When duct quality makes the difference

  1. 1

    Duct losing cold air

An open seam or an unsealed joint loses cold air before it reaches the room. We close every seam with Foster sealant in the workshop before shipping, so the seal does not depend on site work alone.

  2. 2

    Condensation wetting the ceiling

In Jeddah's humid air any bare metal surface sweats and drips onto the ceiling or damages the unit insulation. We wrap with Kimmco or Armaflex at the thickness the site calls for.

  3. 3

A project with many duct runs

A villa or commercial building needs main trunks, branches and plenums in several sizes. We make sections in the workshop numbered to the site plan, so the hanging crew assembles without cutting or adjusting.

Who it's for

  • Replacing your villa's AC and need new ductwork

We make supply and return trunks and plenums to your villa's dimensions, insulated and numbered, ready for the hanging crew without any on-site cutting.

How we work

How we work

  1. 1

    Send sizes or drawings

Send us the duct drawing or a list of section sizes. If sizes are not fixed yet, we agree a site survey before production starts.

  2. 2

    Review sizes and sheet gauge

We check each section's dimensions and pick the right sheet thickness for the duct size, then confirm quantities with you before cutting begins.

  3. 3

    Fabricate, seal and insulate

We cut and fold the G90 galvanised sheet, lock the seams with Foster sealant, and wrap each section with Kimmco or Armaflex insulation in the workshop before shipment.

  4. 4

    Number and deliver

We mark each section with its position and dimension from the site plan, so the hanging team identifies every piece without confusion and starts work on arrival.

Some of our work

Ductwork, rooftop units and diffusers, from work we've completed in Jeddah.

  • Galvanized rectangular duct trunk with branch takeoffs and round diffusers, hung from a black ceiling, a Carrier unit visible behind — interior finishing stage.
  • Round diffusers and a spiral duct trunk in a tiled stairwell service shaft.
  • Rooftop ductwork and an exhaust fan, with Jeddah buildings in the background.
  • Rooftop packaged AC units with rectangular duct transitions, city buildings behind.
  • Insulated rooftop duct run beside a packaged unit, a warehouse roof in the background.
  • A grid of round diffusers in an open-plan office ceiling, mid-construction.
  • An insulated rooftop duct elbow, against a mountainous backdrop.
  • Large insulated ductwork running along a factory ceiling, with workers visible below.
  • A yellow round diffuser mid-installation, with spiral duct and a suspended ceiling grid.
  • Duct insulation wrap in progress on a construction site, bare duct still exposed.
  • A black-painted duct trunk with round diffusers and track lighting, in a finished retail interior.
  • An indoor AHU unit connected to round ductwork in a mechanical plant room, exposed concrete ceiling.

What sets this district apart

Muraykh is a developed area with spacious villas and modern residential blocks featuring varied architectural designs, most relying on central or semi-central AC to cover large spaces. Factory-made ducts prevent cold-air leakage and condensation on inner surfaces, essential because Jeddah's coastal humidity makes moisture buildup and mould more likely in on-site cut ducts.

Muraykh is in East Jeddah, a developed area of spacious villas and residential blocks with orderly urban planning.

Most modern villas and apartment blocks in Muraykh use central AC units rather than multiple splits, so they need a comprehensive and airtight duct system.

The AC setup in Muraykh

  1. 1

    Central ducts for large villas

Large villas in Muraykh need a central duct system distributing cold air from one or two units evenly to all rooms.

  2. 2

    Multi-zone ducts for apartment blocks

Modern apartment blocks often need more than one AC zone, so we make separate duct systems per zone to match the design.

  3. 3

Full insulation to prevent coastal condensation

Each duct is wrapped in thick insulation with tight seals at every joint, protecting the internal structure from moisture and condensation in Jeddah's coastal climate.

Before the visit

Before our visit in Muraykh

  1. 1

    Bring the project architectural drawings

Site plans and sections help us understand the duct runs and dimensions accurately before we start manufacturing.

  2. 2

Confirm the indoor and outdoor unit locations

We need the exact positions of indoor and outdoor units to calculate duct lengths and distribution routes.

  3. 3

Ensure team access to foundation and roof areas

Ducts typically run through foundation and roof spaces, so make sure our team can access these areas safely before the visit.

FAQ

Questions about AC duct manufacturing

How do you make sure the duct does not leak air at the seams?

We close the long seams with a tight mechanical lock as the sheet is formed, then seal every seam and every joint between sections with Foster sealant before insulating. Sections leave the workshop with matching flanges that tighten evenly when hung, because any small gap in cold duct means lost air and a point where condensation forms.

Does the duct arrive ready to hang, or is it assembled on site?

Sections arrive fabricated, insulated, sealed and numbered to the route drawing, so the fitters know where each piece goes without cutting or altering on site. What is left on site is joining the sections, fixing them to the hangers and connecting the unit and outlets, which shortens the work above the ceiling.

Do you make plenums for cassette and cabinet units?

Yes, we fabricate plenums for both types. A cassette unit plenum is measured to match the unit's outlet frame exactly so air reaches the branch runs without leaking at the connection. A cabinet unit plenum is made to carry both the supply and return paths if the design calls for it. Both types are insulated with Kimmco or Armaflex and sealed with Foster sealant before they leave the workshop.

Can you manufacture duct for a large commercial project?

Yes. The workshop is equipped to fabricate large supply and return trunk runs suited to commercial, government and industrial buildings. Each section is made to the project drawings, numbered and delivered ready to hang after insulation and sealing. When engineering drawings are available, the technical team reviews them before fabrication starts to confirm that the duct dimensions fit the ceiling voids on site.

Why are the duct sections insulated in the workshop before delivery?

The duct carries cold air through a ceiling void that may be hot and humid. Without external insulation, water vapour condenses on the cold sheet and drips onto the false ceiling or the goods below. So each section is wrapped in Kimmco or Armaflex in our workshop and every edge and joint is sealed with Foster sealant before delivery.

Are workshop-made ducts better than those cut on site?

Yes, workshop-made ducts are sealed at every joint with Foster sealant and fully wrapped in insulation, whereas on-site cutting leaves gaps where cold air leaks and moisture forms in Jeddah's humid climate.

My project has AC units in different locations, do you make ducts for each zone?

Yes, we design and manufacture ducts to match your units' locations and distribution needs, from the main trunk through branches and returns.

The coastal humidity worries me about condensation, does the insulation protect against it?

Full insulation on the ducts significantly reduces condensation, but the seal integrity at every joint is fundamental, and that is what we ensure on every duct we make.

How do you handle duct runs when the project has complex varied architectural designs?

We visit the site beforehand, take exact measurements and project drawings, then number each duct section by its position, so they arrive ready to hang in their right places.
