When duct quality makes the difference
- 1
Duct losing cold air
An open seam or an unsealed joint loses cold air before it reaches the room. We close every seam with Foster sealant in the workshop before shipping, so the seal does not depend on site work alone.
- 2
Condensation wetting the ceiling
In Jeddah's humid air any bare metal surface sweats and drips onto the ceiling or damages the unit insulation. We wrap with Kimmco or Armaflex at the thickness the site calls for.
- 3
A project with many duct runs
A villa or commercial building needs main trunks, branches and plenums in several sizes. We make sections in the workshop numbered to the site plan, so the hanging crew assembles without cutting or adjusting.
Who it's for
Replacing your villa's AC and need new ductwork
We make supply and return trunks and plenums to your villa's dimensions, insulated and numbered, ready for the hanging crew without any on-site cutting.

How we work
How we work
- 1
Send sizes or drawings
Send us the duct drawing or a list of section sizes. If sizes are not fixed yet, we agree a site survey before production starts.
- 2
Review sizes and sheet gauge
We check each section's dimensions and pick the right sheet thickness for the duct size, then confirm quantities with you before cutting begins.
- 3
Fabricate, seal and insulate
We cut and fold the G90 galvanised sheet, lock the seams with Foster sealant, and wrap each section with Kimmco or Armaflex insulation in the workshop before shipment.
- 4
Number and deliver
We mark each section with its position and dimension from the site plan, so the hanging team identifies every piece without confusion and starts work on arrival.

What sets this district apart
Al Sawari's buildings are relatively modern and roomier than downtown, with villas, residential towers and small to mid-range hotels all relying on central AC. These systems need ducts made with precision and fully sealed, because on-site cutting leaves gaps that bleed cold air and trap condensation in Jeddah's humid climate. Workshop-made ducts keep pressure loss down and maintain thermal efficiency across the whole system.
Al Sawari is in north Jeddah, a modern-build area of villas, residential blocks and small hotels that need complex central AC systems.
Most residential and hotel projects here use central AC units with ducts running across multiple floors and wings.
The AC setup in Al Sawari
- 1
Central distribution ducts for multiple floors
Most residential and hotel projects need main ducts from the central unit branching to each floor and wing.
- 2
Sealed return ducts from rooms to the unit
Return ducts need the same sealing and insulation to prevent heat and moisture being drawn from the surrounding space.
- 3
Branches to different thermal zones and areas
Larger villas and blocks need separate branches with dampers to balance heating between different wings and rooms.
Before the visit
Before our visit in Al Sawari
- 1
Gather the technical drawings for dimensions
Send us the architectural and mechanical drawings with exact dimensions before the visit, so we manufacture the ducts precisely.
- 2
Confirm the central unit and main outlet location
Confirm where the central unit sits and where the main ducts will exit, as this determines the primary trunk size and pressure needs.
- 3
Coordinate with the contractor and electrician
Make sure the contractor knows when ducts arrive and that the electrician has prepared the power supply for the unit before duct installation.

FAQ
Questions about AC duct manufacturing
How do you make sure the duct does not leak air at the seams?
We close the long seams with a tight mechanical lock as the sheet is formed, then seal every seam and every joint between sections with Foster sealant before insulating. Sections leave the workshop with matching flanges that tighten evenly when hung, because any small gap in cold duct means lost air and a point where condensation forms.
Does the duct arrive ready to hang, or is it assembled on site?
Sections arrive fabricated, insulated, sealed and numbered to the route drawing, so the fitters know where each piece goes without cutting or altering on site. What is left on site is joining the sections, fixing them to the hangers and connecting the unit and outlets, which shortens the work above the ceiling.
Do you make plenums for cassette and cabinet units?
Yes, we fabricate plenums for both types. A cassette unit plenum is measured to match the unit's outlet frame exactly so air reaches the branch runs without leaking at the connection. A cabinet unit plenum is made to carry both the supply and return paths if the design calls for it. Both types are insulated with Kimmco or Armaflex and sealed with Foster sealant before they leave the workshop.
Can you manufacture duct for a large commercial project?
Yes. The workshop is equipped to fabricate large supply and return trunk runs suited to commercial, government and industrial buildings. Each section is made to the project drawings, numbered and delivered ready to hang after insulation and sealing. When engineering drawings are available, the technical team reviews them before fabrication starts to confirm that the duct dimensions fit the ceiling voids on site.
Why are the duct sections insulated in the workshop before delivery?
The duct carries cold air through a ceiling void that may be hot and humid. Without external insulation, water vapour condenses on the cold sheet and drips onto the false ceiling or the goods below. So each section is wrapped in Kimmco or Armaflex in our workshop and every edge and joint is sealed with Foster sealant before delivery.
Does duct manufacturing delay the installation timeline?
No, we take your project dimensions and manufacture the ducts in parallel with other work, so they arrive numbered and ready to hang on site with no delay.
Do the modern residential buildings in Al Sawari need custom-made ducts?
Yes, each villa and block has its own floor and wing layout, so we make the supply, return and branch ducts to match the exact technical drawings.
Jeddah's humidity causes condensation in ducts, how do you protect them?
We fully insulate all ducts with thick insulation material and seal every seam with Foster sealant to prevent both moisture and cold-air loss.
If the central unit is far from the upper floors, will pressure be enough?
Yes, workshop-made and fully sealed ducts maintain air pressure over long runs, unlike on-site cutting which bleeds pressure away.
