When duct quality makes the difference

  1. 1

    Duct losing cold air

An open seam or an unsealed joint loses cold air before it reaches the room. We close every seam with Foster sealant in the workshop before shipping, so the seal does not depend on site work alone.

  2. 2

    Condensation wetting the ceiling

In Jeddah's humid air any bare metal surface sweats and drips onto the ceiling or damages the unit insulation. We wrap with Kimmco or Armaflex at the thickness the site calls for.

  3. 3

A project with many duct runs

A villa or commercial building needs main trunks, branches and plenums in several sizes. We make sections in the workshop numbered to the site plan, so the hanging crew assembles without cutting or adjusting.

Who it's for

  • Replacing your villa's AC and need new ductwork

We make supply and return trunks and plenums to your villa's dimensions, insulated and numbered, ready for the hanging crew without any on-site cutting.

How we work

How we work

  1. 1

    Send sizes or drawings

Send us the duct drawing or a list of section sizes. If sizes are not fixed yet, we agree a site survey before production starts.

  2. 2

    Review sizes and sheet gauge

We check each section's dimensions and pick the right sheet thickness for the duct size, then confirm quantities with you before cutting begins.

  3. 3

    Fabricate, seal and insulate

We cut and fold the G90 galvanised sheet, lock the seams with Foster sealant, and wrap each section with Kimmco or Armaflex insulation in the workshop before shipment.

  4. 4

    Number and deliver

We mark each section with its position and dimension from the site plan, so the hanging team identifies every piece without confusion and starts work on arrival.

Some of our work

Ductwork, rooftop units and diffusers, from work we've completed in Jeddah.

  • Galvanized rectangular duct trunk with branch takeoffs and round diffusers, hung from a black ceiling, a Carrier unit visible behind — interior finishing stage.
  • Round diffusers and a spiral duct trunk in a tiled stairwell service shaft.
  • Rooftop ductwork and an exhaust fan, with Jeddah buildings in the background.
  • Rooftop packaged AC units with rectangular duct transitions, city buildings behind.
  • Insulated rooftop duct run beside a packaged unit, a warehouse roof in the background.
  • A grid of round diffusers in an open-plan office ceiling, mid-construction.
  • An insulated rooftop duct elbow, against a mountainous backdrop.
  • Large insulated ductwork running along a factory ceiling, with workers visible below.
  • A yellow round diffuser mid-installation, with spiral duct and a suspended ceiling grid.
  • Duct insulation wrap in progress on a construction site, bare duct still exposed.
  • A black-painted duct trunk with round diffusers and track lighting, in a finished retail interior.

What sets this district apart

Al Ruwais is a relatively modern district with tall residential towers, hotels and specialist medical centres requiring high-quality air conditioning and precise temperature and humidity control. Buildings here are newer than other central Jeddah areas, meaning central air systems are designed from scratch rather than retrofitted. On-site cut ducts create gaps that leak cold air and undermine the precise control medical centres and hotels need, raising operating costs. Our workshop-made ducts are precision-sealed and highly insulated, and numbered to ensure correct installation without error.

Al Ruwais lies in central Jeddah, a modern district of tall residential towers, hotels and advanced medical facilities.

Most Al Ruwais projects require heavily insulated ducts because of the need for precise temperature and humidity control.

The AC setup in Al Ruwais

  1. 1

Multi-floor distribution ducts with high insulation

Tall residential towers and hotels in Al Ruwais need distribution ducts across multiple floors with very high insulation to prevent heat and moisture loss.

  2. 2

Intermediate plenums for rooms and suites

Hotels and medical centres need intermediate plenum boxes at each floor to distribute cold air evenly to each room or clinic.

  3. 3

    Medical-grade insulated return ducts

Medical centres need return ducts with very high insulation to prevent contaminants and moisture from entering the main air system.

Before the visit

Before our visit in Al Ruwais

  1. 1

Obtain complete architectural and mechanical drawings

Precise architectural and mechanical drawings for the project are essential to calculate duct sizes and ensure compatibility with all other building systems.

  2. 2

Specify precise temperature and humidity control requirements

Medical centres and hotels have very specific requirements, tell us the temperature and humidity needs for each zone so we design appropriate ducts.

  3. 3

Confirm space for specified and insulated ducts

Al Ruwais ducts are thicker due to high insulation, carefully verify ceiling and corridor space before starting.

FAQ

Questions about AC duct manufacturing

How do you make sure the duct does not leak air at the seams?

We close the long seams with a tight mechanical lock as the sheet is formed, then seal every seam and every joint between sections with Foster sealant before insulating. Sections leave the workshop with matching flanges that tighten evenly when hung, because any small gap in cold duct means lost air and a point where condensation forms.

Does the duct arrive ready to hang, or is it assembled on site?

Sections arrive fabricated, insulated, sealed and numbered to the route drawing, so the fitters know where each piece goes without cutting or altering on site. What is left on site is joining the sections, fixing them to the hangers and connecting the unit and outlets, which shortens the work above the ceiling.

Do you make plenums for cassette and cabinet units?

Yes, we fabricate plenums for both types. A cassette unit plenum is measured to match the unit's outlet frame exactly so air reaches the branch runs without leaking at the connection. A cabinet unit plenum is made to carry both the supply and return paths if the design calls for it. Both types are insulated with Kimmco or Armaflex and sealed with Foster sealant before they leave the workshop.

Can you manufacture duct for a large commercial project?

Yes. The workshop is equipped to fabricate large supply and return trunk runs suited to commercial, government and industrial buildings. Each section is made to the project drawings, numbered and delivered ready to hang after insulation and sealing. When engineering drawings are available, the technical team reviews them before fabrication starts to confirm that the duct dimensions fit the ceiling voids on site.

Why are the duct sections insulated in the workshop before delivery?

The duct carries cold air through a ceiling void that may be hot and humid. Without external insulation, water vapour condenses on the cold sheet and drips onto the false ceiling or the goods below. So each section is wrapped in Kimmco or Armaflex in our workshop and every edge and joint is sealed with Foster sealant before delivery.

My hotel needs precise temperature control, do sealed ducts ensure that?

Precision-sealed and insulated ducts prevent cold and hot air leaks and maintain even distribution in all rooms, essential for guest satisfaction.

The medical centre needs high isolation against contaminants and humidity, are your ducts suitable?

Yes, the sealing and insulation in our ducts maintain air purity and prevent moisture condensation, fully suitable for medical facilities and surgical areas.

The building is new and time is tight, can you deliver ducts quickly?

We take your dimensions and plans and manufacture the ducts on your timeline, with fast delivery and installation coordination.

How do you handle the high precision needed when installing ducts in hotels?

The ducts are precisely numbered and every section is marked, and installation is done by a team trained in hotel and medical projects to ensure no errors or leaks.
