When duct quality makes the difference
- 1
Duct losing cold air
An open seam or an unsealed joint loses cold air before it reaches the room. We close every seam with Foster sealant in the workshop before shipping, so the seal does not depend on site work alone.
- 2
Condensation wetting the ceiling
In Jeddah's humid air any bare metal surface sweats and drips onto the ceiling or damages the unit insulation. We wrap with Kimmco or Armaflex at the thickness the site calls for.
- 3
A project with many duct runs
A villa or commercial building needs main trunks, branches and plenums in several sizes. We make sections in the workshop numbered to the site plan, so the hanging crew assembles without cutting or adjusting.
Who it's for
Replacing your villa's AC and need new ductwork
We make supply and return trunks and plenums to your villa's dimensions, insulated and numbered, ready for the hanging crew without any on-site cutting.

How we work
How we work
- 1
Send sizes or drawings
Send us the duct drawing or a list of section sizes. If sizes are not fixed yet, we agree a site survey before production starts.
- 2
Review sizes and sheet gauge
We check each section's dimensions and pick the right sheet thickness for the duct size, then confirm quantities with you before cutting begins.
- 3
Fabricate, seal and insulate
We cut and fold the G90 galvanised sheet, lock the seams with Foster sealant, and wrap each section with Kimmco or Armaflex insulation in the workshop before shipment.
- 4
Number and deliver
We mark each section with its position and dimension from the site plan, so the hanging team identifies every piece without confusion and starts work on arrival.
Workshop-made or site-cut duct?
| Alrabih | The usual way | |
|---|---|---|
| Sealing | Foster on every seam in workshop | Uneven site sealing |
| Insulation | Kimmco or Armaflex fully wrapped | Partial or delayed wrap |
| Sheet gauge | Chosen for each duct size | One gauge for everything |
| Assembly time | Numbered, assembled straight away | Cut and adjust on site |
| Joint fit | Workshop dimensions close every joint | Hand trimming breaks the seal |

What sets this district apart
The Old Airport zone comprises large warehouses, commercial centres and small industrial workshops whose AC systems need large uniform-diameter ducts covering very large spaces. On-site hand cutting creates gaps that waste cooling and cause condensation on interior surfaces, especially in warehouses exposed to extreme heat and humidity. Workshop duct fabrication ensures exact compliance with engineering drawings, full seam sealing with Foster compound and complete insulation before delivery, improving efficiency and reducing long-term operating costs.
The Old Airport area in central Jeddah houses large warehouses, industrial workshops and commercial centres.
Most warehouses and commercial centres at Old Airport use large-diameter duct systems covering very large areas, needing pre-numbered sections ready for quick installation.
The AC setup in Old Airport
- 1
Large-diameter main trunks for warehouses
Large warehouses need very large main trunks with uniform diameters to efficiently cover vast spaces.
- 2
Branch ducts for air distribution
Splitting air from main trunks into branches serving different warehouse zones requires uniform fabrication and tight sealing.
- 3
Insulated numbered sections with detailed diagrams
Every section arrives fully insulated and numbered, with detailed assembly diagrams shipped to guide quick and precise installation and connections.

FAQ
Questions about AC duct manufacturing
How do you make sure the duct does not leak air at the seams?
We close the long seams with a tight mechanical lock as the sheet is formed, then seal every seam and every joint between sections with Foster sealant before insulating. Sections leave the workshop with matching flanges that tighten evenly when hung, because any small gap in cold duct means lost air and a point where condensation forms.
Does the duct arrive ready to hang, or is it assembled on site?
Sections arrive fabricated, insulated, sealed and numbered to the route drawing, so the fitters know where each piece goes without cutting or altering on site. What is left on site is joining the sections, fixing them to the hangers and connecting the unit and outlets, which shortens the work above the ceiling.
Do you make plenums for cassette and cabinet units?
Yes, we fabricate plenums for both types. A cassette unit plenum is measured to match the unit's outlet frame exactly so air reaches the branch runs without leaking at the connection. A cabinet unit plenum is made to carry both the supply and return paths if the design calls for it. Both types are insulated with Kimmco or Armaflex and sealed with Foster sealant before they leave the workshop.
Can you manufacture duct for a large commercial project?
Yes. The workshop is equipped to fabricate large supply and return trunk runs suited to commercial, government and industrial buildings. Each section is made to the project drawings, numbered and delivered ready to hang after insulation and sealing. When engineering drawings are available, the technical team reviews them before fabrication starts to confirm that the duct dimensions fit the ceiling voids on site.
Why are the duct sections insulated in the workshop before delivery?
The duct carries cold air through a ceiling void that may be hot and humid. Without external insulation, water vapour condenses on the cold sheet and drips onto the false ceiling or the goods below. So each section is wrapped in Kimmco or Armaflex in our workshop and every edge and joint is sealed with Foster sealant before delivery.
Large warehouses need very large-diameter ducts, how do you make them leak-free?
We fabricate ducts with large uniform diameters, sealing every joint with high-quality Foster compound and performing visual inspection before delivery, ensuring no leakage and high efficiency.
Long distances between units in warehouses, how do you handle them?
We fabricate very long uniform-diameter ducts with complete insulation to minimise cooling loss over extended runs, segmented for easy transport and reassembly.
The extreme heat and humidity in warehouses, does it affect the ducts?
Yes, we fully insulate all ducts with high-grade materials before delivery to prevent condensation on the outer surface and protect performance in hot, humid warehouse conditions.
Large projects at Old Airport need detailed assembly plans, do you provide them?
Yes, every large project includes a detailed diagram showing how numbered sections assemble, including joints, outlets and connections, helping the installation team work quickly and accurately.
