When does a factory need a specialist system?

  1. 1

    Machine heat exhausting the workers

Compressors, motors and furnaces push out steady heat that scattered split units cannot handle. We assess every heat source on site and design a system that removes that heat and delivers cooled air precisely where people work.

  2. 2

A high roof that traps hot air

Hot air rises and collects under the roof while workers suffer at floor level. Evaporator positions, airflow angles and unit sizing all depend on the ceiling height and building shape, and the site survey decides each of these.

  3. 3

    Production dust destroying equipment

In wood, metal and plastic factories, coarse dust enters units and damages compressors and coils. We select equipment suited to industrial environments and design air paths that separate cooling air from contaminated process air wherever possible.

Who it's for

  • Building a new factory that needs HVAC

We join at design stage to fix unit positions, duct routes and extraction before the roof is cast and machines are installed, so the system is built into the structure from the start.

How we work

How we work

  1. 1

    Industrial site survey

Our team visits the factory during operation to measure actual heat from machines, map worker zones and critical processes, record ceiling heights and identify possible duct routes.

  2. 2

    System design

We design central plant, distributed units or a combination to suit the factory, and fix the positions of extraction and ventilation units, duct sizes and damper locations before you approve the work.

  3. 3

    Fabrication and installation

We fabricate duct in our own workshop from G90 galvanised or aluminium sheet to SMACNA standards, run Mueller copper in runs of up to 30 metres without welded joints, mount units and insulate pipework with Armaflex and Kimmco materials.

  4. 4

    Commissioning and scheduled maintenance

We commission the system, check airflow distribution, refrigerant pressure and damper balance, then set up a preventive and corrective maintenance contract timed to fit around your production shifts.

Some of our work

Ductwork, rooftop units and diffusers, from work we've completed in Jeddah.

  • Galvanized rectangular duct trunk with branch takeoffs and round diffusers, hung from a black ceiling, a Carrier unit visible behind — interior finishing stage.
  • Round diffusers and a spiral duct trunk in a tiled stairwell service shaft.
  • Rooftop ductwork and an exhaust fan, with Jeddah buildings in the background.
  • Rooftop packaged AC units with rectangular duct transitions, city buildings behind.
  • Insulated rooftop duct run beside a packaged unit, a warehouse roof in the background.
  • A grid of round diffusers in an open-plan office ceiling, mid-construction.
  • An insulated rooftop duct elbow, against a mountainous backdrop.
  • Large insulated ductwork running along a factory ceiling, with workers visible below.
  • A yellow round diffuser mid-installation, with spiral duct and a suspended ceiling grid.
  • Duct insulation wrap in progress on a construction site, bare duct still exposed.
  • A black-painted duct trunk with round diffusers and track lighting, in a finished retail interior.
  • An indoor AHU unit connected to round ductwork in a mechanical plant room, exposed concrete ceiling.

What sets this district apart

Al Ushairiyah is an expanding industrial district with paint, chemical plants and large storage warehouses. Heat and humidity affect the stability of chemical and paint products, and excess heat can increase pressure and dangerous fumes. We select strong central cooling systems with precise temperature and humidity control, design ventilation to draw fumes and gases from work points and exhaust them safely outside, and conduct strict regular monitoring.

Al Ushairiyah sits in north-east Jeddah and is an expanding industrial district with chemical plants, storage and large production spaces.

Chemical and paint plants in Al Ushairiyah need precise temperature and humidity control plus separate ventilation to safely exhaust fumes and gases.

The AC setup in Al Ushairiyah

  1. 1

    Central cooling with precise control

Chemical plants need a strong central cooling unit with precise electronic control to maintain temperature and humidity with minimal deviation.

  2. 2

    Local ventilation to extract fumes

Local ventilation units above production points capture fumes and gases directly before spread, with separate ducts and advanced filters or air treatment.

  3. 3

    Air-handling system with multi-stage filtration

Air passes through multiple filtration stages to remove fumes, particles and gases before redistribution or safe external exhaust.

Before the visit

Before our visit in Al Ushairiyah

  1. 1

Provide safety standards and chemical hazards list

Tell us the chemical products and hazardous materials you make or store and your safety standards so we design a system matching your needs.

  2. 2

Mark work points and storage zones

Mark on the floor plan where production, mixing, filling and storage areas are so we locate local ventilation and central units precisely.

  3. 3

Confirm access and safe exhaust routes

Check that roof access is safe for outdoor units and there is a secure exhaust route away from residential areas and other workers.

FAQ

Questions about Factory HVAC

Can you cool just the worker zones without cooling the whole factory?

Yes, and we do it often. We design spot cooling for workstations or worker walkways using independent units or directed duct runs, rather than trying to cool the entire building volume. The right approach depends on the site and the process, and the survey decides it.

How do you handle heavy industrial dust in Jeddah?

We select units with a protection rating suited to the industrial environment and route airflow away from dust sources where the layout allows. In scheduled maintenance we inspect and clean coils, compressors and filters before deposits build up and affect unit performance.

Do you fabricate the large ducts a factory needs?

Yes, in our own workshop we fabricate round and rectangular duct to any size the design calls for, from G90 galvanised or aluminium sheet to SMACNA standards, including plenums, transitions and dampers needed to control air distribution.

Can you do maintenance between production shifts?

Yes, when we set up the preventive maintenance contract we agree times that fit your production schedule, whether between shifts or on rest days. The aim is that production lines are never stopped because of maintenance work.

What is the difference between process ventilation and worker-zone air conditioning?

Process ventilation targets heat and fumes produced by machinery and production lines, using exhaust fans and calculated fresh-air inlets sized to the heat load at each source. Worker-zone air conditioning aims to maintain a tolerable temperature at floor level without cooling the full volume of the building. A site survey of each factory decides which approach fits each area.

Fumes and gases from production are hazardous, how do you handle them?

We install local ventilation above work points to capture fumes directly before they spread, with air filtration or treatment, then safely exhaust outside through a tall stack or vents placed away from residential areas.

Temperature and humidity affect paint and chemical stability, how do you maintain them?

We install a central cooling system with precise dehumidification that maintains a set temperature and humidity range, and monitor continuously with sensors to ensure product stability.

Is the system electrically safe near hazardous products?

Yes, we install units and wiring to strict electrical safety standards, use equipment rated for hazardous environments where needed, and coordinate with the plant's safety team.

How do you manage maintenance and monitoring with continuous production?

We design a maintenance schedule around production hours, clean filters and inspect ducts without stopping the line. We log all work for safety and compliance purposes.
