we fabricate plenums for both types. A cassette unit plenum is measured to match the unit's outlet frame exactly so air reaches the branch runs without leaking at the connection. A cabinet unit plenum is made to carry both the supply and return paths if the design calls for it. Both types are insulated with Kimmco or Armaflex and sealed with Foster sealant before they leave the workshop.
Can you manufacture duct for a large commercial project?
Yes. The workshop is equipped to fabricate large supply and return trunk runs suited to commercial, government and industrial buildings. Each section is made to the project drawings, numbered and delivered ready to hang after insulation and sealing. When engineering drawings are available, the technical team reviews them before fabrication starts to confirm that the duct dimensions fit the ceiling voids on site.
Why are the duct sections insulated in the workshop before delivery?
The duct carries cold air through a ceiling void that may be hot and humid. Without external insulation, water vapour condenses on the cold sheet and drips onto the false ceiling or the goods below. So each section is wrapped in Kimmco or Armaflex in our workshop and every edge and joint is sealed with Foster sealant before delivery.
My project needs new ducts, how do you calculate the right dimensions?
We ask for the building drawing and the HVAC blueprint, calculate duct dimensions and branches based on the run length and outlet count, and send you a quote before we start.
Al Jawharah's streets are wide and easy to navigate, is delivery on the same day?
Delivery depends on the order size and production schedule; larger ducts may take several days in the workshop, and we confirm the agreed delivery date clearly.
South Jeddah is very hot; is the duct insulation sufficient in our heat?
We fully insulate all ducts to prevent cold-air leakage and reduce condensation on the outer surface in the high heat, essential for system efficiency here.
Workshop-made ducts need strong support wires; does this affect installation?
The ducts are numbered and staged at the site, and the installation team uses standard hangers to secure them to the building structure safely.
