Who needs workshop-fabricated duct?

  1. 1

    A contractor with project-specific sizes

Your project has non-standard sizes or volumes too large for site cutting. We fabricate rectangular and round sections from your drawings at exact dimensions, labelled and ready to hang when they reach the site.

  2. 2

Fittings too awkward to cut on site

Elbows, transitions, offsets and takeoffs come out distorted when cut by hand on site, leaking air and creating noise in the line. We make them in the workshop at the right dimensions with tight seams.

  3. 3

Extending or renovating an existing duct network

You need new branches, a damaged section replaced or a fitting that matches an old duct size. We measure the existing network on site and fabricate the pieces to match what is already there.

Who it's for

  • Building a facility that needs non-standard duct sizes

We read your project drawings and fabricate all sections and fittings at exact dimensions from G90 or aluminium sheet, labelled and ready to hang the moment they reach your site.

How we work

How we work

  1. 1

    Take measurements

A technician visits the site or you send us the drawings; we list every duct section needed, its size and the correct sheet thickness for that section.

  2. 2

    Fabricate sections and fittings

We cut, form and lock the sheet in the workshop, including all elbows, transitions, offsets and takeoffs, and each section comes out at its exact dimension.

  3. 3

    Label and prepare for delivery

We number every section and fitting against the assembly plan so the installation crew knows exactly where each piece goes, with no guessing on site.

  4. 4

    Deliver to site

We deliver the duct to your Jeddah site protected and ready to hang. If you need an installation crew, we can arrange that as a separate step.

Some of our work

Ductwork, rooftop units and diffusers, from work we've completed in Jeddah.

  • Galvanized rectangular duct trunk with branch takeoffs and round diffusers, hung from a black ceiling, a Carrier unit visible behind — interior finishing stage.
  • Round diffusers and a spiral duct trunk in a tiled stairwell service shaft.
  • Rooftop ductwork and an exhaust fan, with Jeddah buildings in the background.
  • Rooftop packaged AC units with rectangular duct transitions, city buildings behind.
  • Insulated rooftop duct run beside a packaged unit, a warehouse roof in the background.
  • A grid of round diffusers in an open-plan office ceiling, mid-construction.
  • An insulated rooftop duct elbow, against a mountainous backdrop.
  • Large insulated ductwork running along a factory ceiling, with workers visible below.
  • A yellow round diffuser mid-installation, with spiral duct and a suspended ceiling grid.
  • Duct insulation wrap in progress on a construction site, bare duct still exposed.
  • A black-painted duct trunk with round diffusers and track lighting, in a finished retail interior.
  • An indoor AHU unit connected to round ductwork in a mechanical plant room, exposed concrete ceiling.

What sets this district apart

Sha'na mixes medium villas and residential blocks with many rooms and reasonably sized corridors, needing a balanced central duct without over-complexity. Workshop fabrication lets us calculate the right diameters, bends and transitions from site measurements exactly, so each piece arrives ready to hang and connect with no air loss. This saves on-site time and ensures cooling efficiency from the start.

Sha'na sits in east Jeddah, a district of medium villas and residential blocks on reasonable-sized plots.

Most villas and blocks here have moderate designs needing central duct from simple to moderate complexity.

The AC setup in Sha'na

  1. 1

    Central duct of moderate complexity

Villas and blocks in Sha'na need central duct with a main trunk and few branches, without major complexity.

  2. 2

    Galvanized sheet for long-term durability

Most projects here use galvanized sheet because it resists east-side humidity and salt air better.

  3. 3

Tight joints with no air loss

The duct arrives with precise joints, so no air escapes between the main trunk and branches.

Before the visit

Before our visit in Sha'na

  1. 1

Measure the villa's rooms and corridors

Before the visit, tell us the number of rooms and corridors and the size of each section so we can fabricate the duct precisely.

  2. 2

Mark the unit location and vent positions

Tell us where the outdoor unit will go and where you want the air vents in each room.

  3. 3

Ensure the team can reach the site

Check that the villa gate and interior doors fit the equipment and duct sections, or tell us the nearest parking point.

FAQ

Questions about Duct fabrication

Can you fabricate from drawings without visiting the site?

Yes, when the drawings are clear and carry the actual as-built dimensions. If a dimension is uncertain or a field change has been made, we prefer a site visit to avoid a fabricated piece that does not fit. We discuss the better approach with you before starting work.

What is the difference between galvanized and aluminium sheet for duct?

G90 galvanized sheet is the standard choice for interior duct: strong and suited to a range of pressures. Aluminium is lighter and handles Jeddah's coastal humidity and salt air better, making it right for some exposed applications or where structural load is a limiting factor. The correct choice depends on the site.

Can you make elbows and transitions to match an existing duct network?

Yes. We measure the existing network on site to match sizes precisely, whether you need a new branch added, a damaged fitting replaced or an extension tied into the original ductwork. The right approach is confirmed after the site visit.

How do you choose sheet thickness for each section?

Thickness follows section size: a large duct needs heavier sheet to hold its shape under pressure, a small one can use lighter material. We apply the SMACNA requirements to each section in the project individually, not a single thickness across the whole job.

Does Jeddah's humidity and salt air affect which sheet material to use?

Yes, particularly for sections exposed to outdoor air or installed near fresh-air intakes. G90 galvanized sheet performs well inside the building, but aluminium is the better choice where duct is in continuous contact with Jeddah's humid, salt-laden air. The site survey determines the right material for each section.

Do you make duct for villas and blocks in Sha'na?

Yes, we fabricate rectangular and round duct for villas and blocks in Sha'na to match each building's area and room count.

My villa has four rooms and normal corridors, is the duct easy to install?

Yes, the fabricated duct arrives with exact dimensions and tight joints, so installation is quick and needs no adjustments.

Which sheet type is better for my Sha'na villa, galvanized or aluminium?

Galvanized is stronger and lasts longer in humidity and salt air, aluminium is lighter and easier to install, we choose based on your need.

Do you insulate the duct to reduce noise and leakage?

We fabricate the duct with tight joints, and duct insulation is fitted on site after installation, based on your preference.
