When you need a proper installer

  1. 1

A new unit for a room or flat

You have bought the unit, or are about to, and want it fitted once, not to find a refrigerant leak or water on the floor a few weeks later. Getting it right first time saves you all of that.

  2. 2

Not sure where the outdoor unit goes

In Jeddah flats the choice is usually the roof, the balcony or the facade. We pick a spot where the condenser gets enough air, a technician can reach it for servicing, and neither noise nor drain water bothers the neighbours.

  3. 3

A past install that went wrong

Weak cooling since day one, water running down the wall, a loud indoor unit. These are usually installation mistakes, not faults in the unit, and our installation is built step by step to avoid them.

Who it's for

  • Moving into a new flat that needs AC

We plan every unit position and copper route in one go, so the whole flat ends up neat and consistent.

    Ask on WhatsApp
  • Fitting AC in a shop or office

We place the units so cool air reaches the entrance and the work area, and arrange outdoor units and drains to suit the shopfront and the building's rules.

How we work

How we work

  1. 1

    Send a photo

WhatsApp us a photo of the room, where the outdoor unit might go and your district, and we tell you what the job needs before the visit.

  2. 2

    Agree positions and route

On site, the technician agrees the unit positions and the copper and drain route with you before drilling any wall.

  3. 3

    Fit and vacuum

We mount both units, run and insulate the copper, then vacuum the line with a pump and check the joints before releasing the refrigerant held in the outdoor unit.

  4. 4

    Start-up and handover

We run the unit, measure the air coming out, check the drain flows, then leave the room clean and show you the remote and how to clean the filter.

Some of our work

Ductwork, rooftop units and diffusers, from work we've completed in Jeddah.

  • Galvanized rectangular duct trunk with branch takeoffs and round diffusers, hung from a black ceiling, a Carrier unit visible behind — interior finishing stage.
  • Round diffusers and a spiral duct trunk in a tiled stairwell service shaft.
  • Rooftop ductwork and an exhaust fan, with Jeddah buildings in the background.
  • Rooftop packaged AC units with rectangular duct transitions, city buildings behind.
  • Insulated rooftop duct run beside a packaged unit, a warehouse roof in the background.
  • A grid of round diffusers in an open-plan office ceiling, mid-construction.
  • An insulated rooftop duct elbow, against a mountainous backdrop.
  • Large insulated ductwork running along a factory ceiling, with workers visible below.
  • A yellow round diffuser mid-installation, with spiral duct and a suspended ceiling grid.
  • Duct insulation wrap in progress on a construction site, bare duct still exposed.
  • A black-painted duct trunk with round diffusers and track lighting, in a finished retail interior.

What sets this district apart

Al Sharafiyah is a central neighbourhood with multi-storey villas and relatively modern apartment blocks with reasonable outdoor space. The distance between indoor and outdoor units varies by design, and many owners want the outdoor unit hidden from the front facade for aesthetics, requiring longer copper runs and higher precision in routing and drainage.

Al Sharafiyah is in central Jeddah, a district of villas and residential buildings with varied outdoor space.

Most installations here require copper runs of 5 to 10 metres, and outdoor units are typically mounted on side walls or rear courtyards.

The AC setup in Al Sharafiyah

  1. 1

Split unit with medium to long copper run

Villas and flats in Al Sharafiyah often need copper runs of 5 to 10 metres when the outdoor unit sits far from the indoor one.

  2. 2

Outdoor units in courtyards and side walls

Most owners prefer the outdoor unit in the rear courtyard or side wall to preserve the front facade appearance.

  3. 3

    Sloped drainage with protection points

The drain is installed with consistent slope toward the courtyard floor or safe outlet, with protection from branches and debris.

Before the visit

Before our visit in Al Sharafiyah

  1. 1

Confirm the exact outdoor unit location

Tell us the preferred location for the outdoor unit, whether rear courtyard or side wall, and any aesthetic constraints.

  2. 2

Ensure access to walls and roofs

Make sure our team can safely reach walls, balconies and roofs to mount units and route pipes.

  3. 3

    Clarify the drain outlet point

Specify where the drain line can end, whether on courtyard ground or an existing drainage channel, to avoid dripping on walls.

FAQ

Questions about Split AC installation

Will you install a unit I bought elsewhere?

Yes, we install units you have bought yourself. Before the visit we ask the model, its capacity and where both units will go, so we know the copper length. If you have not bought one yet, we are an authorised distributor for Carrier, YORK, General, Midea, Gree and Smart Gold and can help you choose.

Why does the line need vacuuming before start-up?

New pipes hold air and moisture, and Jeddah's humid air adds more. Mixed with refrigerant, they weaken cooling and strain the compressor over time. We pull them out with a vacuum pump, watch that the reading holds so we know the line is tight, and only then release the refrigerant.

Can the outdoor unit be far from the room?

Yes, within the manufacturer's limits for line length and height difference. We use Mueller copper in runs of up to 30 metres without welded joints, so there are fewer joints that could leak, and the survey shows whether a long run needs extra refrigerant.

Can you hide the copper and cables in the wall?

It depends on the house. In a new build or during finishing works, the copper can run inside the wall before plastering. In a lived-in home we use neat plastic trunking in the wall colour. We show you the better option for your home at the survey, before any work starts.

What if the outside wall cannot carry the unit?

We check the wall before fixing anything, because some facades are clad in stone or panels that cannot take the weight. Then we set the unit on a floor stand on the roof or balcony, or on a bracket anchored to the concrete itself, not the cladding, so it does not shake loose.

My villa has older and newer sections, does the distance between units affect cooling?

Yes, longer distances need more copper and better insulation to keep cooling efficient. We calculate it based on your home's design and where the outdoor unit sits.

I want the outdoor unit hidden from the street, how do you handle that?

We mount the outdoor unit in the rear courtyard or side wall, with insulated copper running safely and a drain line that does not show on the front facade.

Al Sharafiyah is humid in summer, does this affect the tube length or insulation?

High humidity increases condensation on the refrigerant line, so we use thicker insulation and precise drainage to prevent dripping on walls and furnishings.

How do you ensure the drain does not damage the foundation or walls?

We route the drain line with the correct slope toward the courtyard floor or a safe outlet, and check for cracks or dampness before and after installation.
