Fitted right first time
Split AC installation in Al Farouq
Split installation in Al Farouq requires careful attention to detail: mounting units on solid walls, insulated copper with correct pitch, and proper line evacuation before start-up. This ensures steady cooling without noise or drips from day one.

When you need a proper installer
- 1
A new unit for a room or flat
You have bought the unit, or are about to, and want it fitted once, not to find a refrigerant leak or water on the floor a few weeks later. Getting it right first time saves you all of that.
- 2
Not sure where the outdoor unit goes
In Jeddah flats the choice is usually the roof, the balcony or the facade. We pick a spot where the condenser gets enough air, a technician can reach it for servicing, and neither noise nor drain water bothers the neighbours.
- 3
A past install that went wrong
Weak cooling since day one, water running down the wall, a loud indoor unit. These are usually installation mistakes, not faults in the unit, and our installation is built step by step to avoid them.
Who it's for
Moving into a new flat that needs AC
We plan every unit position and copper route in one go, so the whole flat ends up neat and consistent.
Ask on WhatsAppFitting AC in a shop or office
We place the units so cool air reaches the entrance and the work area, and arrange outdoor units and drains to suit the shopfront and the building's rules.

What the installation covers
- Site check and unit positions
- Insulated copper, sealed wall core
- Drain line with correct fall
- Vacuum and leak test
- Start-up test with you present
How we work
How we work
- 1
Send a photo
WhatsApp us a photo of the room, where the outdoor unit might go and your district, and we tell you what the job needs before the visit.
- 2
Agree positions and route
On site, the technician agrees the unit positions and the copper and drain route with you before drilling any wall.
- 3
Fit and vacuum
We mount both units, run and insulate the copper, then vacuum the line with a pump and check the joints before releasing the refrigerant held in the outdoor unit.
- 4
Start-up and handover
We run the unit, measure the air coming out, check the drain flows, then leave the room clean and show you the remote and how to clean the filter.
A careful install or a rushed one?
| Alrabih | The usual way | |
|---|---|---|
| Vacuum | Pumped before start-up | Often skipped |
| Copper | Mueller, fully insulated | Patchy insulation |
| Drain | Falls, so no drips | Water down the wall |
| Outdoor unit spot | Airy and easy to reach | Wherever it fits |
| Wall opening | Sealed tight | Dust gets through |

What sets this district apart
Al Farouq is a medium-density residential district mixing modern villas with mid-rise apartment blocks, regular streets, and green spaces between buildings. Outdoor units have reasonable mounting surfaces on building facades or roofs, though some copper runs may be moderately long. The hot, humid climate here demands strong thermal insulation on pipes and clean, dry copper before start-up to prevent internal moisture condensation.
Al Farouq is in south Jeddah, a diverse residential district with villas and apartment blocks in regular urban layout.
Most outdoor units in Al Farouq are mounted on sturdy exterior walls or safe rooftops, with moderately long copper runs due to building layout.
The AC setup in Al Farouq
- 1
Split with moderate copper runs
Most villas and apartments in Al Farouq need moderate copper runs, insulated to a thickness that withstands local heat and humidity.
- 2
Outdoor units on walls and rooftops
Units are split between sturdy exterior walls and safe rooftops, each on solid concrete bases for stability and good ventilation.
- 3
Proper drain pitch throughout
Drain lines are pitched correctly toward safe outlets, preventing water pooling in pipes and the indoor unit.
Before the visit

FAQ
Questions about Split AC installation
Will you install a unit I bought elsewhere?
Yes, we install units you have bought yourself. Before the visit we ask the model, its capacity and where both units will go, so we know the copper length. If you have not bought one yet, we are an authorised distributor for Carrier, YORK, General, Midea, Gree and Smart Gold and can help you choose.
Why does the line need vacuuming before start-up?
New pipes hold air and moisture, and Jeddah's humid air adds more. Mixed with refrigerant, they weaken cooling and strain the compressor over time. We pull them out with a vacuum pump, watch that the reading holds so we know the line is tight, and only then release the refrigerant.
Can the outdoor unit be far from the room?
Yes, within the manufacturer's limits for line length and height difference. We use Mueller copper in runs of up to 30 metres without welded joints, so there are fewer joints that could leak, and the survey shows whether a long run needs extra refrigerant.
Can you hide the copper and cables in the wall?
It depends on the house. In a new build or during finishing works, the copper can run inside the wall before plastering. In a lived-in home we use neat plastic trunking in the wall colour. We show you the better option for your home at the survey, before any work starts.
What if the outside wall cannot carry the unit?
We check the wall before fixing anything, because some facades are clad in stone or panels that cannot take the weight. Then we set the unit on a floor stand on the roof or balcony, or on a bracket anchored to the concrete itself, not the cladding, so it does not shake loose.
Is the building roof safe for the outdoor unit?
We inspect the roof and confirm it is strong with good drainage. If safe, we mount the unit on a solid concrete base with rust-resistant fixings.
How much copper piping does the home need?
It depends on where the outdoor and indoor units sit. We measure the distance beforehand and select the right insulation thickness for the run.
Humidity is high in the district, can it damage the condenser?
The condenser tolerates humidity, but good drainage, clean copper, and full insulation are essential to prevent internal water condensation in the pipes and unit.
Does the outdoor unit need special care after installation?
We give you simple guidelines: keep the area around it clean and free of debris and leaves, and ensure nothing blocks airflow. Annual inspection maintains performance.
