When duct quality makes the difference
- 1
Duct losing cold air
An open seam or an unsealed joint loses cold air before it reaches the room. We close every seam with Foster sealant in the workshop before shipping, so the seal does not depend on site work alone.
- 2
Condensation wetting the ceiling
In Jeddah's humid air any bare metal surface sweats and drips onto the ceiling or damages the unit insulation. We wrap with Kimmco or Armaflex at the thickness the site calls for.
- 3
A project with many duct runs
A villa or commercial building needs main trunks, branches and plenums in several sizes. We make sections in the workshop numbered to the site plan, so the hanging crew assembles without cutting or adjusting.
Who it's for
Replacing your villa's AC and need new ductwork
We make supply and return trunks and plenums to your villa's dimensions, insulated and numbered, ready for the hanging crew without any on-site cutting.

How we work
How we work
- 1
Send sizes or drawings
Send us the duct drawing or a list of section sizes. If sizes are not fixed yet, we agree a site survey before production starts.
- 2
Review sizes and sheet gauge
We check each section's dimensions and pick the right sheet thickness for the duct size, then confirm quantities with you before cutting begins.
- 3
Fabricate, seal and insulate
We cut and fold the G90 galvanised sheet, lock the seams with Foster sealant, and wrap each section with Kimmco or Armaflex insulation in the workshop before shipment.
- 4
Number and deliver
We mark each section with its position and dimension from the site plan, so the hanging team identifies every piece without confusion and starts work on arrival.

What sets this district apart
Most Al Nur villas and towers are newer and built with open plans and high ceilings, making central AC the natural choice for even distribution across all rooms. However, on-site-cut ducts leave seams that bleed cold air and become condensation points in Jeddah's humid heat, a real concern. Shop-made numbered ducts that are easy to hang solve both problems and deliver better performance than makeshift cuts.
Al Nur sits in north Jeddah, a district of modern villas and contemporary residential towers with generous outdoor space.
Most new villas and towers in Al Nur run central AC systems rather than splits, with ducts typically routed through false ceilings and partition walls.
The AC setup in Al Nur
- 1
Central ducts for modern villas
New Al Nur villas rely on central duct networks running through false ceilings, requiring precisely calibrated and sealed ducts.
- 2
Separate supply and return ducts
Most central systems in Al Nur use separate supply and return ducts for balanced distribution and better airflow control.
- 3
Insulated ducts to prevent condensation and heat loss
Full duct insulation is essential in humid Jeddah to prevent moisture condensation and cold loss along extended runs.
Before the visit

- 1
Provide project plans and exact measurements
Send us the architect's drawings, electrical and water routes, ceiling heights and room-spacing measurements before our visit.
- 2
Confirm the main AC unit and furnace location
Confirm where the central unit and furnace will be located and that they are accessible, and tell us the mechanical room location before we visit.
- 3
Coordinate with the contractor on timing
Make sure the false-ceiling work has started or is about to, so we can manufacture ducts at the right time before the ceiling closes up.

FAQ
Questions about AC duct manufacturing
How do you make sure the duct does not leak air at the seams?
We close the long seams with a tight mechanical lock as the sheet is formed, then seal every seam and every joint between sections with Foster sealant before insulating. Sections leave the workshop with matching flanges that tighten evenly when hung, because any small gap in cold duct means lost air and a point where condensation forms.
Does the duct arrive ready to hang, or is it assembled on site?
Sections arrive fabricated, insulated, sealed and numbered to the route drawing, so the fitters know where each piece goes without cutting or altering on site. What is left on site is joining the sections, fixing them to the hangers and connecting the unit and outlets, which shortens the work above the ceiling.
Do you make plenums for cassette and cabinet units?
Yes, we fabricate plenums for both types. A cassette unit plenum is measured to match the unit's outlet frame exactly so air reaches the branch runs without leaking at the connection. A cabinet unit plenum is made to carry both the supply and return paths if the design calls for it. Both types are insulated with Kimmco or Armaflex and sealed with Foster sealant before they leave the workshop.
Can you manufacture duct for a large commercial project?
Yes. The workshop is equipped to fabricate large supply and return trunk runs suited to commercial, government and industrial buildings. Each section is made to the project drawings, numbered and delivered ready to hang after insulation and sealing. When engineering drawings are available, the technical team reviews them before fabrication starts to confirm that the duct dimensions fit the ceiling voids on site.
Why are the duct sections insulated in the workshop before delivery?
The duct carries cold air through a ceiling void that may be hot and humid. Without external insulation, water vapour condenses on the cold sheet and drips onto the false ceiling or the goods below. So each section is wrapped in Kimmco or Armaflex in our workshop and every edge and joint is sealed with Foster sealant before delivery.
My new villa needs central ducts, do you make them to the plans?
Yes, we take the project dimensions and drawings and manufacture supply and return ducts precisely in the workshop, with each section numbered for easy on-site hanging.
Al Nur's streets are wide and open, how do you deliver the manufactured ducts to the site?
We use an equipped delivery vehicle to transport the numbered sections safely, and Al Nur's wide streets make unloading straightforward without delays.
Jeddah's heat and humidity cause condensation on ducts, how do you protect against that?
We fully insulate all ducts before delivery, and precise sealing of every seam with Foster sealant stops cold-air loss and condensation points forming.
My new villa has high ceilings and false ceilings, do you tailor ducts to that height?
Yes, we take ceiling height and space measurements and produce custom ducts that fit the false-ceiling design and any vertical runs perfectly.
