Who needs workshop-fabricated duct?

  1. 1

    A contractor with project-specific sizes

Your project has non-standard sizes or volumes too large for site cutting. We fabricate rectangular and round sections from your drawings at exact dimensions, labelled and ready to hang when they reach the site.

  2. 2

Fittings too awkward to cut on site

Elbows, transitions, offsets and takeoffs come out distorted when cut by hand on site, leaking air and creating noise in the line. We make them in the workshop at the right dimensions with tight seams.

  3. 3

Extending or renovating an existing duct network

You need new branches, a damaged section replaced or a fitting that matches an old duct size. We measure the existing network on site and fabricate the pieces to match what is already there.

Who it's for

  • Building a facility that needs non-standard duct sizes

We read your project drawings and fabricate all sections and fittings at exact dimensions from G90 or aluminium sheet, labelled and ready to hang the moment they reach your site.

  • Renovating home AC and need fittings to match old duct

We measure the existing ductwork in your home and fabricate the branches, transitions and elbows needed to match the original duct without replacing the whole network.

How we work

How we work

  1. 1

    Take measurements

A technician visits the site or you send us the drawings; we list every duct section needed, its size and the correct sheet thickness for that section.

  2. 2

    Fabricate sections and fittings

We cut, form and lock the sheet in the workshop, including all elbows, transitions, offsets and takeoffs, and each section comes out at its exact dimension.

  3. 3

    Label and prepare for delivery

We number every section and fitting against the assembly plan so the installation crew knows exactly where each piece goes, with no guessing on site.

  4. 4

    Deliver to site

We deliver the duct to your Jeddah site protected and ready to hang. If you need an installation crew, we can arrange that as a separate step.

Some of our work

Ductwork, rooftop units and diffusers, from work we've completed in Jeddah.

  • Galvanized rectangular duct trunk with branch takeoffs and round diffusers, hung from a black ceiling, a Carrier unit visible behind — interior finishing stage.
  • Round diffusers and a spiral duct trunk in a tiled stairwell service shaft.
  • Rooftop ductwork and an exhaust fan, with Jeddah buildings in the background.
  • Rooftop packaged AC units with rectangular duct transitions, city buildings behind.
  • Insulated rooftop duct run beside a packaged unit, a warehouse roof in the background.
  • A grid of round diffusers in an open-plan office ceiling, mid-construction.
  • An insulated rooftop duct elbow, against a mountainous backdrop.
  • Large insulated ductwork running along a factory ceiling, with workers visible below.
  • A yellow round diffuser mid-installation, with spiral duct and a suspended ceiling grid.
  • Duct insulation wrap in progress on a construction site, bare duct still exposed.
  • A black-painted duct trunk with round diffusers and track lighting, in a finished retail interior.

What sets this district apart

Al Fardous is a modern district with luxury residential blocks and commercial projects served by advanced central AC systems across wide areas. Randomly cut on-site duct loses performance and efficiency, while pre-fabrication in the workshop ensures high quality and fast installation with no ad hoc adjustments.

Al Fardous sits in north Jeddah, a modern district of luxury residential blocks with advanced central AC systems.

Most residential and commercial projects in Al Fardous use large-format rectangular duct with multiple branches and complex distribution.

The AC setup in Al Fardous

  1. 1

Large rectangular duct with complex distribution

Luxury projects in Al Fardous need wide rectangular duct covering multiple floors and spaces with efficiency.

  2. 2

Compatible sections for transport and assembly

Large duct divides into standard sections that assemble easily on-site with standard, tight-fitting connections.

  3. 3

    Premium-grade galvanized steel

We use premium G90 galvanized steel to ensure long-term duct durability and freedom from rust and warping.

Before the visit

Before our visit in Al Fardous

  1. 1

    Provide complete AC system plans

Send comprehensive engineering drawings of the AC system including duct routes and architectural voids.

  2. 2

    Clarify the planned installation schedule

Agree on the fabrication and installation schedule according to building progress and project timelines.

  3. 3

Coordinate with the engineering supervision team

Confirm duct specifications align with engineering and quality requirements before fabrication begins.

FAQ

Questions about Duct fabrication

Can you fabricate from drawings without visiting the site?

Yes, when the drawings are clear and carry the actual as-built dimensions. If a dimension is uncertain or a field change has been made, we prefer a site visit to avoid a fabricated piece that does not fit. We discuss the better approach with you before starting work.

What is the difference between galvanized and aluminium sheet for duct?

G90 galvanized sheet is the standard choice for interior duct: strong and suited to a range of pressures. Aluminium is lighter and handles Jeddah's coastal humidity and salt air better, making it right for some exposed applications or where structural load is a limiting factor. The correct choice depends on the site.

Can you make elbows and transitions to match an existing duct network?

Yes. We measure the existing network on site to match sizes precisely, whether you need a new branch added, a damaged fitting replaced or an extension tied into the original ductwork. The right approach is confirmed after the site visit.

How do you choose sheet thickness for each section?

Thickness follows section size: a large duct needs heavier sheet to hold its shape under pressure, a small one can use lighter material. We apply the SMACNA requirements to each section in the project individually, not a single thickness across the whole job.

Does Jeddah's humidity and salt air affect which sheet material to use?

Yes, particularly for sections exposed to outdoor air or installed near fresh-air intakes. G90 galvanized sheet performs well inside the building, but aluminium is the better choice where duct is in continuous contact with Jeddah's humid, salt-laden air. The site survey determines the right material for each section.

Do you fabricate duct to complex engineering drawings?

Yes, we work from precise engineering drawings and coordinate with engineers to ensure the fabricated duct matches the original design.

How do you transport and install large-format duct on big projects?

We fabricate large-format duct in compatible sections that are easy to transport and assemble on-site with tight joints and no air leakage.

Do you work with projects under construction in Al Fardous?

Yes, we measure central AC systems during different construction phases and fabricate duct according to the project's actual progress.

How tight are the joints and transitions in fabricated duct?

All joints are tightly sealed and meet standards for effective distribution with no air loss from gaps or cracks.
