Who needs workshop-fabricated duct?

  1. 1

    A contractor with project-specific sizes

Your project has non-standard sizes or volumes too large for site cutting. We fabricate rectangular and round sections from your drawings at exact dimensions, labelled and ready to hang when they reach the site.

  2. 2

Fittings too awkward to cut on site

Elbows, transitions, offsets and takeoffs come out distorted when cut by hand on site, leaking air and creating noise in the line. We make them in the workshop at the right dimensions with tight seams.

  3. 3

Extending or renovating an existing duct network

You need new branches, a damaged section replaced or a fitting that matches an old duct size. We measure the existing network on site and fabricate the pieces to match what is already there.

Who it's for

  • Building a facility that needs non-standard duct sizes

We read your project drawings and fabricate all sections and fittings at exact dimensions from G90 or aluminium sheet, labelled and ready to hang the moment they reach your site.

How we work

How we work

  1. 1

    Take measurements

A technician visits the site or you send us the drawings; we list every duct section needed, its size and the correct sheet thickness for that section.

  2. 2

    Fabricate sections and fittings

We cut, form and lock the sheet in the workshop, including all elbows, transitions, offsets and takeoffs, and each section comes out at its exact dimension.

  3. 3

    Label and prepare for delivery

We number every section and fitting against the assembly plan so the installation crew knows exactly where each piece goes, with no guessing on site.

  4. 4

    Deliver to site

We deliver the duct to your Jeddah site protected and ready to hang. If you need an installation crew, we can arrange that as a separate step.

Some of our work

Ductwork, rooftop units and diffusers, from work we've completed in Jeddah.

  • Galvanized rectangular duct trunk with branch takeoffs and round diffusers, hung from a black ceiling, a Carrier unit visible behind — interior finishing stage.
  • Round diffusers and a spiral duct trunk in a tiled stairwell service shaft.
  • Rooftop ductwork and an exhaust fan, with Jeddah buildings in the background.
  • Rooftop packaged AC units with rectangular duct transitions, city buildings behind.
  • Insulated rooftop duct run beside a packaged unit, a warehouse roof in the background.
  • A grid of round diffusers in an open-plan office ceiling, mid-construction.
  • An insulated rooftop duct elbow, against a mountainous backdrop.
  • Large insulated ductwork running along a factory ceiling, with workers visible below.
  • A yellow round diffuser mid-installation, with spiral duct and a suspended ceiling grid.
  • Duct insulation wrap in progress on a construction site, bare duct still exposed.
  • A black-painted duct trunk with round diffusers and track lighting, in a finished retail interior.
  • An indoor AHU unit connected to round ductwork in a mechanical plant room, exposed concrete ceiling.

Don't see your district?Message us. We most likely cover it.

What sets this district apart

Al Buddur is a relatively modern eastern district of mid and high-rise apartment blocks, a large shopping centre, schools and clinics. All these buildings rely on central AC, and the duct must run through false ceilings across multiple units and distribute air evenly. On-site fabrication cannot deliver the precision needed for complex transitions and varying diameters. Our workshop manufactures each piece to accurate drawings and site measurements, arriving ready to hang with no gaps or misalignments.

Al Buddur is in east Jeddah, a district of modern apartment blocks, a large shopping centre and public buildings including schools and clinics.

Most projects in Al Buddur need rectangular duct that distributes air from a single central unit across several floors and wings.

The AC setup in Al Buddur

  1. 1

    Multi-storey distribution rectangular duct

The apartment blocks and shopping centre in Al Buddur need complex rectangular duct branching from one central unit across multiple floors.

  2. 2

    Multiple transitions and takeoffs

The duct includes many takeoffs and graduated elbows to distribute air evenly across all wings and units.

  3. 3

    Cleaning ports and mounting brackets

We design regular cleaning ports along the duct and provide sturdy mounting brackets for false ceilings.

Before the visit

Before our visit in Al Buddur

  1. 1

    Obtain complete HVAC drawings

Before fabrication starts, ensure you have complete HVAC drawings from the engineer showing duct runs, diameters and takeoffs.

  2. 2

Fix project delivery point and timing

Coordinate with project management on a safe delivery point and pickup timing that fits the installation schedule.

  3. 3

Confirm receiving team and temporary storage

Make sure the installation team will be present at delivery and there is a safe temporary location to store the duct before hanging.

FAQ

Questions about Duct fabrication

Can you fabricate from drawings without visiting the site?

Yes, when the drawings are clear and carry the actual as-built dimensions. If a dimension is uncertain or a field change has been made, we prefer a site visit to avoid a fabricated piece that does not fit. We discuss the better approach with you before starting work.

What is the difference between galvanized and aluminium sheet for duct?

G90 galvanized sheet is the standard choice for interior duct: strong and suited to a range of pressures. Aluminium is lighter and handles Jeddah's coastal humidity and salt air better, making it right for some exposed applications or where structural load is a limiting factor. The correct choice depends on the site.

Can you make elbows and transitions to match an existing duct network?

Yes. We measure the existing network on site to match sizes precisely, whether you need a new branch added, a damaged fitting replaced or an extension tied into the original ductwork. The right approach is confirmed after the site visit.

How do you choose sheet thickness for each section?

Thickness follows section size: a large duct needs heavier sheet to hold its shape under pressure, a small one can use lighter material. We apply the SMACNA requirements to each section in the project individually, not a single thickness across the whole job.

Does Jeddah's humidity and salt air affect which sheet material to use?

Yes, particularly for sections exposed to outdoor air or installed near fresh-air intakes. G90 galvanized sheet performs well inside the building, but aluminium is the better choice where duct is in continuous contact with Jeddah's humid, salt-laden air. The site survey determines the right material for each section.

Do you fabricate distribution duct for a large shopping centre?

Yes, we fabricate complex distribution duct from a single chiller unit across multiple floors and shops. We take precise measurements and deliver the duct ready-hung with no fitting errors.

The shopping centre has varying ceiling heights, how do you handle that?

We measure each section separately and fabricate duct matching the ceiling height in each area. This ensures installation without on-site modifications.

Does eastern heat and humidity degrade the duct over time?

We use high-grade galvanized sheet that resists corrosion and humidity. Material choice depends on the project requirements and the surrounding environment.

The duct needs regular cleaning, is it easy to access from inside?

We design the duct with access ports for cleaning according to operational standards. We confirm port locations with the engineer before fabrication.
