When duct quality makes the difference
- 1
Duct losing cold air
An open seam or an unsealed joint loses cold air before it reaches the room. We close every seam with Foster sealant in the workshop before shipping, so the seal does not depend on site work alone.
- 2
Condensation wetting the ceiling
In Jeddah's humid air any bare metal surface sweats and drips onto the ceiling or damages the unit insulation. We wrap with Kimmco or Armaflex at the thickness the site calls for.
- 3
A project with many duct runs
A villa or commercial building needs main trunks, branches and plenums in several sizes. We make sections in the workshop numbered to the site plan, so the hanging crew assembles without cutting or adjusting.
Who it's for
Replacing your villa's AC and need new ductwork
We make supply and return trunks and plenums to your villa's dimensions, insulated and numbered, ready for the hanging crew without any on-site cutting.

How we work
How we work
- 1
Send sizes or drawings
Send us the duct drawing or a list of section sizes. If sizes are not fixed yet, we agree a site survey before production starts.
- 2
Review sizes and sheet gauge
We check each section's dimensions and pick the right sheet thickness for the duct size, then confirm quantities with you before cutting begins.
- 3
Fabricate, seal and insulate
We cut and fold the G90 galvanised sheet, lock the seams with Foster sealant, and wrap each section with Kimmco or Armaflex insulation in the workshop before shipment.
- 4
Number and deliver
We mark each section with its position and dimension from the site plan, so the hanging team identifies every piece without confusion and starts work on arrival.

What sets this district apart
Al Majd is a relatively modern residential district with villas and mid-sized apartment blocks plus some small commercial projects, and most buildings have central or distributed AC systems that need precisely manufactured ducts to distribute air efficiently across storeys and rooms. On-site duct cutting causes cold-air loss and humidity buildup in Jeddah's damp heat, while pre-made ducts deliver even distribution and energy savings.
Al Majd lies in north-east Jeddah, a modern residential area of villas and medium-rise apartment blocks.
Most residential and small commercial projects in Al Majd use central AC systems requiring cross-floor ducts of varying lengths.
The AC setup in Al Majd
- 1
Central ducts for apartment blocks
The mid-rise apartment blocks in Al Majd need uniform cross-floor ducts from a central unit to distribution rooms on each storey.
- 2
Distributed branches for villas
Villas of varying sizes need main trunk ducts with secondary branches distributed according to the number of wings and rooms in each villa.
- 3
Horizontal ducts for small commercial projects
Small shops and offices in Al Majd need simple horizontal ducts of limited length with few sections.
Before the visit
Before our visit in Al Majd
- 1
Bring building plans and main measurements
Building plans help us calculate duct lengths and opening positions accurately before we start manufacturing.
- 2
Confirm the central unit and fan location
We need to know where the main unit and fan will sit so we can fabricate the first trunk section and calculate all connected runs.
- 3
Verify duct sections can pass through corridors and openings
Check that corridors, ceilings and openings allow the manufactured duct sections to pass through from the main doors.

FAQ
Questions about AC duct manufacturing
How do you make sure the duct does not leak air at the seams?
We close the long seams with a tight mechanical lock as the sheet is formed, then seal every seam and every joint between sections with Foster sealant before insulating. Sections leave the workshop with matching flanges that tighten evenly when hung, because any small gap in cold duct means lost air and a point where condensation forms.
Does the duct arrive ready to hang, or is it assembled on site?
Sections arrive fabricated, insulated, sealed and numbered to the route drawing, so the fitters know where each piece goes without cutting or altering on site. What is left on site is joining the sections, fixing them to the hangers and connecting the unit and outlets, which shortens the work above the ceiling.
Do you make plenums for cassette and cabinet units?
Yes, we fabricate plenums for both types. A cassette unit plenum is measured to match the unit's outlet frame exactly so air reaches the branch runs without leaking at the connection. A cabinet unit plenum is made to carry both the supply and return paths if the design calls for it. Both types are insulated with Kimmco or Armaflex and sealed with Foster sealant before they leave the workshop.
Can you manufacture duct for a large commercial project?
Yes. The workshop is equipped to fabricate large supply and return trunk runs suited to commercial, government and industrial buildings. Each section is made to the project drawings, numbered and delivered ready to hang after insulation and sealing. When engineering drawings are available, the technical team reviews them before fabrication starts to confirm that the duct dimensions fit the ceiling voids on site.
Why are the duct sections insulated in the workshop before delivery?
The duct carries cold air through a ceiling void that may be hot and humid. Without external insulation, water vapour condenses on the cold sheet and drips onto the false ceiling or the goods below. So each section is wrapped in Kimmco or Armaflex in our workshop and every edge and joint is sealed with Foster sealant before delivery.
How do workshop-made ducts differ from cutting on site?
Workshop ducts are sealed at every seam with Foster sealant and fully insulated before delivery, whereas on-site cutting leaves gaps that bleed cold air and moisture.
Al Majd's villas have varied foundation levels, how do you route the ducts?
We visit the site first to measure actual clearances and heights, then manufacture numbered sections matched exactly to the assembly sequence.
Does Jeddah's humidity affect the insulation on manufactured ducts?
Complete insulation on the ducts protects against internal moisture buildup and mould growth, which is a key advantage of full factory manufacture over site assembly.
What power does the central duct fan need in a villa installation?
This depends on the fan capacity and the total duct run length; send us a photo of your plans on WhatsApp and we will confirm the exact power requirement.
