When your commercial fridge needs attention

  1. 1

    Temperature creeping up slowly

The fridge runs but no longer reaches its old temperature. In Jeddah's hot kitchens, grease builds on the condenser quickly, robbing it of the ability to shed heat and straining the compressor. We check the blockage on site and decide what is needed.

  2. 2

    Condenser fan stopped or slowed

The condenser fan draws air across the condensing coil. When it stops or slows, heat rises fast and the compressor cuts out on its thermal protector. We test the motor and the run capacitor and replace what has failed as part of the repair.

  3. 3

    Door gasket not sealing properly

A cracked or burned gasket lets warm, humid kitchen air in constantly. The result is a compressor that never rests, condensation forming inside the cabinet and an unstable temperature. We measure the existing gasket and replace it with the right size for that door.

How we work

  1. 1

    Describe the fault

WhatsApp us the make, model and the fault you see, plus your district, so the technician arrives with the right tools and likely parts.

  2. 2

    On-site diagnosis

We check the condenser, fan, gaskets and refrigerant pressure on site and identify the real cause before starting any repair.

  3. 3

    Repair and clean

We clean the condenser of grease and dust, replace the faulty part and top up refrigerant if needed, all while keeping disruption to your work as short as possible.

  4. 4

    Temperature check and handover

After the repair we let the fridge run and measure the cabinet temperature until it reaches the correct range, then hand the unit back to you.

What sets this district apart

Al Tilal is a modern district with multi-storey shopping malls, contemporary restaurants and specialist food shops, and the buildings are centrally cooled with modern electrical systems. The fridges here are advanced with dual coils and electronic controls, running in a stable indoor environment. Yet these complex systems face heavy daily strain, and we need deep knowledge of electronic controls and smart pump systems.

Al Tilal sits in east Jeddah, a modern developed zone with malls, hotels and contemporary restaurants.

Most malls and restaurants here use large display fridges fitted with digital controls and dual coils, 500-litre-plus capacity.

FAQ

Questions about Commercial fridge service

My kitchen fridge runs all the time but does not cool enough. What is wrong?

In most cases the condenser is blocked with grease and dust, which is common in Jeddah kitchens where steam and smoke build up fast. A worn door gasket letting warm kitchen air in constantly is another likely cause. We check both on site and tell you which is the problem, or whether both need attention.

Do you service prep counters and under-counter fridges as well?

Yes, our service covers upright fridges, prep counters, under-counter units and bottle coolers in restaurants, bakeries and groceries. We ask for the model in advance so the technician arrives with the right tools and parts for that unit's size and type.

How does Jeddah's humidity affect kitchen fridges?

Warm, humid air enters through any worn gasket and condenses inside the cabinet, raising the load on the compressor and speeding gasket wear. Salt in Jeddah's sea air also corrodes condenser parts over time. That is why we check gaskets and the condenser condition carefully at every service visit.

Can the fridge be repaired without shutting the kitchen down?

For most repairs, yes. Cleaning the condenser and replacing a fan motor or gasket takes the fridge out of service for a short time only. If the repair needs the refrigerant recovered and recharged we tell you the expected time beforehand so you can prepare your stock.

Why does water keep collecting inside my kitchen fridge?

The most common cause is a worn door gasket letting humid kitchen air in, which then condenses on the walls and shelves. A blocked defrost drain at the base of the unit is another frequent cause. We check the gaskets and the drain line on site and identify the problem before starting any repair.

The digital display shows an error code, how do I know if the fridge needs servicing?

Error codes usually point to faults in temperature sensors, refrigerant pressure or pump malfunction. We read codes with a digital scanner and diagnose the issue precisely.

The fridge is in the mall with shoppers around, how can you service it without disruption?

We coordinate with mall management, usually working during late closing hours or quieter days to minimise impact on shoppers and service.

How often does the filter and refrigerant need changing in modern control systems?

The filter needs changing every 6 months, and refrigerant seeps gradually but full replacement is rare if seals are sound. We check refrigerant levels at each service visit.

The fridge had water vapour on the glass, is that a fault?

Light condensation is normal but heavy build-up signals a weak gasket or faulty humidity control. We inspect the gasket and humidity sensor and repair or replace as needed.
