Who needs workshop-fabricated duct?

  1. 1

    A contractor with project-specific sizes

Your project has non-standard sizes or volumes too large for site cutting. We fabricate rectangular and round sections from your drawings at exact dimensions, labelled and ready to hang when they reach the site.

  2. 2

Fittings too awkward to cut on site

Elbows, transitions, offsets and takeoffs come out distorted when cut by hand on site, leaking air and creating noise in the line. We make them in the workshop at the right dimensions with tight seams.

  3. 3

Extending or renovating an existing duct network

You need new branches, a damaged section replaced or a fitting that matches an old duct size. We measure the existing network on site and fabricate the pieces to match what is already there.

Who it's for

  • Building a facility that needs non-standard duct sizes

We read your project drawings and fabricate all sections and fittings at exact dimensions from G90 or aluminium sheet, labelled and ready to hang the moment they reach your site.

How we work

How we work

  1. 1

    Take measurements

A technician visits the site or you send us the drawings; we list every duct section needed, its size and the correct sheet thickness for that section.

  2. 2

    Fabricate sections and fittings

We cut, form and lock the sheet in the workshop, including all elbows, transitions, offsets and takeoffs, and each section comes out at its exact dimension.

  3. 3

    Label and prepare for delivery

We number every section and fitting against the assembly plan so the installation crew knows exactly where each piece goes, with no guessing on site.

  4. 4

    Deliver to site

We deliver the duct to your Jeddah site protected and ready to hang. If you need an installation crew, we can arrange that as a separate step.

Some of our work

Ductwork, rooftop units and diffusers, from work we've completed in Jeddah.

  • Galvanized rectangular duct trunk with branch takeoffs and round diffusers, hung from a black ceiling, a Carrier unit visible behind — interior finishing stage.
  • Round diffusers and a spiral duct trunk in a tiled stairwell service shaft.
  • Rooftop ductwork and an exhaust fan, with Jeddah buildings in the background.
  • Rooftop packaged AC units with rectangular duct transitions, city buildings behind.
  • Insulated rooftop duct run beside a packaged unit, a warehouse roof in the background.
  • A grid of round diffusers in an open-plan office ceiling, mid-construction.
  • An insulated rooftop duct elbow, against a mountainous backdrop.
  • Large insulated ductwork running along a factory ceiling, with workers visible below.
  • A yellow round diffuser mid-installation, with spiral duct and a suspended ceiling grid.
  • Duct insulation wrap in progress on a construction site, bare duct still exposed.
  • A black-painted duct trunk with round diffusers and track lighting, in a finished retail interior.

What sets this district apart

Al Majd comprises villas and residential towers on spacious plots, many designed from the start for central AC. This building type needs extensive ductwork spanning multiple floors and varying ceiling heights, and workshop fabrication ensures each section fits the architectural spaces precisely with no waste or air leakage at the joints. Large sections, complex bends, transitions between different diameters and offset fittings need accuracy that site cutting cannot deliver.

Al Majd lies in north-east Jeddah, a district of modern residential towers and villas set on open plots.

Most villas and towers here are designed with central ducting networks, and the outdoor unit typically sits on a roof or spacious side courtyard.

The AC setup in Al Majd

  1. 1

    Comprehensive central duct network

Modern villas and towers here need extensive duct networks covering all rooms and floors from one central unit.

  2. 2

    Complex bends and transition sections

Modern house designs call for sharp bends and transitions between different diameters, which requires precise workshop fabrication.

  3. 3

    Concealed ductwork in suspended ceilings

Most villas and towers conceal the ductwork within suspended ceilings, so the sections must be precisely fabricated to fit tight spaces.

Before the visit

Before our visit in Al Majd

  1. 1

Have your architectural plan or engineering drawing ready

Prepare your building, floor and ceiling drawings so we can take precise duct measurements from them before fabrication.

  2. 2

Confirm the central unit location and outdoor outlet

Show us exactly where the central unit and outdoor air outlet will be so we can calculate ductwork length accurately.

  3. 3

Verify ceiling heights and floor-to-floor gaps

Measure the gaps between ceilings, floors and side channels so we fabricate sections that fit the available space without rework.

FAQ

Questions about Duct fabrication

Can you fabricate from drawings without visiting the site?

Yes, when the drawings are clear and carry the actual as-built dimensions. If a dimension is uncertain or a field change has been made, we prefer a site visit to avoid a fabricated piece that does not fit. We discuss the better approach with you before starting work.

What is the difference between galvanized and aluminium sheet for duct?

G90 galvanized sheet is the standard choice for interior duct: strong and suited to a range of pressures. Aluminium is lighter and handles Jeddah's coastal humidity and salt air better, making it right for some exposed applications or where structural load is a limiting factor. The correct choice depends on the site.

Can you make elbows and transitions to match an existing duct network?

Yes. We measure the existing network on site to match sizes precisely, whether you need a new branch added, a damaged fitting replaced or an extension tied into the original ductwork. The right approach is confirmed after the site visit.

How do you choose sheet thickness for each section?

Thickness follows section size: a large duct needs heavier sheet to hold its shape under pressure, a small one can use lighter material. We apply the SMACNA requirements to each section in the project individually, not a single thickness across the whole job.

Does Jeddah's humidity and salt air affect which sheet material to use?

Yes, particularly for sections exposed to outdoor air or installed near fresh-air intakes. G90 galvanized sheet performs well inside the building, but aluminium is the better choice where duct is in continuous contact with Jeddah's humid, salt-laden air. The site survey determines the right material for each section.

I am planning a new central AC system for my villa, do you fabricate the complete ductwork?

Yes, we fabricate the complete ductwork in galvanized or aluminium sheet from your plan and measurements, and deliver it ready to install in your villa.

Our villas sit on open land, does that make moving large sections easier?

Yes, the open spaces and large courtyards allow our team to deliver complex large sections much more easily than in densely built areas.

Do high humidity and dust affect the quality of metal ductwork here?

Galvanized sheet resists humidity and dust well, and fabricating it in a controlled workshop ensures it is not exposed to weather before installation.

Suspended ceilings and side ducts, do these need custom duct sections?

Yes, we fabricate custom sections for suspended ceilings, side runs and bends to match your house design exactly.
