Split AC installation in Al Nakhil

In Al Nakhil, east Jeddah, installing new split AC takes time because buildings are spread out and runs are long. Alrabih insulates the copper meticulously, vacuums the line dry, and starts cooling with precision so the unit runs efficiently from the first hour.

  • Mueller copper
  • Full vacuum
  • Proper drain

When you need a proper installer

  1. 1

A new unit for a room or flat

You have bought the unit, or are about to, and want it fitted once, not to find a refrigerant leak or water on the floor a few weeks later. Getting it right first time saves you all of that.

  2. 2

Not sure where the outdoor unit goes

In Jeddah flats the choice is usually the roof, the balcony or the facade. We pick a spot where the condenser gets enough air, a technician can reach it for servicing, and neither noise nor drain water bothers the neighbours.

  3. 3

A past install that went wrong

Weak cooling since day one, water running down the wall, a loud indoor unit. These are usually installation mistakes, not faults in the unit, and our installation is built step by step to avoid them.

Who it's for

  • Moving into a new flat that needs AC

We plan every unit position and copper route in one go, so the whole flat ends up neat and consistent.

    Ask on WhatsApp
  • Fitting AC in a shop or office

We place the units so cool air reaches the entrance and the work area, and arrange outdoor units and drains to suit the shopfront and the building's rules.

How we work

How we work

  1. 1

    Send a photo

WhatsApp us a photo of the room, where the outdoor unit might go and your district, and we tell you what the job needs before the visit.

  2. 2

    Agree positions and route

On site, the technician agrees the unit positions and the copper and drain route with you before drilling any wall.

  3. 3

    Fit and vacuum

We mount both units, run and insulate the copper, then vacuum the line with a pump and check the joints before releasing the refrigerant held in the outdoor unit.

  4. 4

    Start-up and handover

We run the unit, measure the air coming out, check the drain flows, then leave the room clean and show you the remote and how to clean the filter.

Ductwork, rooftop units and diffusers, from work we've completed in Jeddah.

  • Galvanized rectangular duct trunk with branch takeoffs and round diffusers, hung from a black ceiling, a Carrier unit visible behind — interior finishing stage.
  • Round diffusers and a spiral duct trunk in a tiled stairwell service shaft.
  • Rooftop ductwork and an exhaust fan, with Jeddah buildings in the background.
  • Rooftop packaged AC units with rectangular duct transitions, city buildings behind.
  • Insulated rooftop duct run beside a packaged unit, a warehouse roof in the background.
  • A grid of round diffusers in an open-plan office ceiling, mid-construction.
  • An insulated rooftop duct elbow, against a mountainous backdrop.
  • Large insulated ductwork running along a factory ceiling, with workers visible below.
  • A yellow round diffuser mid-installation, with spiral duct and a suspended ceiling grid.

What sets this district apart

Al Nakhil is a residential district in the east marked by spacious villas and mid-rise buildings spread far apart, with deep gardens and very wide streets. The terrain here is more uneven than Al Tilal, and outdoor-unit placement needs extra thought on drainage and ventilation. The long distances between buildings and suitable outdoor spots mean very extended copper runs, so good insulation is critical to avoid cooling loss and leaks.

Al Nakhil sits in east Jeddah, a district of widely spaced villas and buildings with deep gardens.

Most buildings here require very long copper runs because of the distance between the structure and the best outdoor-unit location.

The AC setup in Al Nakhil

  1. 1

Split with very long copper from the deep garden

Widely spaced villas need very long copper runs, insulated with sufficient thickness to prevent cooling loss.

  2. 2

Outdoor unit on a distant pad deep in the garden

Deep gardens allow the outdoor unit to sit on a separate pad, completely away from sight and noise.

  3. 3

Multi-head split to cover large areas

Large villas and spread-out buildings accommodate one outdoor unit with multiple indoor units distributed across wings.

Before the visit

Before our visit in Al Nakhil

  1. 1

Confirm a safe parking and access point for the team

Because you are set far back, tell us the nearest safe point where the team can park and access the villa.

  2. 2

Choose the outdoor-unit spot in the deep garden

Choose a suitable corner or spot in the garden for the outdoor unit, away from pathways and seating, with good natural ventilation.

  3. 3

Plan the copper and drain route through the villa and garden

Tell us your preferred route for copper and drain through walls and garden, especially if there are decorative elements to protect.

FAQ

Questions about Split AC installation

Will you install a unit I bought elsewhere?

Yes, we install units you have bought yourself. Before the visit we ask the model, its capacity and where both units will go, so we know the copper length. If you have not bought one yet, we are an authorised distributor for Carrier, YORK, General, Midea, Gree and Smart Gold and can help you choose.

Why does the line need vacuuming before start-up?

New pipes hold air and moisture, and Jeddah's humid air adds more. Mixed with refrigerant, they weaken cooling and strain the compressor over time. We pull them out with a vacuum pump, watch that the reading holds so we know the line is tight, and only then release the refrigerant.

Can the outdoor unit be far from the room?

Yes, within the manufacturer's limits for line length and height difference. We use Mueller copper in runs of up to 30 metres without welded joints, so there are fewer joints that could leak, and the survey shows whether a long run needs extra refrigerant.

Can you hide the copper and cables in the wall?

It depends on the house. In a new build or during finishing works, the copper can run inside the wall before plastering. In a lived-in home we use neat plastic trunking in the wall colour. We show you the better option for your home at the survey, before any work starts.

What if the outside wall cannot carry the unit?

We check the wall before fixing anything, because some facades are clad in stone or panels that cannot take the weight. Then we set the unit on a floor stand on the roof or balcony, or on a bracket anchored to the concrete itself, not the cladding, so it does not shake loose.

My villa is set far back from the street, does installation differ?

Yes, the long entrance distance requires extra planning for copper and drain routing. We coordinate with you to choose the shortest route that maintains efficiency.

The ground here is uneven, does that affect drainage?

We assess the natural slopes and distances to ensure the drain slopes correctly away from the building's foundation.

The distance from the roof to my room is very long, do long copper runs affect cooling?

If we vacuum completely and insulate well, long runs do not affect cooling. But efficiency depends on proper evacuation before start-up.

Gardens here are very deep, where do you place the outdoor unit far from the house?

We survey the property and choose a spot or corner in the deep garden that offers natural ventilation and keeps noise far from living areas.
