Who needs workshop-fabricated duct?

  1. 1

    A contractor with project-specific sizes

Your project has non-standard sizes or volumes too large for site cutting. We fabricate rectangular and round sections from your drawings at exact dimensions, labelled and ready to hang when they reach the site.

  2. 2

Fittings too awkward to cut on site

Elbows, transitions, offsets and takeoffs come out distorted when cut by hand on site, leaking air and creating noise in the line. We make them in the workshop at the right dimensions with tight seams.

  3. 3

Extending or renovating an existing duct network

You need new branches, a damaged section replaced or a fitting that matches an old duct size. We measure the existing network on site and fabricate the pieces to match what is already there.

Who it's for

  • Building a facility that needs non-standard duct sizes

We read your project drawings and fabricate all sections and fittings at exact dimensions from G90 or aluminium sheet, labelled and ready to hang the moment they reach your site.

How we work

How we work

  1. 1

    Take measurements

A technician visits the site or you send us the drawings; we list every duct section needed, its size and the correct sheet thickness for that section.

  2. 2

    Fabricate sections and fittings

We cut, form and lock the sheet in the workshop, including all elbows, transitions, offsets and takeoffs, and each section comes out at its exact dimension.

  3. 3

    Label and prepare for delivery

We number every section and fitting against the assembly plan so the installation crew knows exactly where each piece goes, with no guessing on site.

  4. 4

    Deliver to site

We deliver the duct to your Jeddah site protected and ready to hang. If you need an installation crew, we can arrange that as a separate step.

Some of our work

Ductwork, rooftop units and diffusers, from work we've completed in Jeddah.

  • Galvanized rectangular duct trunk with branch takeoffs and round diffusers, hung from a black ceiling, a Carrier unit visible behind — interior finishing stage.
  • Round diffusers and a spiral duct trunk in a tiled stairwell service shaft.
  • Rooftop ductwork and an exhaust fan, with Jeddah buildings in the background.
  • Rooftop packaged AC units with rectangular duct transitions, city buildings behind.
  • Insulated rooftop duct run beside a packaged unit, a warehouse roof in the background.
  • A grid of round diffusers in an open-plan office ceiling, mid-construction.
  • An insulated rooftop duct elbow, against a mountainous backdrop.
  • Large insulated ductwork running along a factory ceiling, with workers visible below.
  • A yellow round diffuser mid-installation, with spiral duct and a suspended ceiling grid.
  • Duct insulation wrap in progress on a construction site, bare duct still exposed.
  • A black-painted duct trunk with round diffusers and track lighting, in a finished retail interior.
  • An indoor AHU unit connected to round ductwork in a mechanical plant room, exposed concrete ceiling.

What sets this district apart

Al Muntazahat is an upscale new area with large residential complexes, organised urban planning, modern villas and advanced commercial centres, each building designed to high specifications with advanced AC systems. Good planning and pre-defined spaces allow complex, precise duct fabrication in the workshop, ensuring every system runs efficiently with zero air loss, and reducing site installation time and rework.

Al Muntazahat is in east Jeddah, an upscale new area with large residential complexes, modern villas and advanced commercial centres.

Most projects here use high-quality rectangular duct with tight seals and precise plumbing and electrical coordination.

The AC setup in Al Muntazahat

  1. 1

    Standardised rectangular duct for complexes

Large complexes need standardised duct modules with consistent dimensions and joints for easy installation, replacement and maintenance across multiple buildings.

  2. 2

Fully concealed duct in modern villas

Modern villas demand duct completely hidden in drop ceilings and walls, so we design slender branches and coordinate architecturally for zero visible system parts.

  3. 3

Wide flexible duct for commercial centres

Commercial centres need wide, easily distributed duct runs across large open spaces without visual obstructions.

Before the visit

Before our visit in Al Muntazahat

  1. 1

Obtain complete architectural and mechanical drawings

Ensure all engineering and architectural drawings are current before the measurement and fabrication visit.

  2. 2

Coordinate with the engineer and contractor on priorities and phases

Large projects need clear coordination on which sections to fabricate first and the phased installation schedule.

  3. 3

Mark secure storage areas for fabricated duct

Fabricated duct needs secure, dry storage space on-site before installation; ensure this is available.

FAQ

Questions about Duct fabrication

Can you fabricate from drawings without visiting the site?

Yes, when the drawings are clear and carry the actual as-built dimensions. If a dimension is uncertain or a field change has been made, we prefer a site visit to avoid a fabricated piece that does not fit. We discuss the better approach with you before starting work.

What is the difference between galvanized and aluminium sheet for duct?

G90 galvanized sheet is the standard choice for interior duct: strong and suited to a range of pressures. Aluminium is lighter and handles Jeddah's coastal humidity and salt air better, making it right for some exposed applications or where structural load is a limiting factor. The correct choice depends on the site.

Can you make elbows and transitions to match an existing duct network?

Yes. We measure the existing network on site to match sizes precisely, whether you need a new branch added, a damaged fitting replaced or an extension tied into the original ductwork. The right approach is confirmed after the site visit.

How do you choose sheet thickness for each section?

Thickness follows section size: a large duct needs heavier sheet to hold its shape under pressure, a small one can use lighter material. We apply the SMACNA requirements to each section in the project individually, not a single thickness across the whole job.

Does Jeddah's humidity and salt air affect which sheet material to use?

Yes, particularly for sections exposed to outdoor air or installed near fresh-air intakes. G90 galvanized sheet performs well inside the building, but aluminium is the better choice where duct is in continuous contact with Jeddah's humid, salt-laden air. The site survey determines the right material for each section.

How do you fabricate ductwork for large residential complexes?

We work with engineers and contractors to understand the full system design, then fabricate duct in standardised modules with tight seals for easy installation and future maintenance.

Do modern villas have special design requirements for ductwork?

Yes, modern villas often want duct completely hidden in ceilings or walls, so we design precise branch runs and coordinate with the architect to conceal all pipes and duct.

Does sandy ground and coastal humidity affect building foundations and external ductwork?

Yes, Al Muntazahat is near the sea with high humidity, so we use very strong galvanized metal and insulate external duct with protective layers against moisture and salt.

Do commercial centres need different ductwork from residential areas?

Yes, commercial centres need wider, more flexible duct to distribute air evenly across large open spaces, while residences need precise branching for each unit.
