Commercial fridge service in Al Ma'rifah

In Al Ma'rifah, northern Jeddah, commercial fridges in shops and restaurants operate in hot, humidity-prone conditions where rising heat increases condenser strain. We identify leaks, clogs and damaged gaskets and fix them for safe storage.

When your commercial fridge needs attention

  1. 1

    Temperature creeping up slowly

The fridge runs but no longer reaches its old temperature. In Jeddah's hot kitchens, grease builds on the condenser quickly, robbing it of the ability to shed heat and straining the compressor. We check the blockage on site and decide what is needed.

  2. 2

    Condenser fan stopped or slowed

The condenser fan draws air across the condensing coil. When it stops or slows, heat rises fast and the compressor cuts out on its thermal protector. We test the motor and the run capacitor and replace what has failed as part of the repair.

  3. 3

    Door gasket not sealing properly

A cracked or burned gasket lets warm, humid kitchen air in constantly. The result is a compressor that never rests, condensation forming inside the cabinet and an unstable temperature. We measure the existing gasket and replace it with the right size for that door.

How we work

How we work

  1. 1

    Describe the fault

WhatsApp us the make, model and the fault you see, plus your district, so the technician arrives with the right tools and likely parts.

  2. 2

    On-site diagnosis

We check the condenser, fan, gaskets and refrigerant pressure on site and identify the real cause before starting any repair.

  3. 3

    Repair and clean

We clean the condenser of grease and dust, replace the faulty part and top up refrigerant if needed, all while keeping disruption to your work as short as possible.

  4. 4

    Temperature check and handover

After the repair we let the fridge run and measure the cabinet temperature until it reaches the correct range, then hand the unit back to you.

What sets this district apart

Al Ma'rifah is a mixed residential and commercial district with food shops, pharmacies and cafés spread across modern and some older buildings. Fridges here run beside ovens, grills and hot kitchens, so the ambient temperature rises sharply and condenser load increases. Dust and coastal humidity clog the condenser coils quickly, and gaskets wear faster in the hot, damp environment. Regular checks keep the fridge holding safe storage temperature even on hot summer days.

Al Ma'rifah is a northern mixed residential and commercial district with small shops and services in modern and mid-age buildings.

Commercial fridges here operate in ambient temperatures often 35°C or higher in summer and need powerful condensers and repeated servicing.

The AC setup in Al Ma'rifah

  1. 1

    Tall vertical shop display fridges

Al Ma'rifah shops mainly use large-capacity vertical display fridges with top-mounted condensers under daily heavy use.

  2. 2

Restaurant fridges with sliding glass doors

Restaurants and cafés in the district prefer sliding-door fridges for quick stock access but they are more prone to gasket leaks.

  3. 3

    Coolers with floor drain lines

Several large fridges in shops and restaurants have floor drain lines requiring regular maintenance to avoid clogs and dampness.

Before the visit

Before our visit in Al Ma'rifah

  1. 1

Ensure safe entry for the team

If the fridge is near the oven or stove, let us know beforehand to avoid safety hazards and provide safe working space.

  2. 2

Switch off the fridge before inspection

About an hour before the visit, switch off the fridge to cool the condenser and fans slightly, which aids our work and protects equipment.

  3. 3

    Clear excess ice buildup

If the fridge has thick ice buildup, remove most of it before the visit so we can fully inspect the gaskets and doors.

FAQ

Questions about Commercial fridge service

My kitchen fridge runs all the time but does not cool enough. What is wrong?

In most cases the condenser is blocked with grease and dust, which is common in Jeddah kitchens where steam and smoke build up fast. A worn door gasket letting warm kitchen air in constantly is another likely cause. We check both on site and tell you which is the problem, or whether both need attention.

Do you service prep counters and under-counter fridges as well?

Yes, our service covers upright fridges, prep counters, under-counter units and bottle coolers in restaurants, bakeries and groceries. We ask for the model in advance so the technician arrives with the right tools and parts for that unit's size and type.

How does Jeddah's humidity affect kitchen fridges?

Warm, humid air enters through any worn gasket and condenses inside the cabinet, raising the load on the compressor and speeding gasket wear. Salt in Jeddah's sea air also corrodes condenser parts over time. That is why we check gaskets and the condenser condition carefully at every service visit.

Can the fridge be repaired without shutting the kitchen down?

For most repairs, yes. Cleaning the condenser and replacing a fan motor or gasket takes the fridge out of service for a short time only. If the repair needs the refrigerant recovered and recharged we tell you the expected time beforehand so you can prepare your stock.

Why does water keep collecting inside my kitchen fridge?

The most common cause is a worn door gasket letting humid kitchen air in, which then condenses on the walls and shelves. A blocked defrost drain at the base of the unit is another frequent cause. We check the gaskets and the drain line on site and identify the problem before starting any repair.

My shop is next to the kitchen and it is very hot, can the fridge cope?

Portable fridges are not designed for sustained high heat. We carefully test the condenser, fans and compressor to confirm they can handle the load, and advise improving shop ventilation if possible.

Coastal humidity affects the fridge, how do we protect it?

High humidity accelerates gasket and fan wear and electrical faults. We deep-clean the condenser and drain and check gaskets and wiring regularly.

The fridge is tucked in a tight corner with no airflow, is that a problem?

Yes, tight corners restrict airflow around the rear or top condenser, so the temperature around it may rise sharply. We advise moving the fridge slightly from the wall if possible or adding mechanical ventilation.

The shop's wiring is weak, does that lower cooling efficiency?

Low voltage reduces compressor power and cooling-cycle speed. We check voltage and connection on the visit and measure compressor efficiency, and advise upgrading the supply if needed.
