When your commercial fridge needs attention

  1. 1

    Temperature creeping up slowly

The fridge runs but no longer reaches its old temperature. In Jeddah's hot kitchens, grease builds on the condenser quickly, robbing it of the ability to shed heat and straining the compressor. We check the blockage on site and decide what is needed.

  2. 2

    Condenser fan stopped or slowed

The condenser fan draws air across the condensing coil. When it stops or slows, heat rises fast and the compressor cuts out on its thermal protector. We test the motor and the run capacitor and replace what has failed as part of the repair.

  3. 3

    Door gasket not sealing properly

A cracked or burned gasket lets warm, humid kitchen air in constantly. The result is a compressor that never rests, condensation forming inside the cabinet and an unstable temperature. We measure the existing gasket and replace it with the right size for that door.

What sets this district apart

Al Falah is a relatively new growth zone with medium-rise apartment buildings and shops spread across more open streets than the older districts. Restaurants, cafés and grocers here run at high capacity, and their fridges face intense east Jeddah summer temperatures. Humidity and constant warm air flow cause rapid grime build-up on condenser coils and filters. Our team reaches you quickly and addresses the cooling problems common to these newer shops.

Al Falah sits in east Jeddah, a newly growing residential zone with apartment buildings and shops along wider streets than the older districts.

Shops here use modern display fridges and mid-sized cold cabinets, and the condenser coils clog quickly from the hot, humid air.

FAQ

Questions about Commercial fridge service

My kitchen fridge runs all the time but does not cool enough. What is wrong?

In most cases the condenser is blocked with grease and dust, which is common in Jeddah kitchens where steam and smoke build up fast. A worn door gasket letting warm kitchen air in constantly is another likely cause. We check both on site and tell you which is the problem, or whether both need attention.

Do you service prep counters and under-counter fridges as well?

Yes, our service covers upright fridges, prep counters, under-counter units and bottle coolers in restaurants, bakeries and groceries. We ask for the model in advance so the technician arrives with the right tools and parts for that unit's size and type.

How does Jeddah's humidity affect kitchen fridges?

Warm, humid air enters through any worn gasket and condenses inside the cabinet, raising the load on the compressor and speeding gasket wear. Salt in Jeddah's sea air also corrodes condenser parts over time. That is why we check gaskets and the condenser condition carefully at every service visit.

Can the fridge be repaired without shutting the kitchen down?

For most repairs, yes. Cleaning the condenser and replacing a fan motor or gasket takes the fridge out of service for a short time only. If the repair needs the refrigerant recovered and recharged we tell you the expected time beforehand so you can prepare your stock.

Why does water keep collecting inside my kitchen fridge?

The most common cause is a worn door gasket letting humid kitchen air in, which then condenses on the walls and shelves. A blocked defrost drain at the base of the unit is another frequent cause. We check the gaskets and the drain line on site and identify the problem before starting any repair.

My shop fridges are new but losing temperature, what is the cause?

Even new fridges face rapid issues in Al Falah's hot, humid air. Often the problem is a clogged condenser or dirty filter, and cleaning it resolves it.

The shop street is wide but parking is sometimes tight, how do we work together?

We agree on the nearest available spot and schedule the visit around your shop's hours.

Air humidity creates fogging on the display fridge, is this normal?

Yes, the high humidity in the east causes water to condense on the glass. If it is persistent, there may be an issue with the seal or ventilation.

Do you clean the filters and coils during maintenance?

Yes, cleaning the filters and condenser coils is a core part of our commercial fridge maintenance service.
