When you need a proper installer

  1. 1

A new unit for a room or flat

You have bought the unit, or are about to, and want it fitted once, not to find a refrigerant leak or water on the floor a few weeks later. Getting it right first time saves you all of that.

  2. 2

Not sure where the outdoor unit goes

In Jeddah flats the choice is usually the roof, the balcony or the facade. We pick a spot where the condenser gets enough air, a technician can reach it for servicing, and neither noise nor drain water bothers the neighbours.

  3. 3

A past install that went wrong

Weak cooling since day one, water running down the wall, a loud indoor unit. These are usually installation mistakes, not faults in the unit, and our installation is built step by step to avoid them.

Who it's for

  • Moving into a new flat that needs AC

We plan every unit position and copper route in one go, so the whole flat ends up neat and consistent.

    Ask on WhatsApp
  • Fitting AC in a shop or office

We place the units so cool air reaches the entrance and the work area, and arrange outdoor units and drains to suit the shopfront and the building's rules.

How we work

How we work

  1. 1

    Send a photo

WhatsApp us a photo of the room, where the outdoor unit might go and your district, and we tell you what the job needs before the visit.

  2. 2

    Agree positions and route

On site, the technician agrees the unit positions and the copper and drain route with you before drilling any wall.

  3. 3

    Fit and vacuum

We mount both units, run and insulate the copper, then vacuum the line with a pump and check the joints before releasing the refrigerant held in the outdoor unit.

  4. 4

    Start-up and handover

We run the unit, measure the air coming out, check the drain flows, then leave the room clean and show you the remote and how to clean the filter.

Some of our work

Ductwork, rooftop units and diffusers, from work we've completed in Jeddah.

  • Galvanized rectangular duct trunk with branch takeoffs and round diffusers, hung from a black ceiling, a Carrier unit visible behind — interior finishing stage.
  • Round diffusers and a spiral duct trunk in a tiled stairwell service shaft.
  • Rooftop ductwork and an exhaust fan, with Jeddah buildings in the background.
  • Rooftop packaged AC units with rectangular duct transitions, city buildings behind.
  • Insulated rooftop duct run beside a packaged unit, a warehouse roof in the background.
  • A grid of round diffusers in an open-plan office ceiling, mid-construction.
  • An insulated rooftop duct elbow, against a mountainous backdrop.
  • Large insulated ductwork running along a factory ceiling, with workers visible below.
  • A yellow round diffuser mid-installation, with spiral duct and a suspended ceiling grid.
  • Duct insulation wrap in progress on a construction site, bare duct still exposed.
  • A black-painted duct trunk with round diffusers and track lighting, in a finished retail interior.

What sets this district apart

Al Mulaisa is a relatively modern residential area with villas and apartment blocks with larger spaces and outdoor gardens, offering flexibility in siting outdoor units and runs. Villas here typically need larger capacity units than shops, and the horizontal distance between indoor and outdoor units may be greater, requiring additional insulated copper and precise evacuation before start-up. The hot climate and coastal humidity affect the durability of the runs, so we focus on proper insulation and drainage.

Al Mulaisa lies in south Jeddah, a modern residential area of villas and spaced-out apartment blocks across open plots.

Most homes here use single or dual split units depending on room count, with outdoor units typically placed on roofs or south-facing walls.

The AC setup in Al Mulaisa

  1. 1

    Single split for individual rooms

Bedrooms and living areas in villas typically need one unit per room, mounted on an interior wall away from direct sunlight.

  2. 2

    Dual split in larger villas

Larger villas may use one outdoor unit connected to two indoor units to reduce cost and centralise drainage.

  3. 3

Outdoor unit on roof with safe ventilation

Open roofs provide better airflow and safe access for maintenance, keeping the unit clear of the villa's hot walls.

Before the visit

Before our visit in Al Mulaisa

  1. 1

Decide on indoor and outdoor unit locations

Choose which room to cool first, then decide where to place the outdoor unit on the roof or wall, away from neighbours.

  2. 2

Ensure safe access to the roof or exterior wall

Confirm the roof is safe to stand and work on, and that the exterior wall can support the unit and bracket weight.

  3. 3

Clear furniture around the indoor unit location

Before installation day, clear the area around the indoor unit location to allow easy mounting and testing.

FAQ

Questions about Split AC installation

Will you install a unit I bought elsewhere?

Yes, we install units you have bought yourself. Before the visit we ask the model, its capacity and where both units will go, so we know the copper length. If you have not bought one yet, we are an authorised distributor for Carrier, YORK, General, Midea, Gree and Smart Gold and can help you choose.

Why does the line need vacuuming before start-up?

New pipes hold air and moisture, and Jeddah's humid air adds more. Mixed with refrigerant, they weaken cooling and strain the compressor over time. We pull them out with a vacuum pump, watch that the reading holds so we know the line is tight, and only then release the refrigerant.

Can the outdoor unit be far from the room?

Yes, within the manufacturer's limits for line length and height difference. We use Mueller copper in runs of up to 30 metres without welded joints, so there are fewer joints that could leak, and the survey shows whether a long run needs extra refrigerant.

Can you hide the copper and cables in the wall?

It depends on the house. In a new build or during finishing works, the copper can run inside the wall before plastering. In a lived-in home we use neat plastic trunking in the wall colour. We show you the better option for your home at the survey, before any work starts.

What if the outside wall cannot carry the unit?

We check the wall before fixing anything, because some facades are clad in stone or panels that cannot take the weight. Then we set the unit on a floor stand on the roof or balcony, or on a bracket anchored to the concrete itself, not the cladding, so it does not shake loose.

Our villas are spacious; how long are the copper runs typically from outdoor to indoor unit?

The length depends on where you place the outdoor and indoor units in your villa and how far the room to be cooled lies. We visit first to measure and ensure the insulated copper is sufficient to minimise energy loss.

Should the outdoor unit go on the roof or the wall, and does location affect cooling?

We prefer roofs when possible for better airflow and to keep the unit away from direct sun on walls. The right placement improves cooling efficiency and extends the unit's lifespan.

Coastal humidity may affect condensate drainage; do we need special maintenance?

We ensure the drain slopes gently outward, and recommend periodic checks of the drain line. Regular maintenance keeps efficiency high and prevents water seepage.

Do you evacuate the copper line before start-up, and why does it matter?

Yes, we evacuate air and moisture from the line with a vacuum pump. This is essential because air and water reduce cooling efficiency and can damage the compressor long-term.
