When duct quality makes the difference

  1. 1

    Duct losing cold air

An open seam or an unsealed joint loses cold air before it reaches the room. We close every seam with Foster sealant in the workshop before shipping, so the seal does not depend on site work alone.

  2. 2

    Condensation wetting the ceiling

In Jeddah's humid air any bare metal surface sweats and drips onto the ceiling or damages the unit insulation. We wrap with Kimmco or Armaflex at the thickness the site calls for.

  3. 3

A project with many duct runs

A villa or commercial building needs main trunks, branches and plenums in several sizes. We make sections in the workshop numbered to the site plan, so the hanging crew assembles without cutting or adjusting.

Who it's for

  • Replacing your villa's AC and need new ductwork

We make supply and return trunks and plenums to your villa's dimensions, insulated and numbered, ready for the hanging crew without any on-site cutting.

How we work

How we work

  1. 1

    Send sizes or drawings

Send us the duct drawing or a list of section sizes. If sizes are not fixed yet, we agree a site survey before production starts.

  2. 2

    Review sizes and sheet gauge

We check each section's dimensions and pick the right sheet thickness for the duct size, then confirm quantities with you before cutting begins.

  3. 3

    Fabricate, seal and insulate

We cut and fold the G90 galvanised sheet, lock the seams with Foster sealant, and wrap each section with Kimmco or Armaflex insulation in the workshop before shipment.

  4. 4

    Number and deliver

We mark each section with its position and dimension from the site plan, so the hanging team identifies every piece without confusion and starts work on arrival.

Ductwork, rooftop units and diffusers, from work we've completed in Jeddah.

  • Galvanized rectangular duct trunk with branch takeoffs and round diffusers, hung from a black ceiling, a Carrier unit visible behind — interior finishing stage.
  • Round diffusers and a spiral duct trunk in a tiled stairwell service shaft.
  • Rooftop ductwork and an exhaust fan, with Jeddah buildings in the background.
  • Rooftop packaged AC units with rectangular duct transitions, city buildings behind.
  • Insulated rooftop duct run beside a packaged unit, a warehouse roof in the background.
  • A grid of round diffusers in an open-plan office ceiling, mid-construction.
  • An insulated rooftop duct elbow, against a mountainous backdrop.
  • Large insulated ductwork running along a factory ceiling, with workers visible below.
  • A yellow round diffuser mid-installation, with spiral duct and a suspended ceiling grid.
  • Duct insulation wrap in progress on a construction site, bare duct still exposed.
  • A black-painted duct trunk with round diffusers and track lighting, in a finished retail interior.

What sets this district apart

Al Yaqoot is a relatively modern district with spacious villas and spread-out commercial buildings, and many new projects come with central AC systems running long duct runs across large floor areas. Cutting ducts on site leaves gaps and surfaces where moisture condenses in Jeddah's hot humid air, reducing system efficiency and increasing cold-air loss. Manufacturing ducts beforehand in the workshop, with full insulation and Foster-sealed seams, keeps the system airtight and efficient from first startup.

Al Yaqoot is in north Jeddah, a district of modern villas and commercial buildings spread across wide open spaces.

Most new villas and commercial buildings here need long central duct runs covering multiple floors or sections, which calls for precision in manufacture.

The AC setup in Al Yaqoot

  1. 1

Central ducts for large distribution systems

The large villas and commercial buildings here need strong main ducts with distributed branches, and pre-manufacturing ensures precise calculation of pressure and air distribution.

  2. 2

    Combined acoustic and thermal insulation

Factory-made ducts come fully insulated against heat loss and noise, important in the modern villas and small hotels in Al Yaqoot.

  3. 3

Numbered sections ready for straightforward assembly

Each section arrives with clear labelling and connection instructions, helping the installation team finish the project accurately and on time.

Before the visit

Before our visit in Al Yaqoot

  1. 1

    Get the full engineering plan

Send us the project drawing with exact dimensions and the location of indoor and outdoor units before we start manufacturing.

  2. 2

    Confirm storage and delivery space

Make sure the site has safe space to store the manufactured sections before installation, and confirm the truck access point.

  3. 3

Coordinate with the installation team and contractor

Brief the contractor and installation team on the delivery date so they are ready, and make sure a technician is available to check connections with us.

FAQ

Questions about AC duct manufacturing

How do you make sure the duct does not leak air at the seams?

We close the long seams with a tight mechanical lock as the sheet is formed, then seal every seam and every joint between sections with Foster sealant before insulating. Sections leave the workshop with matching flanges that tighten evenly when hung, because any small gap in cold duct means lost air and a point where condensation forms.

Does the duct arrive ready to hang, or is it assembled on site?

Sections arrive fabricated, insulated, sealed and numbered to the route drawing, so the fitters know where each piece goes without cutting or altering on site. What is left on site is joining the sections, fixing them to the hangers and connecting the unit and outlets, which shortens the work above the ceiling.

Do you make plenums for cassette and cabinet units?

Yes, we fabricate plenums for both types. A cassette unit plenum is measured to match the unit's outlet frame exactly so air reaches the branch runs without leaking at the connection. A cabinet unit plenum is made to carry both the supply and return paths if the design calls for it. Both types are insulated with Kimmco or Armaflex and sealed with Foster sealant before they leave the workshop.

Can you manufacture duct for a large commercial project?

Yes. The workshop is equipped to fabricate large supply and return trunk runs suited to commercial, government and industrial buildings. Each section is made to the project drawings, numbered and delivered ready to hang after insulation and sealing. When engineering drawings are available, the technical team reviews them before fabrication starts to confirm that the duct dimensions fit the ceiling voids on site.

Why are the duct sections insulated in the workshop before delivery?

The duct carries cold air through a ceiling void that may be hot and humid. Without external insulation, water vapour condenses on the cold sheet and drips onto the false ceiling or the goods below. So each section is wrapped in Kimmco or Armaflex in our workshop and every edge and joint is sealed with Foster sealant before delivery.

Why is workshop manufacturing better than cutting ducts on site?

On-site cutting leaves gaps that leak cold air and increase moisture, while pre-made ducts arrive fully sealed, insulated and ready to install straight away.

Do you install the ducts after manufacturing them?

We manufacture the ducts numbered and ready, and installation is done by the AC or general contractor team under our supervision to ensure correct connection.

Jeddah is very humid, does full insulation protect against moisture condensation?

Yes, full insulation with Foster-sealed seams prevents cold-air leakage and stops moisture condensing on the duct's outer surface.

Large projects here need complex duct layouts, how do you handle them?

We take the engineering plan and precise dimensions from the contractor, manufacture the different sections with clear numbering to make installation and correct connection straightforward.
