When does a factory need a specialist system?

  1. 1

    Machine heat exhausting the workers

Compressors, motors and furnaces push out steady heat that scattered split units cannot handle. We assess every heat source on site and design a system that removes that heat and delivers cooled air precisely where people work.

  2. 2

A high roof that traps hot air

Hot air rises and collects under the roof while workers suffer at floor level. Evaporator positions, airflow angles and unit sizing all depend on the ceiling height and building shape, and the site survey decides each of these.

  3. 3

    Production dust destroying equipment

In wood, metal and plastic factories, coarse dust enters units and damages compressors and coils. We select equipment suited to industrial environments and design air paths that separate cooling air from contaminated process air wherever possible.

Who it's for

  • Building a new factory that needs HVAC

We join at design stage to fix unit positions, duct routes and extraction before the roof is cast and machines are installed, so the system is built into the structure from the start.

How we work

How we work

  1. 1

    Industrial site survey

Our team visits the factory during operation to measure actual heat from machines, map worker zones and critical processes, record ceiling heights and identify possible duct routes.

  2. 2

    System design

We design central plant, distributed units or a combination to suit the factory, and fix the positions of extraction and ventilation units, duct sizes and damper locations before you approve the work.

  3. 3

    Fabrication and installation

We fabricate duct in our own workshop from G90 galvanised or aluminium sheet to SMACNA standards, run Mueller copper in runs of up to 30 metres without welded joints, mount units and insulate pipework with Armaflex and Kimmco materials.

  4. 4

    Commissioning and scheduled maintenance

We commission the system, check airflow distribution, refrigerant pressure and damper balance, then set up a preventive and corrective maintenance contract timed to fit around your production shifts.

Some of our work

Ductwork, rooftop units and diffusers, from work we've completed in Jeddah.

  • Galvanized rectangular duct trunk with branch takeoffs and round diffusers, hung from a black ceiling, a Carrier unit visible behind — interior finishing stage.
  • Round diffusers and a spiral duct trunk in a tiled stairwell service shaft.
  • Rooftop ductwork and an exhaust fan, with Jeddah buildings in the background.
  • Rooftop packaged AC units with rectangular duct transitions, city buildings behind.
  • Insulated rooftop duct run beside a packaged unit, a warehouse roof in the background.
  • A grid of round diffusers in an open-plan office ceiling, mid-construction.
  • An insulated rooftop duct elbow, against a mountainous backdrop.
  • Large insulated ductwork running along a factory ceiling, with workers visible below.
  • A yellow round diffuser mid-installation, with spiral duct and a suspended ceiling grid.
  • Duct insulation wrap in progress on a construction site, bare duct still exposed.
  • A black-painted duct trunk with round diffusers and track lighting, in a finished retail interior.

What sets this district apart

Al Mustaqbal is a relatively new industrial district with growing medium and large factories in modern spacious buildings, very high ceilings and separate plots. Ongoing expansion and construction means some factories are in development phases and may need systems that can scale. Heat from new machinery and production needs strong central design with efficient duct distribution. Spacious ground allows easy outdoor unit placement with no residential noise or vibration constraints.

Al Mustaqbal is south Jeddah's growing modern industrial zone with emerging factories in new spacious buildings.

Most new factories here install strong central systems with large outdoor units and ducts distributed across multiple production sections.

The AC setup in Al Mustaqbal

  1. 1

Strong central system with large outdoor units

Large modern Al Mustaqbal factories use very large outdoor units placed in open space, with wide distribution ducts.

  2. 2

Duct distribution across multiple production sections

Growing larger factories have multiple separate production sections, so we design distributed ducts covering each section with independent airflow.

  3. 3

Smart building management (BMS) for energy control

Modern factories install smart controls that manage cooling and ventilation by actual heat load and production hours, maximizing energy savings.

Before the visit

Before our visit in Al Mustaqbal

  1. 1

Provide factory layout and floor plan

Send us an engineered layout or floor plan showing production sections and main machine locations so we design precisely.

  2. 2

Confirm outdoor and roof space for units

The spacious area allows units at multiple points; show us safe roof or open ground locations for outdoor equipment.

  3. 3

    Share future expansion plans

If expansion is planned later, tell us about expected new sections or production increases so we design for scalability.

FAQ

Questions about Factory HVAC

Can you cool just the worker zones without cooling the whole factory?

Yes, and we do it often. We design spot cooling for workstations or worker walkways using independent units or directed duct runs, rather than trying to cool the entire building volume. The right approach depends on the site and the process, and the survey decides it.

How do you handle heavy industrial dust in Jeddah?

We select units with a protection rating suited to the industrial environment and route airflow away from dust sources where the layout allows. In scheduled maintenance we inspect and clean coils, compressors and filters before deposits build up and affect unit performance.

Do you fabricate the large ducts a factory needs?

Yes, in our own workshop we fabricate round and rectangular duct to any size the design calls for, from G90 galvanised or aluminium sheet to SMACNA standards, including plenums, transitions and dampers needed to control air distribution.

Can you do maintenance between production shifts?

Yes, when we set up the preventive maintenance contract we agree times that fit your production schedule, whether between shifts or on rest days. The aim is that production lines are never stopped because of maintenance work.

What is the difference between process ventilation and worker-zone air conditioning?

Process ventilation targets heat and fumes produced by machinery and production lines, using exhaust fans and calculated fresh-air inlets sized to the heat load at each source. Worker-zone air conditioning aims to maintain a tolerable temperature at floor level without cooling the full volume of the building. A site survey of each factory decides which approach fits each area.

My factory is new and might expand later, how do we choose the right system?

We design a scalable system with extended ducts and mounting points for future units, so you can add capacity later without full redesign.

The factory floor is very large, how many units and distribution points do we need?

That depends on exact floor dimensions, heat sources and production layout. We need to visit and measure to determine the optimal number.

Can we install a smart system that controls temperature automatically by demand?

Yes, we install smart building management systems (BMS) that adjust temperature and ventilation by heat load and occupancy, saving energy automatically when full cooling isn't needed.

What are typical costs for a large factory HVAC system?

Costs depend on floor size, unit types, duct length, smart controls and brands. Send us the factory layout and photos on WhatsApp for an accurate quote.
