When you need a proper installer

  1. 1

A new unit for a room or flat

You have bought the unit, or are about to, and want it fitted once, not to find a refrigerant leak or water on the floor a few weeks later. Getting it right first time saves you all of that.

  2. 2

Not sure where the outdoor unit goes

In Jeddah flats the choice is usually the roof, the balcony or the facade. We pick a spot where the condenser gets enough air, a technician can reach it for servicing, and neither noise nor drain water bothers the neighbours.

  3. 3

A past install that went wrong

Weak cooling since day one, water running down the wall, a loud indoor unit. These are usually installation mistakes, not faults in the unit, and our installation is built step by step to avoid them.

Who it's for

  • Moving into a new flat that needs AC

We plan every unit position and copper route in one go, so the whole flat ends up neat and consistent.

    Ask on WhatsApp
  • Fitting AC in a shop or office

We place the units so cool air reaches the entrance and the work area, and arrange outdoor units and drains to suit the shopfront and the building's rules.

How we work

How we work

  1. 1

    Send a photo

WhatsApp us a photo of the room, where the outdoor unit might go and your district, and we tell you what the job needs before the visit.

  2. 2

    Agree positions and route

On site, the technician agrees the unit positions and the copper and drain route with you before drilling any wall.

  3. 3

    Fit and vacuum

We mount both units, run and insulate the copper, then vacuum the line with a pump and check the joints before releasing the refrigerant held in the outdoor unit.

  4. 4

    Start-up and handover

We run the unit, measure the air coming out, check the drain flows, then leave the room clean and show you the remote and how to clean the filter.

Some of our work

Ductwork, rooftop units and diffusers, from work we've completed in Jeddah.

  • Galvanized rectangular duct trunk with branch takeoffs and round diffusers, hung from a black ceiling, a Carrier unit visible behind — interior finishing stage.
  • Round diffusers and a spiral duct trunk in a tiled stairwell service shaft.
  • Rooftop ductwork and an exhaust fan, with Jeddah buildings in the background.
  • Rooftop packaged AC units with rectangular duct transitions, city buildings behind.
  • Insulated rooftop duct run beside a packaged unit, a warehouse roof in the background.
  • A grid of round diffusers in an open-plan office ceiling, mid-construction.
  • An insulated rooftop duct elbow, against a mountainous backdrop.
  • Large insulated ductwork running along a factory ceiling, with workers visible below.
  • A yellow round diffuser mid-installation, with spiral duct and a suspended ceiling grid.
  • Duct insulation wrap in progress on a construction site, bare duct still exposed.
  • A black-painted duct trunk with round diffusers and track lighting, in a finished retail interior.
  • An indoor AHU unit connected to round ductwork in a mechanical plant room, exposed concrete ceiling.

What sets this district apart

Al Sahl is a modern residential area denser than Al Nuzha, with taller apartment blocks and limited green space. The closely spaced buildings here demand careful calculation of the copper run and drainage route, especially if the indoor unit sits deep inside a flat away from the outside wall. Each flat needs a separate study because the layout and architecture differ from block to block, and neighbour approval for shared-wall pipe routes may be necessary.

Al Sahl lies in south Jeddah, a dense modern residential area of tall apartment blocks with local shops and services.

Most installations here need longer copper runs because outdoor units are often on building roofs or distant walls, and drainage needs precision to avoid water leaking onto shared walls.

The AC setup in Al Sahl

  1. 1

One split unit per flat or residential unit

Each flat in Al Sahl needs its own split unit, with pipes running through the flat's exterior wall only, keeping other units unaffected.

  2. 2

Longer copper runs from the roofs

Outdoor units mounted on tall building roofs need longer copper runs, which requires strong insulation to keep cooling efficient.

  3. 3

    Precise drainage down building walls

Drain pipes run down the building's exterior with weather protection, secured carefully to prevent water leaking onto flats below.

Before the visit

Before our visit in Al Sahl

  1. 1

Decide on both indoor and outdoor unit spots

In the flat, pick which exterior wall you prefer for the outdoor unit, and which room (living or bedroom) for the indoor unit, before we visit.

  2. 2

Check with neighbours about shared pipes

If there are water or electrical pipes near the exterior wall, ask your neighbours or building management where they run so we do not damage them during installation.

  3. 3

    Ensure roof access is available

If the outdoor unit will be on the roof, make sure the team can reach it safely and that roof access is open on the visit day.

FAQ

Questions about Split AC installation

Will you install a unit I bought elsewhere?

Yes, we install units you have bought yourself. Before the visit we ask the model, its capacity and where both units will go, so we know the copper length. If you have not bought one yet, we are an authorised distributor for Carrier, YORK, General, Midea, Gree and Smart Gold and can help you choose.

Why does the line need vacuuming before start-up?

New pipes hold air and moisture, and Jeddah's humid air adds more. Mixed with refrigerant, they weaken cooling and strain the compressor over time. We pull them out with a vacuum pump, watch that the reading holds so we know the line is tight, and only then release the refrigerant.

Can the outdoor unit be far from the room?

Yes, within the manufacturer's limits for line length and height difference. We use Mueller copper in runs of up to 30 metres without welded joints, so there are fewer joints that could leak, and the survey shows whether a long run needs extra refrigerant.

Can you hide the copper and cables in the wall?

It depends on the house. In a new build or during finishing works, the copper can run inside the wall before plastering. In a lived-in home we use neat plastic trunking in the wall colour. We show you the better option for your home at the survey, before any work starts.

What if the outside wall cannot carry the unit?

We check the wall before fixing anything, because some facades are clad in stone or panels that cannot take the weight. Then we set the unit on a floor stand on the roof or balcony, or on a bracket anchored to the concrete itself, not the cladding, so it does not shake loose.

Flats here are deep, how do you run pipes to an AC unit far from the window?

We study the flat's layout and choose the shortest, cleanest route through walls or ceilings, ensuring the pipes are insulated and secured so they do not affect other walls.

The blocks here are very tall, do you mount the outdoor unit on the roof?

Yes, most outdoor units are mounted on roofs or upper walls for best airflow, and we ensure all pipes are secure and protected from the weather.

Humidity is high here, does drainage need to be faster?

Drainage must have the right downward slope with no kinks, and high humidity means the drain pan fills faster, so the outlet must stay clear of obstructions.

Do we need our neighbours' permission to run pipes through shared walls?

If the pipe route passes near a shared wall or opening with your neighbour, it is best to tell them beforehand to avoid disputes, and we coordinate with them if needed.
