Hotel HVAC in Al Harrah
In Al Harrah, north-east Jeddah, rapidly expanding hotels need AC systems that balance quietness, efficiency and room-by-room control. We design a system that gives guests comfort from their first moment, and keeps running smoothly year-round.
- Room quiet
- Individual control
- Non-disruptive maintenance

When a hotel needs a specialist
- 1
A new hotel or serviced apartments under construction
The right design starts before the ceilings are closed. We fix diffuser positions, duct routes and noise levels per room before finishing, so there is no costly breaking out or rerouting later.
- 2
Guests complaining about noise or smell
A loud fan coil, air whistling at a diffuser, or corridor smell entering the room when the door opens. These are diagnosable problems with a fix, after a site survey of the airflow.
- 3
Maintenance that disrupts hotel operations
A hotel never stops, and occupied rooms cannot accept a technician working through the night. We draw the maintenance plan with the hotel manager, using vacant rooms and quiet hours.
Who it's for
Opening a new hotel before fit-out is finished
We enter at the structural stage to fix duct routes and unit positions for every room before ceilings close, so you avoid costly changes later.
Ask on WhatsAppRunning an open hotel with ongoing guest complaints
We diagnose noise, odour and control faults in problem rooms and carry out repairs in vacant rooms without affecting staying guests.

How we work
How we work
- 1
Survey and design
We visit the site, study the drawings and expected occupancy, and decide the right system type for each zone: rooms, lobby, halls and corridors.
- 2
Fabrication and supply
We fabricate ducts in our own workshop from G90 galvanised sheet to the site dimensions, and supply units from our authorised brands to the specifications the design sets.
- 3
Installation and sealing
We install units and ducts and test room noise levels before the ceilings close, using Armaflex and Kimmco insulation and Foster sealants to control condensation and air leakage.
- 4
Handover and maintenance plan
We commission the full system, verify individual control in every room, and hand hotel management a scheduled maintenance plan built around occupancy so guests are not disturbed.

What sets this district apart
Al Harrah is seeing rapid hotel construction, mostly modern 5 to 10-storey buildings serving tourists and healthcare workers. These hotels need scalable, easy-to-maintain AC systems balancing electricity use with air quality. Flexible ductwork and compact units cut noise in corridors, and zone thermostats let you group nearby rooms under one control without losing privacy.
Al Harrah lies in north-east Jeddah near medical and tourism zones, a fast-growing area with new hotels and residential blocks.
New Al Harrah hotels are often built with limited plant space, requiring efficiently integrated AC systems.
The AC setup in Al Harrah
- 1
Compact system with expandable outdoor units
New Al Harrah hotels benefit from a central system with small units where extra fans can be added later if the hotel expands.
- 2
Thermostat zones grouping nearby rooms
Instead of one thermostat per room, we divide the hotel into small zones, each with one control managing a few similar rooms.
- 3
Efficient filters for salt and dust-laden air
Al Harrah's proximity to sea and roads calls for advanced filters that remove salt and dust from incoming air.
Before the visit

Bring current building plans
Provide us with the architectural drawings of the floors, rooms and available mechanical spaces.
- 2
Identify preferred outdoor unit location
Tell us where you prefer the outdoor units: roof, exterior wall or another area, based on the hotel's needs.
- 3
Ensure access during construction or operation
If the hotel is under construction, ensure safe access routes for the team. If operational, schedule maintenance outside peak hours.

FAQ
Questions about Hotel HVAC
What unit type suits hotel guest rooms in Jeddah?
It depends on the building layout, number of floors and running-cost priorities. Fan coil units on a chilled-water system are common in larger hotels; serviced apartments often suit split or cassette units. The survey decides what fits, and both options are available through our authorised brands: Carrier, YORK, General, Midea, Gree and Smart Gold.
How do you handle Jeddah's humidity in corridors and shared areas?
Indoor corridors face humid outside air every time a door opens. We calculate the fresh-air volume for each zone and check that internal pressure stops warm, humid outside air from infiltrating. Ducts are insulated with Kimmco and Armaflex materials to stop condensation forming on the outside of the duct.
Can you service one room without cutting air conditioning to the rest of the floor?
In most systems designed for hotels, yes. Each unit or circuit serves a limited set of rooms and can be isolated on its own. We build this zoning into the design specifically so that neighbouring rooms stay live during any maintenance work, and the zoning is confirmed at the design stage before installation.
Do you work in the hotel while it is open to guests?
Yes, and we are familiar with coordinating around hotel operations. We agree in advance which rooms are set aside for maintenance, and we work at hours that avoid guest peak times. Any task that produces noise is reviewed with the hotel manager before it is scheduled.
How do you maintain stable room temperature when guests change and doors open frequently?
Frequent door opening upsets the pressure balance in a guest room and lets warm, humid corridor air in. We size each unit to the actual room dimensions, not the building as a whole, and balance the fresh-air supply against the return air for each room. A site survey determines the layout of individual controls and the dampers needed to isolate each room from corridor pressure changes.
Our new hotel has limited plant space, can you fit a compact system?
Yes, we select integrated units and flexible piping that fit tight spaces without sacrificing performance.
AC noise in corridors bothers guests, how do you reduce it?
We use sound baffles on ducts and fans, and choose low-noise designs, keeping common areas quiet for guests.
What is the power consumption for a central system in a mid-sized hotel?
Consumption depends on room count, floor area and insulation. We give an accurate estimate after inspecting the building, send photos on WhatsApp.
Al Harrah is hot and close to the sea, does salt air affect the units?
Yes, salt accelerates metal corrosion. We choose corrosion-resistant coated units and schedule regular maintenance to counter salt damage.
