When you need a proper installer
- 1
A new unit for a room or flat
You have bought the unit, or are about to, and want it fitted once, not to find a refrigerant leak or water on the floor a few weeks later. Getting it right first time saves you all of that.
- 2
Not sure where the outdoor unit goes
In Jeddah flats the choice is usually the roof, the balcony or the facade. We pick a spot where the condenser gets enough air, a technician can reach it for servicing, and neither noise nor drain water bothers the neighbours.
- 3
A past install that went wrong
Weak cooling since day one, water running down the wall, a loud indoor unit. These are usually installation mistakes, not faults in the unit, and our installation is built step by step to avoid them.
Who it's for
Moving into a new flat that needs AC
We plan every unit position and copper route in one go, so the whole flat ends up neat and consistent.
Ask on WhatsAppFitting AC in a shop or office
We place the units so cool air reaches the entrance and the work area, and arrange outdoor units and drains to suit the shopfront and the building's rules.

What the installation covers
- Site check and unit positions
- Insulated copper, sealed wall core
- Drain line with correct fall
- Vacuum and leak test
- Start-up test with you present
How we work
How we work
- 1
Send a photo
WhatsApp us a photo of the room, where the outdoor unit might go and your district, and we tell you what the job needs before the visit.
- 2
Agree positions and route
On site, the technician agrees the unit positions and the copper and drain route with you before drilling any wall.
- 3
Fit and vacuum
We mount both units, run and insulate the copper, then vacuum the line with a pump and check the joints before releasing the refrigerant held in the outdoor unit.
- 4
Start-up and handover
We run the unit, measure the air coming out, check the drain flows, then leave the room clean and show you the remote and how to clean the filter.
A careful install or a rushed one?
| Alrabih | The usual way | |
|---|---|---|
| Vacuum | Pumped before start-up | Often skipped |
| Copper | Mueller, fully insulated | Patchy insulation |
| Drain | Falls, so no drips | Water down the wall |
| Outdoor unit spot | Airy and easy to reach | Wherever it fits |
| Wall opening | Sealed tight | Dust gets through |

What sets this district apart
Al Karamah is a modern southern district with detached villas and residential buildings set on wide plots with gardens and ample space between homes. This open layout eases access, mounting and transport, but hot, arid weather and heavy airborne dust mean outdoor units face rapid dust accumulation and filter clogging. Siting the unit in partial shade preserves efficiency. Drainage needs proper fall in this dry climate to avoid salt buildup in drain pipes.
Al Karamah is a modern southern district with spaced villas and flats surrounded by gardens and wide open plots.
Most outdoor units here mount on open side walls or distant roofs, but face rapid dust accumulation.
The AC setup in Al Karamah
- 1
Split units in villas with wide outdoor space and extra shade
Villas here allow mounting the unit away from the main building and under trees or garden structures.
- 2
Copper pipes insulated with dust protection
Dust settling on insulated pipes might reduce efficiency, so we use thick insulation and recommend regular cleaning.
- 3
Drainage with fine strainer and open routing
Drainage needs a fine strainer to prevent salt and dust settling, and an elevated open path well above ground level.
Before the visit
Before our visit in Al Karamah
- 1
Identify potential outdoor unit sites with partial shade
Before the visit, identify spots offering partial shade from direct sun and shelter from harsh winds.
- 2
Ensure elevated safe drainage above ground level
Plan drainage that is elevated and away from low spots or where dust might collect.
- 3
Check available wall and structure strength for mounting
Confirm that exterior walls or available structures are strong enough for secure outdoor unit mounting.

FAQ
Questions about Split AC installation
Will you install a unit I bought elsewhere?
Yes, we install units you have bought yourself. Before the visit we ask the model, its capacity and where both units will go, so we know the copper length. If you have not bought one yet, we are an authorised distributor for Carrier, YORK, General, Midea, Gree and Smart Gold and can help you choose.
Why does the line need vacuuming before start-up?
New pipes hold air and moisture, and Jeddah's humid air adds more. Mixed with refrigerant, they weaken cooling and strain the compressor over time. We pull them out with a vacuum pump, watch that the reading holds so we know the line is tight, and only then release the refrigerant.
Can the outdoor unit be far from the room?
Yes, within the manufacturer's limits for line length and height difference. We use Mueller copper in runs of up to 30 metres without welded joints, so there are fewer joints that could leak, and the survey shows whether a long run needs extra refrigerant.
Can you hide the copper and cables in the wall?
It depends on the house. In a new build or during finishing works, the copper can run inside the wall before plastering. In a lived-in home we use neat plastic trunking in the wall colour. We show you the better option for your home at the survey, before any work starts.
What if the outside wall cannot carry the unit?
We check the wall before fixing anything, because some facades are clad in stone or panels that cannot take the weight. Then we set the unit on a floor stand on the roof or balcony, or on a bracket anchored to the concrete itself, not the cladding, so it does not shake loose.
Dust and particles are very heavy here, do filters and the condenser clog quickly?
Yes, dust accumulation in this arid climate is faster. We fit extra filters and focus on airway entry points, and recommend cleaning filters and condenser every two to three months.
Extreme heat and dryness, do they affect the outdoor unit's performance?
Intense heat raises condenser load, and dryness slightly reduces efficiency. We choose a spot with partial shade and use heat-reflective insulation to reduce heat absorption.
AC drainage might accumulate salt and dust in this dry climate, how do you protect it?
We fit a fine strainer at the outlet, route drainage at constant fall to an open area, and recommend light periodic rinsing of the pipes to prevent sediment buildup.
Harsh southern winds, do they affect mounting the unit on a villa?
We use very strong fixings with heavy metal brackets. We choose a spot partially sheltered by walls or garden features, ensuring airflow is not blocked.
