When duct quality makes the difference
- 1
Duct losing cold air
An open seam or an unsealed joint loses cold air before it reaches the room. We close every seam with Foster sealant in the workshop before shipping, so the seal does not depend on site work alone.
- 2
Condensation wetting the ceiling
In Jeddah's humid air any bare metal surface sweats and drips onto the ceiling or damages the unit insulation. We wrap with Kimmco or Armaflex at the thickness the site calls for.
- 3
A project with many duct runs
A villa or commercial building needs main trunks, branches and plenums in several sizes. We make sections in the workshop numbered to the site plan, so the hanging crew assembles without cutting or adjusting.
Who it's for
Replacing your villa's AC and need new ductwork
We make supply and return trunks and plenums to your villa's dimensions, insulated and numbered, ready for the hanging crew without any on-site cutting.
Ask on WhatsAppRunning a commercial fit-out that needs duct runs
We take your project drawings and produce numbered sections in batches matched to your site schedule, so the hanging crew is never waiting on supply.

How we work
How we work
- 1
Send sizes or drawings
Send us the duct drawing or a list of section sizes. If sizes are not fixed yet, we agree a site survey before production starts.
- 2
Review sizes and sheet gauge
We check each section's dimensions and pick the right sheet thickness for the duct size, then confirm quantities with you before cutting begins.
- 3
Fabricate, seal and insulate
We cut and fold the G90 galvanised sheet, lock the seams with Foster sealant, and wrap each section with Kimmco or Armaflex insulation in the workshop before shipment.
- 4
Number and deliver
We mark each section with its position and dimension from the site plan, so the hanging team identifies every piece without confusion and starts work on arrival.
Workshop-made or site-cut duct?
| Alrabih | The usual way | |

| Sealing | Foster on every seam in workshop | Uneven site sealing |
| Insulation | Kimmco or Armaflex fully wrapped | Partial or delayed wrap |
| Sheet gauge | Chosen for each duct size | One gauge for everything |
| Assembly time | Numbered, assembled straight away | Cut and adjust on site |
| Joint fit | Workshop dimensions close every joint | Hand trimming breaks the seal |

What sets this district apart
Harat Al Mazloum is an old district of closely packed buildings with narrow facades and tight gaps between floors and walls, making it hard to fit standard ducts without on-site cutting and modification. Hand-cutting ducts on site leaves leaks and cold-air loss, especially since the coastal humidity accelerates condensation on unsealed surfaces. Pre-manufacturing ducts in the workshop to tight dimensions and full sealing solves both the leak and condensation problem and allows quicker fitting in these narrow tower cavities.
Harat Al Mazloum sits in Jeddah's historic downtown, a district of old closely packed residential towers with limited gaps between walls.
Most towers here have narrow vertical cavities between flats, and ducts run through low suspended ceilings with very limited depth.
The AC setup in Harat Al Mazloum
- 1
Short horizontal ducts per flat
The narrow towers here need short horizontal ducts extending from the main unit to each flat with minimum overall length.
- 2
Fully sealed joints with Foster sealant
Every joint between duct sections comes sealed from the workshop so no leak points remain in these tight cavities.
- 3
Heavy insulation to prevent condensation on low ceilings
The low suspended ceilings cause rapid condensation, so we use very heavy insulation on all ducts to keep surfaces dry.
Before the visit
Before our visit in Harat Al Mazloum
- 1
Measure the cavity dimensions carefully
Measure the depth of the inter-floor cavity and the width of the wall passage precisely and send the dimensions before manufacturing begins.
- 2
Photo the planned duct route
Take a photo of the ceilings and cavities where the ducts will run and send it via WhatsApp so we understand the tightness exactly.
- 3
Ensure access to the main unit location
Check that the main unit location allows duct installation around it without obstruction before the fitting day.

FAQ
Questions about AC duct manufacturing
How do you make sure the duct does not leak air at the seams?
We close the long seams with a tight mechanical lock as the sheet is formed, then seal every seam and every joint between sections with Foster sealant before insulating. Sections leave the workshop with matching flanges that tighten evenly when hung, because any small gap in cold duct means lost air and a point where condensation forms.
Does the duct arrive ready to hang, or is it assembled on site?
Sections arrive fabricated, insulated, sealed and numbered to the route drawing, so the fitters know where each piece goes without cutting or altering on site. What is left on site is joining the sections, fixing them to the hangers and connecting the unit and outlets, which shortens the work above the ceiling.
Do you make plenums for cassette and cabinet units?
Yes, we fabricate plenums for both types. A cassette unit plenum is measured to match the unit's outlet frame exactly so air reaches the branch runs without leaking at the connection. A cabinet unit plenum is made to carry both the supply and return paths if the design calls for it. Both types are insulated with Kimmco or Armaflex and sealed with Foster sealant before they leave the workshop.
Can you manufacture duct for a large commercial project?
Yes. The workshop is equipped to fabricate large supply and return trunk runs suited to commercial, government and industrial buildings. Each section is made to the project drawings, numbered and delivered ready to hang after insulation and sealing. When engineering drawings are available, the technical team reviews them before fabrication starts to confirm that the duct dimensions fit the ceiling voids on site.
Why are the duct sections insulated in the workshop before delivery?
The duct carries cold air through a ceiling void that may be hot and humid. Without external insulation, water vapour condenses on the cold sheet and drips onto the false ceiling or the goods below. So each section is wrapped in Kimmco or Armaflex in our workshop and every edge and joint is sealed with Foster sealant before delivery.
The building is old and the spaces are very tight, can you fit central ducts?
Yes, we manufacture ducts to very tight dimensions matching the building's exact cavities, fitting between floors and walls without any on-site cutting.
The flats are very close together, how do you distribute cold air to each?
We manufacture very short horizontal ducts for each flat with measured distribution openings, and seal every joint to prevent air leakage between units.
Humidity here is very high and mould forms quickly, are the ducts insulated against moisture?
Yes, every duct is insulated with moisture-barrier material and every seam is sealed with Foster sealant before delivery to prevent moisture and mould.
The old building's power is weak, does this affect duct installation?
Duct installation itself does not need extra power, but we confirm the main unit is connected to a dedicated strong circuit before it runs.
