When you need a retail HVAC specialist
- 1
A new mall or shopping centre
A poor design from the start means cold zones next to stifling ones and endless tenant complaints. We study the heat load of each zone separately and choose the right unit type before the ceiling is built.
- 2
An existing shop with uneven cooling
The back of the shop is cold while the front near the door stays hot at peak hours. The cause is usually the air outlet layout or the unit size; a site survey identifies which and fixes the problem without replacing the whole system.
- 3
Condensate dripping on shelves or display
A single drip on stock or a glass display front damages the product and the shop's image. The cause is usually weak insulation, a blocked condensate line or an unlevel unit, all of which can be diagnosed and fixed in one visit.
Who it's for
Opening a new shop inside a mall
We design an independent unit for your space and install ductwork and condensate lines before finishing work so your opening is not delayed.
Ask on WhatsAppManaging an existing commercial complex
We review the existing system and set a preventive and corrective maintenance contract scheduled outside trading hours so tenants are not affected.

How we work
How we work
- 1
Site survey and loads
We visit the site and map every heat source: entrances, lighting, expected crowd density and facade orientation, then size the units correctly for each section.
- 2
Design and materials
We design the duct network in our own workshop from G90 galvanised sheet to dimensions that give even air distribution, and select units from brands we distribute such as Carrier, YORK and Gree.
- 3
Installation coordinated on site
We coordinate installation with the project programme so ductwork does not delay finishing trades, and run Mueller copper in runs of up to 30 metres without welded joints to reduce potential leak points.
- 4
Start-up and maintenance contract
We start up the system and check air distribution in every section, then set a preventive and corrective maintenance schedule timed so work never overlaps with the shop's trading hours.
Designed for the space or just fitted?
| Alrabih | The usual way | |
|---|---|---|

| Condensate | Dedicated line away from stock | Risk of drips on shelves |
| Maintenance | Scheduled outside shop hours | Surprise outage during trade |
| Copper purity | Mueller copper, 99% pure, no welds | Unspecified pipe source |

What sets this district apart
Al Qaws is a growing eastern district with mid-to-large malls and diverse shops across wide orderly streets, most using modern central AC or integrated ceiling units. The thermal load here is very high due to Jeddah's intense heat, continuous customer flow and constant door openings. The drainage system must handle large volumes of condensate, and regular duct and evaporator cleaning is vital to prevent sudden failure during peak trading hours.
Al Qaws is in eastern Jeddah, a growing commercial zone with mid-to-large malls and wide orderly streets.
Most large malls and shops here are fitted with powerful central AC systems connected to complex duct networks distributing air to multiple departments.
The AC setup in Al Qaws
- 1
Powerful multi-unit central system
Large malls in Al Qaws often need multiple central cooling units connected to a complex duct network to efficiently distribute cool air across all departments.
- 2
High-capacity ceiling units in large shops
Large shops and specialty displays are fitted with powerful standalone ceiling units to handle high thermal load.
- 3
Air redistribution fans in narrow aisles
Some large malls use supplemental fans in narrow aisles and corners to ensure even distribution of cool air.

FAQ
Questions about Mall & retail HVAC
How do you handle doors that open onto the street all day?
An open door pushes in hot humid air and spikes the heat load suddenly. We include that load in the design and direct a supply outlet above the entrance to form an air barrier that reduces mixing. The survey confirms which arrangement suits each specific doorway.
Do you install separate units for each mall tenant?
Yes. A separate unit per tenant means each shop controls its own cooling and a fault in one unit does not affect the neighbour. It also makes consumption readings straightforward and makes maintenance responsibility clear for each party.
Why do you prefer rooftop packaged units for malls?
A rooftop packaged unit keeps the condenser and evaporator in one casing above the roof, freeing every inch of shop floor from outdoor units and shortening the duct run. Maintenance happens on the roof without entering the shop, which fits scheduling work outside trading hours.
How do you handle Jeddah's heat and its effect on rooftop units?
Rooftop units in Jeddah work in hot, salty and dusty air that strains the condenser and speeds fin corrosion. We specify units with corrosion-resistant coatings and include coil cleaning and compressor and condenser checks in the preventive schedule of every maintenance contract.
Does air distribution design differ between a small shop and a large mall?
The site survey decides. A small shop may need only a concealed unit with directional grilles, while a mall requires a duct network with dampers zoned by area. In both cases the positions of lighting, visitor traffic and entry doors are recorded before supply outlets are placed.
Large malls in Al Qaws have very heavy thermal loads, how do you maintain stable cooling?
We assess the mall's actual thermal load and tune system settings by season and use, performing intensive monthly-to-bimonthly maintenance on filters and evaporators.
Our streets are orderly and accessible, but can the team easily find the mechanical areas?
Yes, the district's orderly layout makes it easy to find outdoor units and plant rooms; we just ask the mall owner to clearly mark the location before our visit.
Eastern Jeddah's heat is extreme and all doors and shops run together, does the system consume enormous power?
The thermal load is very high so power use is elevated, but regular cleaning and precise system tuning reduce consumption without sacrificing cooling quality.
High humidity in the mall puts stock at risk, how do you control moisture?
We frequently inspect and clean drainage pipes, ensure ducts and evaporators are clean to reduce moisture buildup, and recommend supplemental dehumidifiers if needed.
