Who needs workshop-fabricated duct?

  1. 1

    A contractor with project-specific sizes

Your project has non-standard sizes or volumes too large for site cutting. We fabricate rectangular and round sections from your drawings at exact dimensions, labelled and ready to hang when they reach the site.

  2. 2

Fittings too awkward to cut on site

Elbows, transitions, offsets and takeoffs come out distorted when cut by hand on site, leaking air and creating noise in the line. We make them in the workshop at the right dimensions with tight seams.

  3. 3

Extending or renovating an existing duct network

You need new branches, a damaged section replaced or a fitting that matches an old duct size. We measure the existing network on site and fabricate the pieces to match what is already there.

Who it's for

  • Building a facility that needs non-standard duct sizes

We read your project drawings and fabricate all sections and fittings at exact dimensions from G90 or aluminium sheet, labelled and ready to hang the moment they reach your site.

  • Renovating home AC and need fittings to match old duct

We measure the existing ductwork in your home and fabricate the branches, transitions and elbows needed to match the original duct without replacing the whole network.

How we work

How we work

  1. 1

    Take measurements

A technician visits the site or you send us the drawings; we list every duct section needed, its size and the correct sheet thickness for that section.

  2. 2

    Fabricate sections and fittings

We cut, form and lock the sheet in the workshop, including all elbows, transitions, offsets and takeoffs, and each section comes out at its exact dimension.

  3. 3

    Label and prepare for delivery

We number every section and fitting against the assembly plan so the installation crew knows exactly where each piece goes, with no guessing on site.

  4. 4

    Deliver to site

We deliver the duct to your Jeddah site protected and ready to hang. If you need an installation crew, we can arrange that as a separate step.

Some of our work

Ductwork, rooftop units and diffusers, from work we've completed in Jeddah.

  • Galvanized rectangular duct trunk with branch takeoffs and round diffusers, hung from a black ceiling, a Carrier unit visible behind — interior finishing stage.
  • Round diffusers and a spiral duct trunk in a tiled stairwell service shaft.
  • Rooftop ductwork and an exhaust fan, with Jeddah buildings in the background.
  • Rooftop packaged AC units with rectangular duct transitions, city buildings behind.
  • Insulated rooftop duct run beside a packaged unit, a warehouse roof in the background.
  • A grid of round diffusers in an open-plan office ceiling, mid-construction.
  • An insulated rooftop duct elbow, against a mountainous backdrop.
  • Large insulated ductwork running along a factory ceiling, with workers visible below.
  • A yellow round diffuser mid-installation, with spiral duct and a suspended ceiling grid.
  • Duct insulation wrap in progress on a construction site, bare duct still exposed.
  • A black-painted duct trunk with round diffusers and track lighting, in a finished retail interior.
  • An indoor AHU unit connected to round ductwork in a mechanical plant room, exposed concrete ceiling.

What sets this district apart

Al Mawaddah is a modern neighbourhood of luxury residential towers and upmarket hotels, where projects feature advanced cooling systems requiring complex duct with very precise dimensions, custom elbows and multiple transitions. On-site duct fabrication cannot meet the precision these systems demand, especially at joints where air loss and energy waste occur, but the workshop delivers high quality with perfect section fit, reducing installation time and on-site commissioning.

Al Mawaddah is in East Jeddah, a newly developed neighbourhood of luxury residential towers and advanced hotels with wide spacing between buildings.

Cooling systems here are high-specification and require duct with very tight tolerances and specialised transitions.

The AC setup in Al Mawaddah

  1. 1

    Advanced insulated duct for hotels

Luxury hotels in Al Mawaddah need high-performance insulated duct to reduce noise and maintain even temperatures across all suites.

  2. 2

    Multi-zone duct networks

Advanced systems need separate duct for each control zone, with independent dampers and balancing valves.

  3. 3

    Custom precision transitions

Luxury buildings may need complex transitions between sections at very tight tolerances, which we fabricate exactly per engineering drawings.

Before the visit

Before our visit in Al Mawaddah

  1. 1

    Obtain detailed engineering drawings

Advanced systems need detailed drawings with every specification; send them before the site visit so we start fabrication with confidence.

  2. 2

Confirm interior passages and voids dimensions

Verify dimensions of passages and voids between floors and walls precisely, as duct accuracy depends on the accuracy of measurements sent to us.

  3. 3

Identify critical installation and junction points

Flag tight or complex areas on site where installation may be challenging, so we ensure the duct fits perfectly.

FAQ

Questions about Duct fabrication

Can you fabricate from drawings without visiting the site?

Yes, when the drawings are clear and carry the actual as-built dimensions. If a dimension is uncertain or a field change has been made, we prefer a site visit to avoid a fabricated piece that does not fit. We discuss the better approach with you before starting work.

What is the difference between galvanized and aluminium sheet for duct?

G90 galvanized sheet is the standard choice for interior duct: strong and suited to a range of pressures. Aluminium is lighter and handles Jeddah's coastal humidity and salt air better, making it right for some exposed applications or where structural load is a limiting factor. The correct choice depends on the site.

Can you make elbows and transitions to match an existing duct network?

Yes. We measure the existing network on site to match sizes precisely, whether you need a new branch added, a damaged fitting replaced or an extension tied into the original ductwork. The right approach is confirmed after the site visit.

How do you choose sheet thickness for each section?

Thickness follows section size: a large duct needs heavier sheet to hold its shape under pressure, a small one can use lighter material. We apply the SMACNA requirements to each section in the project individually, not a single thickness across the whole job.

Does Jeddah's humidity and salt air affect which sheet material to use?

Yes, particularly for sections exposed to outdoor air or installed near fresh-air intakes. G90 galvanized sheet performs well inside the building, but aluminium is the better choice where duct is in continuous contact with Jeddah's humid, salt-laden air. The site survey determines the right material for each section.

Luxury hotels need insulated duct to special specifications, can you handle this?

Yes, we fabricate insulated duct with different insulation thicknesses to specification, using high-grade materials like aluminium with polyurethane or fibreglass insulation.

Do you fabricate elbows at non-standard angles for bespoke systems?

Yes, we fabricate elbows at any required angle per the system engineering drawings, from galvanised steel or aluminium as needed.

Luxury buildings have multi-zone cooling systems, how do you supply duct for them?

We fabricate separate duct networks for each zone, with independent junctions and transitions, each section numbered and with an installation diagram for clarity on site.

Jeddah's high heat and humidity, how do you select the best duct material?

For high humidity and outdoor areas we recommend non-rusting aluminium, and for internal systems galvanised steel is adequate; the choice depends on system design and budget.
