When duct quality makes the difference
- 1
Duct losing cold air
An open seam or an unsealed joint loses cold air before it reaches the room. We close every seam with Foster sealant in the workshop before shipping, so the seal does not depend on site work alone.
- 2
Condensation wetting the ceiling
In Jeddah's humid air any bare metal surface sweats and drips onto the ceiling or damages the unit insulation. We wrap with Kimmco or Armaflex at the thickness the site calls for.
- 3
A project with many duct runs
A villa or commercial building needs main trunks, branches and plenums in several sizes. We make sections in the workshop numbered to the site plan, so the hanging crew assembles without cutting or adjusting.
Who it's for
Replacing your villa's AC and need new ductwork
We make supply and return trunks and plenums to your villa's dimensions, insulated and numbered, ready for the hanging crew without any on-site cutting.
Ask on WhatsAppRunning a commercial fit-out that needs duct runs
We take your project drawings and produce numbered sections in batches matched to your site schedule, so the hanging crew is never waiting on supply.

How we work
How we work
- 1
Send sizes or drawings
Send us the duct drawing or a list of section sizes. If sizes are not fixed yet, we agree a site survey before production starts.
- 2
Review sizes and sheet gauge
We check each section's dimensions and pick the right sheet thickness for the duct size, then confirm quantities with you before cutting begins.
- 3
Fabricate, seal and insulate
We cut and fold the G90 galvanised sheet, lock the seams with Foster sealant, and wrap each section with Kimmco or Armaflex insulation in the workshop before shipment.
- 4
Number and deliver
We mark each section with its position and dimension from the site plan, so the hanging team identifies every piece without confusion and starts work on arrival.
Workshop-made or site-cut duct?

| Insulation | Kimmco or Armaflex fully wrapped | Partial or delayed wrap |
| Sheet gauge | Chosen for each duct size | One gauge for everything |
| Assembly time | Numbered, assembled straight away | Cut and adjust on site |
| Joint fit | Workshop dimensions close every joint | Hand trimming breaks the seal |

What sets this district apart
Al Wadi is an emerging district mixing mid-rise residential blocks with tall buildings that need complex central air systems to distribute cooling across multiple storeys. These vertical structures demand very long ducts and intricate branches, and poor on-site cutting and sealing cause cold loss over long runs and uneven cooling between floors. Pre-manufacturing ducts with exact dimensions and sealing every joint in the workshop ensures balanced, efficient airflow to all storeys.
Al Wadi lies in southern Jeddah, characterised by modern residential projects ranging from mid-rise blocks to tall multi-storey buildings.
Most tall buildings in Al Wadi use rooftop package units or central chillers with complex branch duct runs reaching each floor.
The AC setup in Al Wadi
- 1
Extended multi-storey vertical duct runs
Tall buildings in Al Wadi need long vertical ducts from the roof down through all storeys, and pre-manufacturing ensures lengths and diameters align perfectly.
- 2
Distribution plenums on each floor or floor group
Tall buildings use plenums to split air between floor-level units, and tight manufacturing prevents air leaking between branches.
- 3
Heavy insulation against site humidity and long duct runs
Jeddah's humidity and extended duct lengths require heavy insulation to prevent cold loss and condensation on cold surfaces.
Before the visit
Before our visit in Al Wadi
- 1
Obtain the complete building plan with measurements
Before the visit, bring the final architectural plan showing floor heights, vertical spaces and passages, as these determine duct lengths precisely.
- 2
Ensure safe access to roofs and vertical passages
Open all vertical passages and roofs that ducts will traverse, and ensure our team can access, measure and install them safely.
- 3
Confirm main unit and equipment rooms on each floor
Tell us the locations of main units and branches on roofs and equipment rooms if any, as these determine main duct connection points and branch routing.

FAQ
Questions about AC duct manufacturing
How do you make sure the duct does not leak air at the seams?
We close the long seams with a tight mechanical lock as the sheet is formed, then seal every seam and every joint between sections with Foster sealant before insulating. Sections leave the workshop with matching flanges that tighten evenly when hung, because any small gap in cold duct means lost air and a point where condensation forms.
Does the duct arrive ready to hang, or is it assembled on site?
Sections arrive fabricated, insulated, sealed and numbered to the route drawing, so the fitters know where each piece goes without cutting or altering on site. What is left on site is joining the sections, fixing them to the hangers and connecting the unit and outlets, which shortens the work above the ceiling.
Do you make plenums for cassette and cabinet units?
Yes, we fabricate plenums for both types. A cassette unit plenum is measured to match the unit's outlet frame exactly so air reaches the branch runs without leaking at the connection. A cabinet unit plenum is made to carry both the supply and return paths if the design calls for it. Both types are insulated with Kimmco or Armaflex and sealed with Foster sealant before they leave the workshop.
Can you manufacture duct for a large commercial project?
Yes. The workshop is equipped to fabricate large supply and return trunk runs suited to commercial, government and industrial buildings. Each section is made to the project drawings, numbered and delivered ready to hang after insulation and sealing. When engineering drawings are available, the technical team reviews them before fabrication starts to confirm that the duct dimensions fit the ceiling voids on site.
Why are the duct sections insulated in the workshop before delivery?
The duct carries cold air through a ceiling void that may be hot and humid. Without external insulation, water vapour condenses on the cold sheet and drips onto the false ceiling or the goods below. So each section is wrapped in Kimmco or Armaflex in our workshop and every edge and joint is sealed with Foster sealant before delivery.
Our building is tall with many floors, how do you balance cooling across all levels?
We manufacture separate branch ducts for each floor or floor groups, with distribution plenums that control airflow precisely. Each branch is sealed and balanced through engineering calculations before installation.
The ducts run long distances, will we lose cooling en route?
Long ducts lose cooling if not fully sealed and insulated. We seal every seam with Foster sealant and fully insulate all ducts to minimise loss over extended runs.
Our building has tight spaces between storeys, can the ducts fit through?
Measuring the available space on each floor is essential before manufacturing. We visit the site, identify passages and gaps, and build ducts with sections tailored to those constraints exactly.
Our building site has high humidity, will the ducts corrode inside?
Full insulation prevents condensation inside the ducts from coastal humidity. We use high-quality insulation to keep ducts intact even in damp conditions.
