When you need a proper installer
- 1
A new unit for a room or flat
You have bought the unit, or are about to, and want it fitted once, not to find a refrigerant leak or water on the floor a few weeks later. Getting it right first time saves you all of that.
- 2
Not sure where the outdoor unit goes
In Jeddah flats the choice is usually the roof, the balcony or the facade. We pick a spot where the condenser gets enough air, a technician can reach it for servicing, and neither noise nor drain water bothers the neighbours.
- 3
A past install that went wrong
Weak cooling since day one, water running down the wall, a loud indoor unit. These are usually installation mistakes, not faults in the unit, and our installation is built step by step to avoid them.
Who it's for
Moving into a new flat that needs AC
We plan every unit position and copper route in one go, so the whole flat ends up neat and consistent.
Ask on WhatsAppFitting AC in a shop or office
We place the units so cool air reaches the entrance and the work area, and arrange outdoor units and drains to suit the shopfront and the building's rules.

How we work
How we work
- 1
Send a photo
WhatsApp us a photo of the room, where the outdoor unit might go and your district, and we tell you what the job needs before the visit.
- 2
Agree positions and route
On site, the technician agrees the unit positions and the copper and drain route with you before drilling any wall.
- 3
Fit and vacuum
We mount both units, run and insulate the copper, then vacuum the line with a pump and check the joints before releasing the refrigerant held in the outdoor unit.
- 4
Start-up and handover
We run the unit, measure the air coming out, check the drain flows, then leave the room clean and show you the remote and how to clean the filter.
A careful install or a rushed one?
| Alrabih | The usual way | |
|---|---|---|
| Vacuum | Pumped before start-up | Often skipped |
| Copper | Mueller, fully insulated | Patchy insulation |
| Drain | Falls, so no drips | Water down the wall |
| Outdoor unit spot | Airy and easy to reach | Wherever it fits |
| Wall opening | Sealed tight | Dust gets through |

What sets this district apart
Al Manar is a developing residential district with mid-rise blocks containing varied flat sizes and designs, wider streets than the old downtown but limited outdoor space per flat. Flats are smaller than Al Rimal villas but larger than Al Hindawiyah units, mostly with small balconies or narrow walls. Eastern summer heat and dust demand good line insulation, and drainage must slope correctly to prevent leaks on neighbouring balconies.
Al Manar lies in East Jeddah and features mid-rise residential blocks with varied flat sizes and relatively wide streets.
Most flats here need one or two split units, with outdoor units positioned on small balconies or tight facade walls.
The AC setup in Al Manar
- 1
Single or dual split depending on flat size
Small and medium Al Manar flats need one or two split units, depending on the number of rooms, lounge, and wall insulation.
- 2
Outdoor units on tight balconies and shared walls
Outdoor units typically sit on limited balconies or on narrow facade walls between closely built flats.
- 3
Short copper runs due to space constraints
The distance between indoor and outdoor units is relatively short in most Al Manar flats, reducing copper and wiring consumption.

FAQ
Questions about Split AC installation
Will you install a unit I bought elsewhere?
Yes, we install units you have bought yourself. Before the visit we ask the model, its capacity and where both units will go, so we know the copper length. If you have not bought one yet, we are an authorised distributor for Carrier, YORK, General, Midea, Gree and Smart Gold and can help you choose.
Why does the line need vacuuming before start-up?
New pipes hold air and moisture, and Jeddah's humid air adds more. Mixed with refrigerant, they weaken cooling and strain the compressor over time. We pull them out with a vacuum pump, watch that the reading holds so we know the line is tight, and only then release the refrigerant.
Can the outdoor unit be far from the room?
Yes, within the manufacturer's limits for line length and height difference. We use Mueller copper in runs of up to 30 metres without welded joints, so there are fewer joints that could leak, and the survey shows whether a long run needs extra refrigerant.
Can you hide the copper and cables in the wall?
It depends on the house. In a new build or during finishing works, the copper can run inside the wall before plastering. In a lived-in home we use neat plastic trunking in the wall colour. We show you the better option for your home at the survey, before any work starts.
What if the outside wall cannot carry the unit?
We check the wall before fixing anything, because some facades are clad in stone or panels that cannot take the weight. Then we set the unit on a floor stand on the roof or balcony, or on a bracket anchored to the concrete itself, not the cladding, so it does not shake loose.
My balcony is squeezed between my neighbour's very closely, how do you fit the unit?
We assess the spacing before installation. If it is too tight, we may mount the unit on your flat's external wall or choose a safe alternative location after your approval and careful inspection.
My flat is small and the balcony is very narrow, where does the outdoor unit go?
We assess all placement options: the main balcony, a side wall, or the rear facade. Send indoor and outdoor photos so we can identify the safest, most practical location.
East Jeddah gets extremely hot, does that affect cooling performance?
Extreme heat increases the unit's load but does not harm performance if you have the right capacity and proper line insulation. We ensure the unit size matches your flat's area and apply strong insulation to resist heat stress.
Summer dust here is heavy, does it affect the unit after installation?
Yes, dust builds up on both indoor and outdoor filters. We recommend cleaning the filter weekly or fortnightly during heavy dust season, and we offer regular cleaning maintenance to keep performance optimal.
