When duct quality makes the difference

  1. 1

    Duct losing cold air

An open seam or an unsealed joint loses cold air before it reaches the room. We close every seam with Foster sealant in the workshop before shipping, so the seal does not depend on site work alone.

  2. 2

    Condensation wetting the ceiling

In Jeddah's humid air any bare metal surface sweats and drips onto the ceiling or damages the unit insulation. We wrap with Kimmco or Armaflex at the thickness the site calls for.

  3. 3

A project with many duct runs

A villa or commercial building needs main trunks, branches and plenums in several sizes. We make sections in the workshop numbered to the site plan, so the hanging crew assembles without cutting or adjusting.

Who it's for

  • Replacing your villa's AC and need new ductwork

We make supply and return trunks and plenums to your villa's dimensions, insulated and numbered, ready for the hanging crew without any on-site cutting.

How we work

How we work

  1. 1

    Send sizes or drawings

Send us the duct drawing or a list of section sizes. If sizes are not fixed yet, we agree a site survey before production starts.

  2. 2

    Review sizes and sheet gauge

We check each section's dimensions and pick the right sheet thickness for the duct size, then confirm quantities with you before cutting begins.

  3. 3

    Fabricate, seal and insulate

We cut and fold the G90 galvanised sheet, lock the seams with Foster sealant, and wrap each section with Kimmco or Armaflex insulation in the workshop before shipment.

  4. 4

    Number and deliver

We mark each section with its position and dimension from the site plan, so the hanging team identifies every piece without confusion and starts work on arrival.

What sets this district apart

Al Sulaimaniyah houses tall residential buildings, modern hotels and commercial structures with complex central AC systems. The interiors are spacious and suspended ceilings deep, allowing branched duct runs without design pressure. Hand-cut ducts on site create gaps and air leakage that significantly reduce efficiency, while pre-made ducts offer high precision and full insulation that preserves system performance.

Al Sulaimaniyah lies in central Jeddah, a district of tall residential towers, hotels and modern commercial buildings.

AC systems here are typically central with branched ducts and multiple distribution outlets that require high precision in manufacture and sealing.

The AC setup in Al Sulaimaniyah

  1. 1

Thick main trunks with fine distribution branches

The system starts with a heavy main trunk that branches into smaller ducts distributing air to hotel floors or residential units.

  2. 2

Dynamic insulation handling large temperature differentials

Ducts operate under large temperature differentials between the cold air inside and exterior heat, so we use thick insulation and tight sealing.

  3. 3

Strong metal connections between different sections

We use tight metal connections between duct sections to prevent separation or air leakage at the joints.

Before the visit

Before our visit in Al Sulaimaniyah

  1. 1

Obtain the full architectural system drawing

Request a clear drawing from the project engineer showing the building's ceilings, planned ducts and outlet locations.

  2. 2

Ensure safety in ceilings and passages

Check the suspended ceilings and passages where ducts will run to ensure no obstacles or safety hazards exist before installation begins.

  3. 3

Coordinate all parties on the installation schedule

Agree with the hotel or building management and contractor on a precise installation date that avoids disrupting essential operations and daily functions.

FAQ

Questions about AC duct manufacturing

How do you make sure the duct does not leak air at the seams?

We close the long seams with a tight mechanical lock as the sheet is formed, then seal every seam and every joint between sections with Foster sealant before insulating. Sections leave the workshop with matching flanges that tighten evenly when hung, because any small gap in cold duct means lost air and a point where condensation forms.

Does the duct arrive ready to hang, or is it assembled on site?

Sections arrive fabricated, insulated, sealed and numbered to the route drawing, so the fitters know where each piece goes without cutting or altering on site. What is left on site is joining the sections, fixing them to the hangers and connecting the unit and outlets, which shortens the work above the ceiling.

Do you make plenums for cassette and cabinet units?

Yes, we fabricate plenums for both types. A cassette unit plenum is measured to match the unit's outlet frame exactly so air reaches the branch runs without leaking at the connection. A cabinet unit plenum is made to carry both the supply and return paths if the design calls for it. Both types are insulated with Kimmco or Armaflex and sealed with Foster sealant before they leave the workshop.

Can you manufacture duct for a large commercial project?

Yes. The workshop is equipped to fabricate large supply and return trunk runs suited to commercial, government and industrial buildings. Each section is made to the project drawings, numbered and delivered ready to hang after insulation and sealing. When engineering drawings are available, the technical team reviews them before fabrication starts to confirm that the duct dimensions fit the ceiling voids on site.

Why are the duct sections insulated in the workshop before delivery?

The duct carries cold air through a ceiling void that may be hot and humid. Without external insulation, water vapour condenses on the cold sheet and drips onto the false ceiling or the goods below. So each section is wrapped in Kimmco or Armaflex in our workshop and every edge and joint is sealed with Foster sealant before delivery.

Do large hotel and tower AC systems need custom-made ducts?

Yes, each large project has unique dimensions and space distribution, and manufacturing ducts in our workshop to those specs ensures perfect fit and zero leakage.

Hotels and tall buildings have intricate interiors, how do you get the ducts to the ceilings?

We coordinate with the project team and site engineer to plan safe transport routes from the exterior to suspended ceilings without disrupting daily operations.

How do insulated ducts here handle Jeddah's extreme heat and humidity?

Full insulation and Foster sealing maintain the air temperature inside the duct and prevent condensation even in Jeddah's harshest climate conditions.

Do deep suspended ceilings affect how ducts are manufactured?

Depth affects duct length and branch angles, so we need the precise project drawing to manufacture ducts with correct lengths and angles. Send the drawing on WhatsApp.
